That's a cool cell, and to be honest, she's one of the main characters that we're missing from our collection. I'd like to get one of Milia, Max, and Myun, but I'm not in a rush.

Don't really get the restaurant part, but other than that, you're on the right track. As far as AX this year, most of the guys still part of rt.com are still friends. It's just one or two, and then the staff, that were pretty much shunned.

So, it seems like the 4 is all we'll ever see of the 21/22s, correct? I don't remember ever seeing any other variants.

Man, you're the 2nd Robotech fan in 2 days I've talked with that has expressed to me and others their displeasure with the franchise. I had to wonder what the heck they are doing over there besides coming up with excuses for why they don't do anything. I mean, they didn't even really have anything different or big on the website, unless you count the cut and paste 25 year alpha pic. Who knows, maybe if they've still got the same employees and the same website, they'll draw another picture for the 50 year anniversary??? OK, maybe not, maybe for 30 years? I understand how you feel as well. Being a fan of it from back in the day, it really does suck to see little to no attention paid to the original series. That said, I really have no interest or even care for anything from the start of the Wildstorm comics on. But as a few will often say here, what type of gripping story do you expect from HG with the staff they have now?

There will be a custom contest, and if you guys are feeling gutsy, karaoke. I know the team working for this year have been doing a lot of planning, and it's looking to be one heck of an event.

Hahaha, I'd say meeting girls at clubs and bars was pretty easy for me, but then again, a pretty face is sometimes all you get, and the hassle of weeding through girls that are worth your time vs. the high maintenance girls that have other agendas can be time consuming. I tell this of all my friends out there...It's easy to find what you want. Your wants probably match about 90% of every other guys wants. What's more important is discovering for yourself what you don't want. Find those out, and all the other things simply fall into place. It did for me.

Even if said conflict occurred, I don't think HG would go that far. They've given WB their game license, as well as a good number of their merchandising licenses. I think they wanna sell the franchise to WB, and engaging in a legal battle would not only cost them a lot of money, but it'd probably ruin HG's chances of getting rid of a franchise they've probably been wanting to pawn off to someone else.

I still don't see it being a movie in the sense that we all would consider a standard movie. Then again, who knows. I'm ready to see the boob missiles fire away. I'm still wondering how the hell this is going to be a full length animated movie, and have it done by next year? It's obvious that those that are wetting their pants over this haven't thought far enough ahead to think logically about what maybe going on here. Mind you, that seems to be only the most vocal of fans, but still. I've had a few RT fans email me about this new "project", and they've kinda had the same idea that any normal person would...which is, the fans are gonna get pretty pissed when they find out what they're waiting on. Misinformation will breed contempt for those that set it all about, but I'm sure they'll find a way to spin it to where they'll use those sayings like "We never said it would be _____" or "When did we say that?". Then there will be some that simply don't care, but will gobble it right up since it's Robotech. I personally don't care what it is. On one side I feel bad for those that get fed the wrong type of info, and on the other hand, I find it so funny that the crazy fringe of Robotech are willing to make so many assumptions off of what little they've been given. I'm just glad there are some out there that have a level head, and simply reserve judgement for the final product, and don't buy into the speculation as fact garbage that will be the frenzy for the next month or so.

I seriously question if this is something Macek was really working on??? Perhaps it's just said as such to supposedly avoid the criticism? I dunno, I guess my synicism from past fiascos makes me like this. Hahaha.

I absolutely love my Orguss cel. Had to get that one, as for some reason, I don't see a lot of cels with both characters in the same pic.

I have to agree on why Megumi was chosen to do Ranka. I think the real lives of May'n and Megumi helped enhance the roles they played, and made the characters more lifelike. That's my opinion, and maybe something they saw when deciding. Besides, one good voice actress doesn't mean the voice they have fits the character they want. It's all in the casting.

Save, in regards to your question, he does tie in that comment of Tats to the project, as well as on the podcast. Ah hell, I hope it isn't Love Live Alive. If they got the rights for that, and butcher it, I'm gonna start my own damn project of adding the right songs and sound to the DVD or whatnot. I really enjoy the Voice actors and their work, as well as the music and what Michael Bradley did, but c'mon...Let it not be that.

I guess RT fans have a fascination with knowing everything with every single character, Sera and Lancer is no exception. It would create a lot of trouble for them to actually write a full new side story,,,either that, or they are incapable of it. Take your pick. In anycase, they're passing it off as a new animated series coming next year, even though Tommy specifically said that they were going to use Carl's idea to explore other means of putting out new story. Go figure. And the misinformation continues. Update, I listened to Tommy's additional verbage about this. Here's what Tommy has said about it. -It's a small production -Supposedly Tatsunoko is working with them on it -It is gonna be a "movie length movie", which I don't know what that means -It will be animated (Flash or full animation is anyone's guess) -They haven't put anything out yet because they want to cross-promote the LAM with Shadow Rising O.K., don't know about all of you, but something doesn't fit in all these comments. On one hand, it's too small to be a movie, but he calls it a movie once. Yet, they don't wanna promote any movies because WB's pull. I sense puffery here, the deliberate inflation of the facts. OK, now let the misinformation continue.

That sounds kinda Mr. T like..."I pity da foos!" I only feel sorry for the true fans who haven't gotten what they've been waiting for, and only get hand-me-down quality stuff. Oh well, I had a good conversation with several RT fans at AX, and they seem more like the realists than the "Everything is perfect" type. At least some eyes are being opened. Of course, the more vocal will say differently. Heard a lot of interesting stuff.

Definitely put me down for one, please. I'll think about the color and get back to you on that.
