    Along with extra Armor parts and an extra FP set, I will be customizing a Paladin set, so with the second one, I can display it as that, and the other in its original beauty. I am now good to go.

    I wonder if this has anything to do with their point system. I seem to have quite a few points there, so maybe that's why??? Hope everyone gets what they ordered. I wonder how this version will sell, or if they are going to do a large or small run?

    I have 3 Detolfs, and want to replace them with the brown/black ones. I just realized that I too have a Billy bookcase, and while a bit beat up and weathered, has held a ton of books for a very long time, and very successfully. It maybe time to upgrade that as well, and get the display room looking purdy.

    Still attempting this? I like M7, but c'mon! It'll never happen and I know too many don't want it to. They've moved on wit Frontier and it's working. Don't break something that has been fixed.

    Really??? And the McDonald's yellow and red on the first one didn't bother you at all? IMO, this is far better looking than the first release. Loved the engineering and detail of it, could not stand the color. Wish they made the MAXL to go with this. That would be an instant buy for me.

    It is less than the original release of the two items separated, and considering those who got the 19 and the booster, which was released later, some paid more in shipping as well. While it still should be lower, considering they don't need to do any R&D (except the ankles) it should've been a bit lower IMO. That said, I hope this doesn't screw them over, as it seems a lot of passes on these boards. I, for one, just sold my original set, so I have most of this one paid for now, and I do like the gold color MUCH better. Doesn't look like it's a Happy Meal toy.

    During the re-release of these, I got 5 of them, and am now down to 3. One for Roy, one for Hikaru, and one for whomever else. I hope they do put them out again. When I saw this thread up, I got happy for a second there.

    Probably an updated monitor. I could get a vintage tube monitor, but I kinda wanna fresh screen to last.

    Originally, I thought of doing something like that as well, but when it came down to it, I really wanted something more nostalgic, and something that also works as an entertainment furniture piece. By the middle of June, I should have the buttons and the control sticks for the game, and later on, the coin slot and marquee black light. The monitor will come last, as I can't really build this thing until we are in our new place in August.

    I got mine on Saturday. It came in a huge shipping box, and the box it is inside is massive. I'll probably open mine up tomorrow, but as a Sheryl collector, I'm glad I was able to get one. My favorite is still the Oiran Sheryl Nome.

    The most work it will be, is in building the cabinets, which I can't do until I'm in the new house. Until then, I'm slowly getting the internal components and parts together. Here's the power and the power switch for what will be the Macross Plus game.

    Well, that was a clear cut lie from him. So, now that it's been established several times that he just lies his way in and out of arguments and challenges, why even bother with the asshat? I mean, c'mon. aside from the comedy in displaying pure stupidity, what other use is there for him? My biggest kick out of all this, is that he somehow thinks he has some sort of "official" duty to a damn cartoon, when in reality, all he does is police a very dull, and just about vacant website for free. No wonder his wife doesn't approve of his Robotard addiction. Seems to be a common thread with the marks, putting a cartoon over things like family and stuff. Oh well, not anyone's problem here.

    Power supply setup 95% done. I'll be picking up a manual on/off single pole switch tomorrow at Home Depot that will eventually get routed to somewhere on the outside of the cabinet to power off the game when not in use, instead of having to go in the back and pull the plug out.

    Usually don't have big hauls of stuff, but got all these for for less than $150. Even the regular colored launch arm. Only paid about $60 for it.

    Finally got a few more to share. Some of the pics aren't great. Gotta fix my cell phone to take better pics.

    Power supply and all the wiring is almost done. Just waiting on a distribution transformer and some extra wiring connectors and it's all done. Just got the A/C noise filter connected to the main power wire and to a fuse. Also have the voltage distributor block and power switcher just about wired up. Definitely need to practice my soldering again.

    NY is usually pretty good about asking for payment on preorder stuff 2 weeks prior (or something to that effect). I had a good suspicion that these were going to be shipping out this week, and sure enough, I just happened to check here for info, and they're out. I'm sure the shipping notices will be out quite soon enough.

    Got mine on Friday. For us non-Japanese speakers, it's a very good box, and very cool packaging. The fixes, and the translations seem just fine, and I'm thrilled they decided to do this. I can only hope they continue to do this for the rest of their series, and the one to come next year. Not the greatest pics, but these are what the box looks like with the paper cover on.
