Here you go... Sorry for the delay. Hope these help. I think it was issue 77 or 78 of new Macross Chronicle.
-
Just an update guys... Still working on cleanup of the prototypes. I'm not doing it, but they are being worked on so that they are as good as can possibly be. It's taking a little longer than it originally was intended, but this is going to be a great kit, and for that, we'd rather do it right. Sorry for the time.

Sorry for the delay. I got some scans of the 1X++. Hope these help in any way. Oh, and the 1X doesn't have the wings folding back. I was mixed up with the 0 Kai. Sorry, the pictures are going to be a bit huge. Doing it for the sake of some sort of hi-res. There's also pics here and there throughout the rest of the book, so if there's anything more specific you need, let me know. BTW, the head looks great.
-
Damn, I'll get the scan of the size comparison compared to the VF-1. It's in the Macross Chronicles.

Seeing the glowing green effect int he eye, mixed with the colors of the Valk, make it feel like this valk went into Studio 54 during its heyday, and came out with flare. Still like this one, but um, yeah.
-
Nice. Thanks for doing that. Can't wait to see them.

PM me, Kurisama, and we can discuss what you need. I have a few kits of the unassembled kit, and I can send you what you will need. As far as the work, very nice. Liking it very much.

When I was there, he had a really nice Myun that wasn't on the list. I thought about getting it, but I have quite a number of character cels, and not many mecha ones. It was a hard choice though, as it also came with a background.
-
I can get what I have in the MtR books that show it, and hi-res scan those. I also have a nose from one of the unassembled kits I could let you borrow, if that'd help for the verniers. As for the wing pieces, wings (wider and shorter), tail fins, and all that, I'll send those to you, if you're interested. Just send me a pm.

they're going to be decals. I thought about stickers, but the time to get them, the cost, and the fact that this is a kit usually dictates that people want decals for them. It's not really too much of a big deal. Sure, it'll take some extra time, but the quality should be better. Oh, and BTW, I believe this is the last day to pre-order? If anyone was on the fence, today is the day. I'm hoping to have the prototype pieces beginning of next week and at that time, I will post up pictures of them. They look fantastic so far. I'll have pics of those as soon as I get them.

The VF-1X++ has the nose verniers, yes, and it's got the leg armor. It also has a vernier on each side of the wings, and the wings in transfromation do a transformation like the VF-25 wings, where they angle back. It also has shorter wings, I believe, and definitely shoter tail fins.
-
That can be done. It probably won't be more than I think 4 at most.
-
Thanks, much appreciated. At worst, I may just supply them, and not add them because of that. It's looking to be a massive project on my end, and lots of work after work. Nevertheless, it should come out good. I'm hoping to get the finished prototypes Monday, but don't hold me to that. With collab efforts, things don't always go exactly as planned. I still have to set up the printer for the decals, and get sealer for those.

It'd probably cost less to just buy a V2. Kurisama, any chance of making the Macross the Ride parts?
-
I'd be interested in the Dragon, IF it were in 1/60. It'd go great with the figures EXO is doing, and that Roy. The 1/72 Q-rau, the 1/9 Mospeada, or the 1/3000 SDF t.v. version would be ones I'd get.

Got mine today. Almost missed it, as it was sent to my old address. I had to go to the post office two days in a row to try and stop them from returning to sender. Today was a good surprise to see they actually got a hold of it and saved it for me to pick up.

I will be working on decals (mostly based off of the Hasegawa and Yamato size decals. I have hi-res scans of them, and the decal paper is already here, so I should be getting those out with them. As to whether or not they'll be on the painted kits. normally this isn't done, as some may want variations, but I could just put the basic decals on, which is the kite symbol on. The rest would be up to each person. If I had to fully decal each one, you guys can't expect these to get to you for quite sometime.

I don't take that as a rule, but a common sense business practice. They aren't entitled to put anything out, and if it sells poorly, they aren't required to continue. I'd love to see this come with the SAP, but this could be a monetary issue, where they don't want to invest too much if it's a bust anyways. I see it as a way of mitigating potential loss. I mean after all, Macross II isn't the shining beacon of the Macross franchise. Quite opposite. I'm sure they've taken that into account, and we can only hope this turns out well in the end, for all of us. While I don't know what the Japanese market thinks of the no SAP, they are catering to them first, so I can only go with that. Glad to know this isn't the final design. Can't wait to see a final design. Thanks, Tochiro, for the news. It actuall kinda goes with what I was thinking. I hope they do reconsider adding the SAP as a standalone. It's too early to set those decisions in stone, so I'll continue with my two pre-orders, maybe a 3rd as well. I need Fairy Squad. Damn, maybe a 4th. Either way, I'm not so fragile as to reconsider pre-orders based on rumors, simple truth guys.... if you want it, get it. If not, don't.

All these releases coming out are killing my wallet, and are going to do it fast at the end of the year/start of next year. That being said, this is something I've been waiting for, for a long time. Now, if only they'd get on that VF-11 armor.
-
No worries. As long as you get what's going to make you happy, then I am. It actually makes it easier for me as well, as they are stacking up. I may need to set a limit for painted versions, but as of now, still good.
-
Very nice. Looks great.

If you're possibly interested in an alternative color, and this is really for anyone who doesn't want to paint them, just shoot me a pm. I'd rather have you show me what you want by taking a lineart piece and coloring it, but if that's not doable, show me a picture of a color scheme. At least this way, I will know if I need to skip dying the resin. I can quote you a price, and we can go from there. Just as an update, the project is almost completed as far as the prototype, and barring that, we should be good to go with starting the run.
-
I may decide to offer a few variations, but probably nothing too complex like camoflauge, or anything that will take up the bulk of time. If I do offer other selections, it maybe a few pre-selected schemes, or a choice of a few colors. The other variants will cost a little more, as I'll need to buy those paints, but that's an option. I'm working out something as I type this. I'll probably go with color choices, to give you and others the choice of colors. this'll help with adding more of a personal touch to each one.

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread
Jasonc replied to renegadeleader1's topic in Movies and TV Series
If you write a fanfic, you can have whatever transformation you desire. I try not to be too picky about them, and even if the valkyrie isn't the greatest design IMO, it's not the be all / end all to the series, OVA, or whatever comes. I actually prefer the story, and the valkyrie just a part of that puzzle that is Macross.- 2715 replies
