OK, 3rd time's the charm with this one. It set poorly and didn't get a good impression of the part. Nevertheless, I'll give this a run tonight and see how it goes. Sorry if the pic is extremely large. I'm taking this and uploading it on my phone from work.

Gubaba, just to let you know, I'm rewatching this as well. I might as well get them all in before Delta airs on a regular basis (not counting the rough 12/30 episode). What episode are you on, and how many episodes are you doing per day?

I meant to ask if there was any other color on the head inside other than the florescent paint and white. I really like the outside of the unit. I haven't seen Zero in awhile, so I don't remember the exact coloring of the head, the inside of the bird human head, or even if it was shown in detail.

Yeah, two different things, but both put graphics on the object. I wish I could tampo stuff without having to go through all the trouble. If it ever becomes an easy thing, I'd love to do it.

What does the paint on the inside look like without the florescent paint?

If I need to make them larger or smaller, it's not a problem. They're a really hi-res jpeg, like 600 DPI, so scale up isn't an issue when it comes to minor upscaling.

I was reading a post here, where someone was speculating about the new voice actress singing Ai Oboetimasuka?. While there maybe a resurgence of that song coming back in this series, the one thing to remember is that it was mentioned that she is in "training" more or less. Be that for singing, voice acting, or both, Before many bands go into studio sessions to record, if they're new to the layout of a studio, the way their voice plays back, etc., many professional places like this will often have the performer warm up, and practice something they are familiar with as warm up. With singing, the inflection of words in a song can mean just as much as the words themselves. So, for what it's worth, this could be just a coaching tool being recorded, or a warm up. Also of note, while it is very early, I doubt they'd have her singing one of the songs on a preview before the song is even out. That's one of those things that just doesn't happen. Every day that I've been in a studio, there's always been a warm up, quick run through rehearsal of the song about to be put on a track, and so forth. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on her singing that song. could be in the show, but if not, I wouldn't be surprised. -

After much thought and head pounding, I caved and ordered 2. I was on the fence about getting one, but after already having one, I will need two for the FB2012 to patrol with, so there you go.

Thanks guys. I must say, I'm quite happy with the kit itself. It's a solid piece. In all of this, I've managed to find some great recast products as well. Some that are superior to what I was using in the past, and some new methods for some workaround parts that weren't recast friendly. the decalse came out good, but as I needed to decide on white backing vs. clear (no printer to do white color), I did have to go with white backing due to the UN Spacy kite. they'll need to be carefully cut, but in the long run, it was the best decision. I do like the quality of the decal paper, and waiting on clear paper would take longer and cost more, which at this point, I'm spening my own money now on materials.

Final parts got delayed a bit due to some shortages on supplies and tools. I am now working on some clear parts, and redoing two small molds. I thought they'd be done awhile ago, but I wasn't happy with one of the molds once the parts came out. I bought a 30 strenght resin, platinum based rubber, and it's extremely durable. It takes 6 hours to cure (more like 8 with the cold weather), but things are looking great. clear parts will be looked at today. The ultra clear resin I have is a bit odd. Part B is almost super gel like and doesn't poor well. However, the instructions say that if that happens, to warm the bottle, so it seems like I'll be doing that to get this stuff to poor properly. It's also mixed strictly by weight, so I got a digital gram scale for that specific use. Testing of the material will be today when I pull it out of the pressure tank. Other than that, pictures of the decals will be up tonight. As I said, there isn't a lot of decals known for this thing, so I added some extras, in case anyone wants to go full on detail with it. Sorry for the delay guys, Between what I just described, and a lot of things like a newborn niece and nephew within one week, things are a little hectic. I should have the first 1/72 out this weekend for certain. I'm just waiting on one other half of a mold to finish.

Based on the design work and details needed, that's actually a fair price. If it's priced lower, it's really a sweet deal.

Saburo, I found one that was given to me by a cousin. His kid didn't want them, so I got it. All complete and still works. Also got these in yesterday. Amazing stuff.

Sadly, no. Maybe it's the variety of stands they have through their website? I don't know, but that's the only thing that I wish they did have. I ordered one though, but if I can find that dual stand, I'll get one of those.

I really like that stand. I'd like to get one of those for these two. BTW, I just got mine today. They are big as expected, but I'm really blown away by how beautiful they actually are. To finally see them in hand and display them is really a sight to see. I'll just put up this one pic here, cause it's not my best pic and I need stands for them.

Aside from needing to fix Ranka's hair, they look great. Can't wait. I hope I can get them tomorrow.
