  1. Bought another one to use with the TV color super parts I got. Guess I can put the extra Hikaru figure from the GBP set to good use too.
  2. A tiny bit of blue tack on the seat or pilot's rear end will keep them in place when whooshing around. I mean really tiny; almost microscopic is all that's really needed. I've had to blue tack pilots for the VF-4, VF-0D, and VF-19s to keep them from tossing around the cockpit.
  3. Yes, that's why I'm into a show about giant space aliens and jets that transform into robots: the realism! I'd also like to add that "boring" and "low-vis" are not the same thing, as I've seen some great low-vis schemes. I also don't consider the VF-4G to be "low-vis" because, come on, look at that thing. It's barely one step removed from being white.
  4. Bleh! I'm in for a couple more units, but they're all going to be repainted to something less bland. I think only the VF-11C surpasses this level of dullness.
  5. They've trained us well. Even I feel compelled to get another one at that price and the last thing I need is yet another YF-29.
  6. VF-4 OMG!!! Even though I customized mine into an FB2012-ish scheme with my limited skills and resources way back when, I would absolutely love a proper FB2012 version!! I'll even happily pay current VF-0 prices for it!

3 from Amiami, 3 from CD Japan. Think I'm good now.

It's usually 4 pm Japan time for Amiami with other online retailers popping up shortly afterwards.
  9. If money is a big factor, I'd try and grab the more recent releases that are still floating around so you can get them close to their retail price. There was a link posted just yesterday to HLJ with additional VF-19 Advance stock (now sold out, unfortunately). Looking at your list, I'd say Isamu's VF-19 or Rod's YF-29. The ones that have been out of production for awhile are generally going to be well above retail, and they'll still be above retail in a few weeks or months. Only exception would be Brera's VF-27; I've been able to find those at around its original retail price, so that might be a good choice too. But honestly, it comes down to which you like best. Five of your choices are YF-29s, and they're all the same aside from paint schemes and a different head unit, so it really does come down to personal preference and what you can afford. If I was in your shoes, I'd get the VF-19. As far as Frontier valkyries go, it's a beautiful and unique unit, especially if you don't have a YF-19 already.
  10. I have the Soul of Chogokin Yamato (2199 version) and it's pretty sweet. But it's a non-transforming ship. The only transforming ship I have from Bandai is the Macross Quarter, and it sucks. I shudder to think of Bandai releasing an SDF-1 where you need separate stands to hold up the Daedalus and Prometheus because the arms are floppier than an old man who's lost his bottle of Viagra.
  11. At first I thought you said it was missing the pilot. I think the Macross Quarter looks spectacular, but it's also a spectacularly lousy toy that cannot hold its own limbs up in any mode. Bandai knew this and included multiple stands to hold its arms up, which I found to be incredibly lame. Mine's boxed up and stowed away somewhere. It's the same reason I ended up selling my Armored Klan, though I may have to re-purchase her now that there's a Yeti adapter...
  12. Looks nice. I'll probably get one. Hope the arms aren't droopy on the final version. What is this, Bandai's Macross Quarter?
  13. 3: Yes, but I am unhappy with the pricing and/or the general direction of Arcadia and I think I've developed Stockholm syndrome.
  14. I saw that Jungle had a Yamato Queadluun-Rau first release edition listed. Never bought from them before, so decided to give them a shot. It's condition B. Here's hoping nothing is broken or damaged.
  15. Hmmm do I really need a 4th one?
  16. Ranka in a wedding dress? Every anime figure I've ever purchased has been but a prelude to this!
  17. If by "cohesive" you mean "The Macross Saga and all that other stuff not even Robotech fans care about" then sure.
  18. Love the way the SV-51 looks but yeah they're kind of floppy messes. I'll cross my fingers and hope Arcadia releases a new version!
  19. Nice score! The 11C is one of the most highly sought after valks that no one wanted.
  20. Whaaa? You don't like the VF-17? I'll have you know that real fighters have curves!
  21. "Yamota" sounds like some knock-off brand. Still, I'd rather have an old V1 Yamato than anything from Toynami. Like others have said, you definitely want the newer V2 Yamato toys, but it's not going to be cheap getting them.
  22. Thanks! I love the way they look all together! More new arrivals! Really wish I had gotten more of these when Yamato was still producing them!
