  1. Someone writing long-winded whining posts about a product that he won't buy and making up problems that said product has never had and then complaining about other people allegedly whining about his whining... Good stuff. Keep it coming!
  2. Why I'm holding on to my 1/60 destroids till all the HMR destroids are actually released. Bandai does not tolerate failure. https://youtu.be/jLaCqrisEac?t=22s
  3. Transformed my 0A back to fighter mode. While I was at it, I twisted the leg around and pulled it in and out a number of times. No problems. Got lucky and didn't get a bum leg. If we use the poll as a representative sample size, then about 1 in 10 0Ds have broken a leg, and a ridiculous 1 in 4 0As have lost a leg. While a minority in both cases, that is still shockingly high. I don't want to see double digit failure percentages in a toy this expensive. Reconsidering my 0S preorder now...
  4. Oh I wasn't going to intentionally try to rip it out lol Just rotate it around some, pull the legs in and out... The kind of stress I would expect it to sustain from transforming and posing.
  5. Even a cursory glance at the anecdotes will show that the poll is not accurate. Poll isn't much use if few people bother voting.
  6. The cockpit is one of the areas I was not really afraid of scratching.
  7. When I get home later, I'm going to transform my 0A back to fighter and really twist and pull the legs around mid-transformation to see if I can't get it to pop off. They're perfectly fine atm. Ultimately, I'd like to know if this is a widespread issue or just a few isolated cases. Those that have had the leg pop off are of course rightfully upset that such an expensive toy would break like that, but the plural of "anecdote" is not "data." Well, here's hoping that mine won't break off!
  8. Yeah, screw Arcadia! Bandai never has and never will cut corners on any release!

    Wow those hands look huge!
  10. Although mine is okay for the moment, I fear it's just a time bomb waiting to detonate. Time to open up my 0D and check it out.
  11. I never, ever thought I would buy one of these, but here we are. Think I'll detail it up but skip the weathering and instead give it a gloss finish. Really make it look like a show plane!
  12. My 0A's legs didn't pop off when I pulled them out. Guess that means I need to hit the gym.
  13. Transformed my 0A. No broken legs... yet. Haven't tried pulling the legs out. Right elbow is pretty loose though. Can't hold up the gunpod. Lame. Why would you paint the surfaces of the wings that will scrape together when tucked away in battroid?
  14. Oh my god that YF-19 Advance looks sick! Makes the Bandai version look like the Yamato version!
  15. Yep they fold down when armored. Wait, does this mean you never bought any armored parts for yourself? *gasp*
  16. Pretty sure the risk of death or dismemberment is pretty low from faulty VF-0 legs.
  17. Crap, I'm just outside the 10 days since I received it. Damn myself also for being busy. I haven't transformed mine yet but it looks like I'll have to break out the surgical kit for this one. That's so incredibly lame for such an expensive toy.
  18. While I do like the way it looks, I don't like having so many painted parts on a transforming toy, since more paint = more visible scratches. I already scratched the paint a little on one of the rear landing gear doors, since Arcadia decided to make the doors completely flush with no way for someone without an Ant man suit to easily pull it open.
  19. The nose is molded in dark grey plastic. The mold seams were pretty hideous on mine, and I had to putty and sand it down because of gashes from where it was cut. Yes it will scratch when transforming to battroid. I have avoided transforming mine since repainting it.
  20. It's the best TV SDF-1 toy by default! https://youtu.be/RhvIISDoarU
  21. No PPB effect part? This is an outrage!

Finally got around to attaching the GBP parts to my 1J. I have to say it looks fantastic once it's all decked out. Like having a miniature version of the Arcadia GBP. I even like the colored navigational lights on the legs. Thinking about getting some clear blue and red paint and doing the same to my Arcadia GBP. My only gripe is the droopy backpack. The added weight from the GBP boosters does not help. Really, Bandai? No locking mechanism at all? Held up by just friction and hope?
