On a side note, I did see the Lindsay character and geez, is it just me, or does this character look a lot like Korra from the Nickelodeon show Legend of Korra?

    No, I was referring to a few that like to come out of the woodwork when comments are made here. It's already been awakened. It does seem that a large portion of those supporting the project are mainly in the U.S., despite having a larger fan base in Central/South America. I think that's the problem there. It also doesn't help that all these years, they couldn't handle criticism, and just banned people that didn't follow their gospel. Add those, along with countless people who would back them if HG wasn't so aggressive in keeping the copyright to the name Macross all over the world and blocking Macross, and you have a lot of pissed off people in one form or another. I read some of the posts today on the KS page, and it's funny that the delusional fans think that there's only a "few" fans that aren' happy with the franchise. This seems to be a big reality check. You got the bug, pass it on. LOL

    As Rick James once said, "Cocaine is one helluva drug" (no, I'm not advocating drug use) As far as Tom's comments, I'm waiting for the crazies to come out and post from their little tin hat bunkers any day now. If one sentence could incite a 2 hour podcast, imagine several paragraphs. Get ready for a mini series.

    I gotta ask, what cabinet is this? I'm probably going to be looking into new cabinetry once I'm settled in, and would love to go a little more fancy.

    The fact is, there are enough Robotech fans to fund this thing. The problem HG has, is that they assume that fans want to pay for something to be made for the sake of furthering Robotech. That's not true. Robotech fans just want to see something new, but don't want to invest in it. In any case, as of now, they need roughly $18,600+ to make the goal. They haven't made that kind of money since it started.

    Got some electrical parts to light it up, along with a switch for the lighting unit. I'll end up doing a build of it as time goes and I start work on it, in a different thread of course.

    That's a very good price to get it at. If you're on the fence, you should probably get it. I wish I would've waited and saved that money, but oh well.

    There won't be updates for awhile, as I'm beginning to move into our new house (that will fit the arcade games). I will revive this when the time comes.

    I'll just laugh at all the suckers who paid into this crap. I'm geared up for more Macross next year, and A SERIES, not a slim chance in hell of one getting picked up.

    Added a few more to the collection since I last posted... Side 1 of 2 Side 2 of 2 Another side 1 of 2 posters And second side... Is it just me, or does there seem to be less people collecting posters these days?

    I love my set. This is a great set to have. If you have the Yamato helmets, or plan to cosplay in this, it's a kit worth getting. Yes, it does require some work (I got the fully unassembled kit), but it does allow for some customization. I plan to set up some LED lighting in the life support monitor. It's a very nice kit. The fact that there are only a few days doesn't give you much time to dwell on it, but from my own opinion in having it, I'm quite thrilled to have it.

    Thanks buddy. It sounds better than I remember, but drinking and playing for me never do all that well, LOL. You guys did really good on the songs. Wanted to have a little jam session there.

    LOL, we butchered the end of the song, but that was fun. Thanks guys for a great time on our first trip out there. I know we're only borrowing Gubaba for a time. We'll bring him back over there.

    I want them to fund it, just so people can see how piss poor of a job Tommy's writing is. I also want to see a good number of pledges see just what they wasted their money on. If it doesn't get funded, then all HG has to say is "Well, we didn't make it, it COULD'VE been great." At least this way, fans who think they're investing in something can see what type of return they actually get. Then again, if it doesn't get funded, it'll be a virtual pie in their face. Either way, it will end up looking bad on their part.

    I don't know. Having a request to free up one offshore account with over $100,000,000 is quite a large amount, and the fact that he has a few more accounts elsewhere, we at least know they have over $100million. so far.

    This is basically a big ransom note to the fans. "We won't do anything, unless you give us money for it, and we won't tell anymore than that." From a company that has hundreds of millions of dollars in various accounts, I can't but see this as a sham to lure the ignorant into. These people investing can read on their fund that it gives them an opportunity to be part of the production process, when in fact, all they're doing is taking their money. They have zero say so in any of it. In reality, this kinda defeats what Kickstarter was originally set up for.

    I want to see this pilot made. I want to see all the people who donated money get pissed when they see what half a mil will get them from HG and a sub par animation fan group. It's one thing to get upset when someone else does something stupid. It's another thing to get upset at what stupidity is done on your dime.

    Get one of each option. Tornado packs come out in August, I think, so get one, then one armor, and one fast pack, if you're only choosing a couple or a few.

    As I said in a previous post, some think it's cool to whine and cry about releases. Whine and cry whey they aren't released, then whine and cry when they are. Just gotta shake your head and move on from that trap. Back on subject, finger's crossed, money in hand.

    I know this is a strange request here, but I couldn't think of any other place to really put it. Does anyone know of, or have any idea where I can get a hi-res of this? Looking for it and possibly any others, so that I can put it on the side of an arcade cabinet for the game with the same title. Any help, or links, or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
