That's a real bummer, but whatever you an do to get it to work, that'd be cool. I'm shipping the software to you today, so you'll have it by end of the week (fingers crossed). When it comes to computers, you pay for power, and I'm happy with my new laptop. It's got the ability for a BD burner, 8 gig Ram, Tru HD, and is just a monster. Cost me $1800, and has the computing power to go with all that dough. Invest well, my friend. Hope to see this project come to fruition.

At least they're the same price as they were when they were web exclusives.

It's nice to see the landing clear actually clear the giant gun and look like they could function like landing gear should. I hope the pilot is removable and looks like a 1/60 figure. I know the Bandai figs in the cockpits seem to look much smaller. I hope the paint holds up, and I'm not gonna go all out and say that this is the be all/end all to all the fixes, but at least it's a step forward. Hope it's a giant leap forward moreso than a simple step. -
This was also done in the U.S. release of Gunbuster. One song was completely removed from the show due to its extremem likeness of Chariots of Fire, I believe. I've always wanted to re-edit that and put it back in.

I think they can use all the original footage they want in that regard, but it'd be nice to get better word on that in regards to incorporating original footage in a newer production.

I approve of the Klan picture, and I want this magazine.

Is this getting a full release on DVD or a re-release?

Anyone gonna play SOCOM 4? I'm gonna be getting my old clan back from SOCOM II, so if anyone is gonna be playing send me a pm.

I always thought that in most cases, music that is written and produced specifically for a television show, or in this case, an anime series, is inclusive to that series licensee. For example, in a perfect world, if Funimation were to get the license for Macross 7, the songs used in the production of that anime are included, and do not need to purchase a seperate license for the music, unless they planned to release a domestic CD version of the music. That's been my understanding, as in said example, Funimation is only using what was included in the production and within scope of what is granted as a licensee.

Starblazers on SyFy. Coming April 21, 2011.

Yeah, I know. I was disappointed, because I wanted to show my support by watching it on t.v., as I like to do with all the shows I watch, but as of now, it's not meant to be. The sacrifice for having to work at 6a.m. -

I wanted to watch this, but, with the crappy time slot, I won't be seeing this ever on t.v. What sucks is that they moved the original ani-monday to thursday, and now they don't even have that. Sucks. -
I'm almost willing to bet some of the nutjobs are thinking, "Quick, let's do another podcast on how this information isn't true! Hurry, let's convene on this argument." Again proven, there isn't anything to debate. Looks like the latest podcast of Robotech World was a complete waste of time, and is now on record as them being wrong, AGAIN. Good stuff.

Yeah, I have to agree. I think for Prime, he's a truck, and trucks are meant to haul, yes, but also have shine when they are cleaned and waxed. Fighter jets, I don't see it working too much on those. There is some dimension of reality that people want in their toys, even if to only look like what they saw on t.v. I don't need them to be ultra realistic to where they compromise the playability, but, well, that's where I come with that. -

Since I've got a couple of them, maybe I should put one up for auction. If anyone wants it, it's yours for only $300? How's that for undercutting someone on ebay? -
I've been told this by Tommy Yun way back when. It's also been told before that by Carl Macek. Anybody watch the documentary on the Shadow Chronicles DVD? (thought you guys wouldn't have) Well, they cut out my friend and his wife's interview because they mentioned the name Macross, and because their children are named after two of its characters. Then, there was a fan cosplay that was shot with someone dressed as a Valkyrie, and that was cut because they didn't want to get sued for that as well. That's what HG legal team told the HG RT staff during that time. So, either these lunatic fringe fans are either stupid, or suffer from some serious delusions...either/or. QUOTED FOR THE F!@#ING TRUTH! LOL

My wife has a BFA in Visual Communications/Graphic Design and is a senior designer/art director, and she can verify, it's definitely not pink. If you're comparing to the kite on top of the website, that's red, too, with some of the kite a little lighter and darker in various areas. Open up the image in photoshop and take samples of the red, and you'll see that most samples have both the magenta and yellow settings between 85-95%. In regards to the other variant colors of the 29, a grey, dark grey version would be well worth the money, as long as it's not as glossy as the plastic has been on previous Macross Valkyrie products by Bandai. Just kills the "cool" effect of the toy in my opinion, with it super shiny. -

Their problems seemed to start way before the earthquake. Apparently, they just stopped updating the site, stopped communication with people, and burned Xstoys, as described above. I take word of mouth very seriously, especially from trustworthy sources, and this is one of those things I'm not gonna chance, especially when coming to my money.

Yeah, that's what I thought. They are, once again, trying to lump in half-assed truths to fit their argument against what most her already know. For some reason, they feel they need to argue this point to try to prove people wrong in this, but I can see where they are trying to make this work. The thinking, "If HG can use Southern Cross and MOSPEADA, they can use Macross" seems like a very ignorant way to rationalize an argument. As the saying goes, "If common sense is so common, how come so few have it?" rings true once again. Thanks, Az for the Artmic and Tats info. Reinforces the idea of some people really needing to think before they open their flaps.

I was just listening to a couple of whacked out RT fans talking about how HG can use the Macross designs because since it was all brought in with Southern Cross and MOSPEADA, it makes no sense to them that HG can use those designs, but not Macross. I heard that, and just about died laughing. Southern Cross and MOSPEADA weren't in the court cases that SDF Macross was in, so those would have no bearing on the Macross rulings. Furthermore, Southern Cross and MOSPEADA weren't from Big West, were they? Really, why try to rationalize and twist facts to make them work, when reality is proving a whole different thing? They don't even believe HG legal, when they stray away from using Macross desings. OK, that was my input for the day, carry on.

It'd be scary if they are HK bootlegs. Oh, and I do have both. Both are very cool, and unique. The VF-X has the panel to hide the arms under, and is pretty cool to look at, but something about the 1/60 AB that just makes it really stand out. Probably one of the best put together VF-1s by Yamato so far.
-
I downloaded that DesignByMe program, and unlocked all the parts, and started, so it's a file, no pics of an actual build. I'm probably going to need to take out my Yamato 1/100 to get an idea of certain mechanics. Unfortunately, this will probably end up being one of those projects for me that falls by the wayside, as I'm in the middle of working on two other projects at the moment.

Wow, that's pretty strange and mysterious. Well, if you or anyone has those pics, please post them up here. I started on attempting to replicate the beast, and got as far as a foot, but had to leave to take care of other things. Getting it to transform would be awesome.

I'm not too familiar with that site that has them up, but how much do they have the preorder for?

I'd love to get a Konig Monster Lego set. It looks like a massive amount of work to get that done. Does anyone know the guy? I'd order one. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my hands wet on designing in Lego, but maybe it'd be fun to try at least.
