Awesome. I'll be ready for mine. This is gonna be awesome. I have all the Yamato helmets, but one that will actually fit is going to be one of my favorite Macross items when it arrives.

Mo-Suu-Pii-Dah Inbitoh in 1/48--Part Deux!
Jasonc replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You da man, Ignacio!!! -
Odd, I actually used IE for the first time in 3 years, and it worked. Wonder why Firefox is being a pain with their site? Nevertheless, got it on preorder now. Now I feel complete. Alto will have the Fast Packs, Ozma will have the Armor pack, Michel will have the Tornado, Luca will have his Elint Fast packs, and the 25A will be bare. The Prophecy is too pretty to have stuff added as well, so I'll keep that one bare as well.

Mo-Suu-Pii-Dah Inbitoh in 1/48--Part Deux!

Man, I have an entire CD worth of line art, but don't have that one. I'll have to look for a high res of that. -
Mo-Suu-Pii-Dah Inbitoh in 1/48--Part Deux!
Jasonc replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I checked all the Mospeada line art I have to see if I had one on the Gosu. All I have is it in a pic with height comparison to the other Inbit and the Legioss. According to that, it's taller than the Legioss. Oh, and while you probably already know, money sent for 1. Thanks -
I've been gone for a short while, but maybe someone can help me? Is this still on preorder? I went to nippon Yassan, and can't click on the preorder button for the Michel version. It says August 2014, is that when this is supposed to come?

I'm fine with 1/60. There was a 1/62 scale version, but it's much smaller than it should be, so if you're going by that, it's off scale. 1/60 wouldn't be bad, and if it is a little small, less money.

Now the waiting game comes again. I'll get one, just to complete the line. Actually, I kinda like this one better than the others.

That's BS that Grumman shut them down. I don't think a small little fan film using the F-14 would make them even look their way. I think either HG lied to Creavision, or Creavision is lying for whatever reason. So far, all of Creavision's lying hasn't added up to any logic, I suspect this is the same. Someone challenge them to prove Grumman cares enough to shut down their project, especially since it hasn't even started. I think they need some toilet paper to clean their mouth from all the B.S. they've brought.

Mo-Suu-Pii-Dah Inbitoh in 1/48--Part Deux!
Jasonc replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Put me down for one. Thanks -
I didn't pay over $200 for any of mine. Close, but the most I paid with shipping was around $189. The armor parts, I didn't even come close to paying $200 for any set. Most was for the Armor parts for Ozma, at $125. Never had the QC issues either , but I do admit, they are a bit sketchy, or can be.

Have you collected the right valk to get final satisfaction?
Jasonc replied to VALKYRIE ACE PILOT's topic in Toys
For me, that holy grail valk happens several times a year. As of now, once the YF-19 comes, that'll be my ultimate Valk. However, once another gem is mentioned, that'll be the one. -
Complaining about the prices of every valk is like complaining about the weather. If it's too much in your opinion, don't buy them. Simple as that. Not everyone can afford them. That's how just about every item for sale in the world works. Get over it and move on. I'm usually pretty understanding of someone's complaints about an item, but when that's all you hear from someone in just about every thread, it gets old real quick.

At this point, HG is just the financier to employing a comic artist as a VP or animation, a skill-less brother of said artist as media, and an airport shuttle driver as their VP of Marketing. So no, I don't get surprised at the horrible job they do as barely surviving.
-
With it being a fan project, why would Big West sue Harmony Gold over it? HG had no part in this project, at least not on paper, so no, that's not it. Big West has zero to do with this, and pretty sure that anyone trying to make it sound like they are, is completely lying, and dodging the facts.
-
If it's official line art, I'd like some, as well as some in the Ex Gear.
-
I just find it funny that Tommy Yune would refer to Kevin, and Kevin apparently doesn't know why the C&D was sent. Diversion tactics, but for whatever reason, if you actually care enough to blame someone, you can blame HG.
-
OK, it was HG... http://nuevoordenanime.com/index.php/297-exclusivo-harmony-gold-se-refiere-a-la-cancelacion-de-robotech-valkyrie-project Translated Kevin's statement: ""No, we have hidden the details behind the Cease and Desist. However, we have an obligation to protect not only our rights, but the licensees and the rights of the other partners. Anyway, we are working on a protocol to allow such films." Whether it was WB or HG needing to protect their interests, we can all put it on Harmony Gold, and so now we know that Creavision lied to everyone's face trying to pin it on Big West.
-
All Creavision has to do, is show the C&D. If there is one, it would say who it's from. What gives them a credibility issue, is that they're the ones blaming one company, then the other. I think they're trying to stay in HG's good graces, but either way, they're playing a game with everyone, and not being straight with anyone. Whomever the C&D came from that's who it came from. Question solved. I'm going to officially bow out till there's something substantial with this. At this point, I couldn't careless what happens with this project. I've lost respect for the group who did this fan project, and since I've already lost all respect for the staff at HG long ago, there's no change there in them or their mark fans trying to dodge this thing a possibly put it on a third party.
-
Considering that this project was known in Japan about as long as HG has known, and considering that BW talks to anyone at HG, it's extremely unlikely that they would ask HG to send Creavision a C&D. They would've sent it themselves. That theory just doesn't make any sense, especially since HG technically isn't involved in the fan production.
-
I find this to be a dodge, to get people blaming everyone else but HG. Maverick has this sad sense of needing to defend his poor savior, HG to the ends of the earth, even though it shows just how ignorant he is. You should hear what some people have to say about the mods on rt.com on various boards. It's really quite comical. As HG sent the C&D, they ultimately are to blame. Whether it be due to WB or not is inconsequential. My theory is that as this picked up from the first film, and gained a lot of traction from the RT fans, HG (Tommy Yune) decided they wanted to take and have more control over the project, perhaps where it gets released, wanting to decide where the story goes, or anything like that. When Creavision refused to give certain control over to them, Tommy turned on the project. For those who think this is impossible, it's happened before. It happened to UEG, happened to a fan art publication that was being worked on several years ago, happened to the Robotech Espanol facebook page before that got shut down as well. Those are 3 prime examples of HG/Tommy Yune wanting to take control of a project, and when he gets shut out, he's shut them down. The fact that a couple of us knew Tommy somewhat personally, I can say that I wouldn't put this past him as something he'd do. Honestly, I have to agree with Gubaba. I hope this causes a backlash from the South American fans, and chokes off more fans. At some point, these fans need to understand that what HG puts out, the way they treat their fans show that they don't care about them at all. They just care about their cash. They should just drop the franchise. It's old, it's incapable of moving past its original combined series, and they just don't care about the fans. Why care about them or this franchise? Move on! Macross is a much better franchise that makes everything for everyone.

Mo-Suu-Pii-Dah Inbitoh in 1/48
Jasonc replied to captain america's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Still waiting on mine. Hopefully Monday, but it's strange mine hasn't shown up yet. -
I wondered that as well. I wonder if they'll cast top and bottom separately, and use glue or some sort of weld to tie them together. There are certain types of welding specifically made for plastic, like sonic welding, that maybe used. Either way, I just hope it's done right. The colors of the fighters in Zero are what made them so bad@$$ to me. They had more of a real world look to them, not this shiny space age fake look.
