i've been so busy, i keep telling myself to post pictures. will get to it someday soon (i hope) =D i made mine out of a brass rod with a brass tube that fit perfectly onto the rod. they cost $1 at a model shop. all i did was cut the rod and tip to the correct length, superglue it together and then used a chunk of epoxy putty for the base. good luck with your custom jason!

drifand, nice orguss collection. i see you even have some of the bootleg white 1/60s. very nice. i think you'll find that here on the boards there is a cult following for the 1/55's. i personally love them to death, the bandai's are nice but there is no toy out there today that can compare to an OG takatoku in styrofoam insert with that nice textured box. the toy inside was pretty nice too

not as big as the giant ass cardboard sdf-one. it's like 4 feet or something like that....a guy auctioning it took a picture of it next to his kid and it towered over the kid, lol.

milkmanx and rth had a section on their VERY old site devoted entirely to macross customs. the site's been gone for a very long time but i thought that was a fun place to visit. if anyone has images of RTH's stuff they should submit them, viva pink valkyrie. he was one of the customizing greats before disappearing up north.

i vouch. the 1a heads and all the other ones are most certainly not chris or rob heads.

i watched it and had no strange negative effects just remember its all make beleive. a lot of japanese movies deal with feelings of isolation and loneliness. its a negative side of living in such a fast paced capitalist society that produces cool cool toys. kairo, suicide club, and serial experiments lain all followed similar themes.

those brass rods look awfully familiar and similarly sized to the ones in the 1/55 ankles, lol. way to put them to a new use though the hips/feet were a much more fitting display of your talent. rob, get cranking on the BIGGER projects

so are the isamu, guld, and sailor minmay figures bandai prototypes too? theres no way they can be customs made from bondo and super sculpey. lol. joking, no one flame me.
