    I like the wider base on the Arcadia vs the older Yamato stands, as I had potential tipping issues when holding up a fully decked out 1/48 strike valk. I don't use the launch arm claw thingy at all because it's upside down from what was in the movie. I just like having as little of the stand showing as possible when the valk is "flying"

    I had to order from 3 different sites because of they all limit to 3, but at least they all offer slow boat shipping. Amazon's shipping price is okay if you order 3 and it's DHL, but 6800 is above retail, so F that.

    With Yeti still gone, the next best stands are the Arcadia launch arm stands... so I ordered 9 more of them.

    You have more shopping options if you lived in Japan, but it's not like you can just walk into any random store and find shelves of (DX) valkyries, at least not in a big city like Tokyo. It's pretty much reserve as soon as reservations start or you're SOL. I did manage to snag a Hikaru 1S on release day in Tokyo, but that was plain dumb luck.

    Bandai really sucked the enjoyment out of this hobby.

    Agreed. Ron Jones' score really elevated a lot of scenes in those early (mostly awful) days of TNG. His firing from the show stands as one of Rick Berman's worst decisions, which is saying something.

    Did Bandai actually fix anything or is this just the RNG at work? No, your cousin's best friend's mom's copy having a good tab fit doesn't cut it. Did Bandai actually announce any fixes?

    Agreed. That giant "family crest" style emblem looks like it belongs on the back of a VF-31, not something from the SDFM era of valks. Was on the fence on this one because it looks like a downgrade from my Yamato and I didn't want to pay that AE markup... then my friend in Japan texted me telling me he preordered one for me. I had forgotten that I had asked if he could also order me a copy of every TWE DX release whenever he ordered his.
