Nice!!! my first Bandai DX pre-order obtained Thanks for the heads up guys! As for the VF-31, i must say that it has grown on me over the course of the anime and especially after getting a Yf30 recently. I love how it transforms and the "backpack" really adds character and gives it that extra flare that should come with with the evolution of the valkyrie. so im very excited to get one, hopefully i can find another pre- order somewhere too

im still waiting on Loopaza to release i 1J and 1A that i pre ordered in August. Anyone have experience with them?

I might reconsider moving the VF-1S with the strike parts to one of the arms as I do share a concern, however the tubes are great for a standard VF-1 without any of the heavy strike parts. The VF-1S hikaru custom definitely makes me nervous, but that is mostly because the stand adapter does not lock into place in battroid mode, I kind of just rests under the hips. I have to balance it quite a bit and I decided to remove the wing missile boxes because they created some weight that caused more issues

My box came in yesterday with a few goodies including the tamashii trident stand. I hope they release more DYRL stuff so I can add it to my growing display cabinet

My fingers are crossed that i can snag a max 1J at retail too! It feels so much better to be able to get them at retail, that is one of the main reasons i am loving the Hi-Metal R line. I hope they keep producing them and continue to other Macross series, after a VT-1, VE-1, and VF-1D of course ;P

I really want a VF-31 but I missed the pre-order. How likely will it be that there will be stock left after they are released?

Does the vf1a come with a DYRL pilot and a SDF:M pilot too? I think I read that it had the hands and the head packeded with it, but both pilots too? I also thought you could not take the pilot out....
