  1. There's also the modern issue of political correctness.
  2. I have one more question that's been bugging me ever since I got into Macross (via Robotech). Is there any valid explanation behind the giant tuna? Also, how in the world did Hikaru even manage to survive outside?
  3. Not to mention various gun kills from the Israeli Air Force since then. Even to this day, they still value the gun in air-to-air combat.
  4. That's what they said before Vietnam.
  5. That being said, the "Protoculture" could just as well be Cylons.
  6. Has anyone else heard of Roundabout? Judging by the trailer, and some gameplay videos, It looks hilarious, in a stupid, cheesy sort of way.
  7. Sprey is the same one who said that an M61 Vulcan was useless as a cannon because it took time for it to wind up compared to a revolver cannon like the M39 or the Mauser BK 27. In my opinion, he's just as credible as Carlo Kopp, who claims that the F-111 Aardvark was superior to the F-35.
  8. If I remember what they said during the Robotech Academy Kickstarter correctly, they said that Latin America has the largest Robotech following outside the U.S.
  9. Was I the only one hoping that Prince would show up in a later episode?
  10. What about Macross Zero? The dogfights in those OVAs were pretty intense.
  11. Let's see now, some of my guilty pleasures... As seen by my avatar, I'm into My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and I thoroughly enjoyed Macross 7. As mentioned in another thread, I'm also into the anime Rail Wars! I'm finding myself being dragged back into the Sonic fandom, mainly because of the upcoming Sonic Boom TV show, as well as the comic series having undergone a continuity reboot. Finally, I've found myself playing Robotech: Battlecry again, if only because it's the closest I'll ever get to playing the Macross VFX games or Macross 30.
  12. Not to that point. There is a harem subplot, though.
  13. The theme song is pretty catchy, if you ask me.
  14. That's the problem with sarcasm and satire on the Internet, and the reason why so many people take The Onion seriously. Speaking of which, if it was a sci-fi movie, The Onion Movie would rank up on this thread as one of the worst. Back to the subject at hand: HAL 9000 is totally a ripoff of Sharon Apple! I know. I was actually debating whether or not to use that GIF of Matt Smith saying "Never apply logic to Who" instead.
  15. How about guns inside of guns?
  16. My current guilty pleasure right now is Rail Wars! As a railfan, I can apprecaite the attention to detail when it comes to Japan's railways. Unfortunely, most of the series is blatant fanservice.
  17. What about some of those souped-up customs from Macross the Ride? Most of them are already faster than stock VFs.
  18. So, Japan gets Macross the First, and we're stuck with this?
  19. As I told my dad when explaining the fandom, "Bronies are the new 'Trekkies.' We even have Q on our side."
