How do you guys track from AE? All I get is the Sagawa Express page which says the plane left Haneda Airport last week. I basically don't know where it is till Fedex is on my doorstep.

Went ahead and put in an order for the 171 armor parts at Nipponyasan. I figured how can they run short on a Tamashii web exclusive? Just order enough to fill your preorders, plus some extras...

So everyone who's preordered from Nipponyasan has gotten their stuff, right? No one's gotten BBTS'ed with them? Asking since I'm considering putting in a 171 armor set preorder with them.

Does the mass production version of the VF-171 use the same color armor packs as Alto's custom? I kinda don't want to have to buy a second armor set later on down the line if Bandai releases a blue mass production VF-171... But then again, the wings would be the wrong color. Dammit!

Got my AE shipping notice about an hour after sending payment. Also placed an order at Hobby Search while it was up. Now HLJ needs to come back up so I can cancel with them.

Her English seemed heavily scripted/rehearsed to me. This is not to disparage her. Quite the opposite, in fact. English is not her native tongue, and English is such a stupid and difficult and nonsensical language anyway that I appreciate the great effort she's put into communicating with her English-speaking fans. To put it in perspective, imagine one of you non-Japanese speaking folks trying to learn to say everything she said, but in proper Japanese. -

I'm the opposite; don't really care much for the 29's Gundam-ish battroid and prefer fighter, despite the garish paint scheme... which detracts from the appearance in all modes. I've already remarked on how the parts don't fit as well as the renewals. Those shoulders pop out way too easily. Getting the arms tucked underneath with the shoulders still on was the most irritating part of the transformation. I don't think I'm going to bother transforming it again after that.

There's only one super pack set for the YF-29.

Got around to putting the YF-29 super parts on... and then promptly took them off. They're just too much. Unlike the VF-1 and VF-25 super parts, these detract from the 29's look. Way too tacky.

Hey guys, I'm currently trying to take apart my YF-29 toy so I can do some detail work on it. I was disassembling the front fuselage but reached a point where the screws are exposed but inaccessible with a screwdriver. There has to be a way to get to them, since they of course did it at the factory. Anyone know how to get at them? I've attached some pics showing which screws Im talking about. There's 4 screws, two on each inner side.
