I've got mine as well. It looks great. I was able to score the actual Frameout version, so I'm gonna do a comparison of the two. This one is a solid design though. I think I prefer it better. I really need to get the rest of the parts though. Not the Fast pack parts. I know those will be a lot of work, but the verniers on the nose, the fat wings, the shortene tail fins, etc.

It's not an either/or type of situation. One needs both in an effective story that keeps one interested. If all one wanted to do is tell a story, then no, you don't need dialogue, but one should tell that story quickly and be done with it. If you want to tell a story and get a reader invested in the characters and feel what they are going through, thinking, and get to know them, dialogue and interaction of it is crucial. I'm not saying write a script, or have dialogue where it may not be necessary either. One simply need find a great pacing for both that gives a great balance between the narrative and the dialogue. Like a comedian, the timing of the punchline is everything.

I did get a chance to read it, and I do agree with Gubaba, it needs dialogue. Without the story of the characters being told in their words to supplement what you're writing, it makes the characters wooden and without any emotion. Don't let the story drive you. You drive the story. If you are going to blow off dialogue until there's something interesting to say, then you dictate a way to make it interesting. Script various interactions of this in your head, with different possibilities of things happening, and what you would say in those. That may help give some life in it. Sorry if I haven't posted in here at all. I used to do a lot of writing, but it was never fanfic, and thus, the reason why I never posted in here. Hope that helps at least a little.

Do you have any pictures for reference? I don't know if these are in the Valkyrie files or not, but they seem interesting.

. That is to be expected. Dealing with 3D printed parts of different materials is a challenge. I know this is a kit, but as I'm sure you know, in most good design, it's better to over reinforce, than to under, as it's like an insurance policy. The thickness of materials is really going to dictate the final material going into a recast, if that is the final plan. Overall though, this is a definite winner. I can't wait to see what the final product is going to look like.

Sure, why not. Unfortunately, the last one, for some reason grew at an uncommon angle, and the more the dentist tried to pull, the more anchored it got. It was a strange deal, and I metabolize the numbing stuff really fast, so because he spent over 40 minutes pulling and yanking on that last tooth, my jaw was sore and couldn't open my mouth properly for a couple days. Just now getting to the point where I can eat a regular sandwich without opening up to eat in pain. Still swollen though, but that's just a formality. Norco does work wonders, but I've been back at work.

This one was probably mentioned pages ago, but just picked this up. I had no intention of getting it, but everytime I went by Anime Jungle and it was there, it grew on me. She's absolutely adorable. There's different characters out now, and a third on the way.
-
Then they probably did something wrong, or Arcadia did something wrong, because the scales are off.
-
I just hope they are what people expect from a resin kit. I packaged up and sent two out today. I've got tomorrow off, so that'll help get some stuff done. Hopefully another two done or more. I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled today, so I couldn't do too much. Even as I write now, I'm in serious pain, and can't move my jaw (really difficult wisdom tooth left me sore).

I don't think the Macross DX line is even 1/60. They don't list a scale on the box. So, if Bandai does end up getting a VF-1 license, they already have a couple variations of it in different scales. I hope Arcadia does still keep it. Their VF-1 in 1/60 is really a solid toy. Also, the M&M 1/60 is a hard find. There's a Miliya on YJ for about $600+. I have an open Miliya, but I wouldn't sell it for less than $500.

I have kits going out tomorrow. Not all of them, but a few. Decals came out well, all recasts are looking good. Once the 1/72 recasts are done, onto the 1/60s.

Thanks. Great pictures. I really do like the looks of them in these outfits. I think I am going to end up displaying them in one of the alternate outfits. Thanks for posting them. They do take time to put them in the outfits right the first time. The second time is much quicker, but in some cases, it takes about as much time as transforming one of the more complex Valkyries.
-
That looks amazing. Great work. I can't wait to get one myself.
-
No problem. I finally got done with all 1/72 molds and they're pretty good for a kit this complex. At this point, I'm just recasting as much as I can do for the weather. the cold is making these have to stay in the tank twice the amount of time. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the results.
-
I'm gonna start as soon as I finish making the molds for the 1/72. The molds are done already, so it's just a matter of getting to them. I'm hoping mid December. I have all the paint and decals ready, so it's just going to be an assembly line for the painted ones.
-
You're welcome. Just wish I could work faster. I tried that and I'm now fixing little things I didn't notice before. However, last piece gets poured today, and with a longer weekend, hopefully some time to get it all done and start sending kits out. On a side note, I'll try to update everyone this weekend, but if I don't, Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. For those that don't celebrate it, I can say that I'm thankful for all the great fans here. you guys are all awesome.

I made them myself. In order to get decals done through a business, usually it cost a bit of money, and since I had these decal sheets at home already, I might as well use them. They'll work, and the paper is quite decent. I may have them done for the Ghost X-9 if there's enough orders.

I just got one MISB for around $250 off of eBay. This might be a reissue that's a day late in the demand. Nevertheless, if they reissue the super parts, I'll get those.
-
Thanks Tochiro for putting it up. If anyone has any questions about them or any of the technical questions regarding them, you can ask here, or send me a pm.
-
Ok. The results are in, and the recast is very, very clean. It's better than I thought it'd be. Part 2 is under construction now. Same careful method to be used.

I see a Macross item on display in that last picture. Edit: And in the first picture.

Very nice. The cabinet space, along with how you have the rest of this stuff on display, looks great. Can't wait to see the final look, if it really ever does become a final look. I'm impressed.

Hoping that a company dies off so that another company can pick up their licenses, just because of a bad experience sounds like a whole bucket of whining to me, but in any case, it's an old issue. I'm not too worried about this release. If it does have any issues, while I will be upset at it, I know that not every fruit off the tree is going to be as sweet as another, and the fact that I've had bowls and bowls of sweet fruit from said tree, I'll be alright. Yeah, sorry for the analogy, but I think it suits my situation just fine.

The other side needs to be done, but that is going well. In the meantime, I'm making some of the other parts in between.
