I'm pretty sure us old farts who grew up with the original Macross are not the target audience for Delta (or really a lot of anime in general these days). But then I don't really need to be a fan of the show to enjoy the different valk designs. *coughMacross7cough*

That's exactly what I'm going to do. Though if they exclude the extra armaments and sell a weathered version for about the same price as the regular edition, that would be great for those without the time or inclination to do it themselves. Not likely to happen though.

The sign says 1/20 scale Lynn Minmay DYRL version, which would be a tiny figure. But under that it says 1/20 scale VF-1A/S Ichijo Hikaru, which would be a ginormous valk.

I could have probably finished 3 or 4 Hasegawa kits in the time it took me to do 1 Bandai kit. Wish Hasegawa had the Frontier license back then!

They are, but there's not a huge size difference when going from 1/72 to 1/60, especially when most of the decals are of small markings that are mostly illegible at either scale.

Haha true enough. Those were taken with my old phone. Will get some other modes using my new phone later. I wish I could lol The Bandai Frontier kits from a few years back more or less killed any inclination I had towards model building. If you mean the stickers it came with, then no. I bummed a bunch of decals off the Hasegawa kit, and used a few homemade decals I created by scanning the sticker sheet and reprinting them onto decal paper. Go get one! You know you want it! Really, I think the 0S is Arcadia's best release to date, not counting reissues of Yamato releases. Thanks guys. I'll get some more pics in other modes later. Now I want to play with my Hulkbuster.

I own multiples of both. I like both. Neither are perfect. Bandai's does have the dubious honor of being the only valk I've wanted to hurl at the wall.

Oh so you have to assemble and paint them? Nuts to that. Thought they were like small scale non-transforming display pieces.

Received a number of items over the last few weeks, but I've been really looking forward to getting this.
