The Super Dimension Cinderella Ranka and blue (or red) concert uniform Sheryl are probably the best renditions of those characters, IMO. Both were produced by Megahouse. You can still get them on Mandarake for 4 or 5k yen.
  2. Turpenoid works really well. It won't damage plastic but will strip paint and printing really easily. I use it to remove things like those pesky 1994 BIG WEST markings. Just take care not to get any on painted surfaces you don't want to strip (better to just put some masking tape around those areas).

Come on guys, it's not like any of those dolls will come to life in the middle of the night and murder you.
  4. Completely different and redesigned from the ground up from the old Yamato YF-19 (both of them).
  5. Yup! Price + shipping was less than the HLJ price, so it forced my hand early. Was originally going to just get one with my VF-4 orders next month from them.
  6. Broke down and picked up another 0S. She's just too lovely to have only one.

Trained like a bunch of circus seals, Bandai has us.
  8. No way Kakizaki is that good.
  9. So I happened to click on the AmiAmi SDF-1 link and saw some newer pics (new to me at least) and wow it looks lame. Every single pic has stands holding up the arms and even cruiser mode is saggy in the middle. What is this, the Macross Quarter? http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-014860&page=rt_02
  10. HLJ still hasn't shipped my 0S kits either and it's been a few days since I ordered them. I imagine they have a huge backlog after their holiday break.
  11. What happened to that 0S's yellow shoulder piece?
  12. Looks like a hastily assembled Bandai HG model kit without paint or stickers.

2 from HS. That was painless.
  14. I am but I prefer to draw all the lines in by hand, and only use washes for certain details. The lines are about the same in depth as the VF-1.

Only question now is how many to get! Though at this price probably no more than two.
  16. I would buy decals for every valk that I own if they did that.
  17. What is causing the heat shield to scratch the canopy and can it be fixed or removed? You can have the kit for free if you just want the rest of the kit with no decals.

    Bandai DX VF-31

So I took the time to actually watch Delta and, uh, I'm probably just going to pull a Macross 7 and buy all the valks while ignoring the show.
  19. Looks good David. Guess I should go back and finish polishing mine. I stuck masking tape on my 0S canopy before I transformed it to battroid.
  20. Thank for the pic! It looks like the decals are close enough in size that I think it'll pass scrutiny for all but the most picky eyes. I took mine from a VF-1 kit. It was only slightly smaller than the Arcadia sticker so I went with it. But now I'm going to order some VF-0 kits! What's another $18.50 indeed! Oh damn that happened to me too. Figured I was just being too careless. That sucks. I was able to almost completely buff mine out with some Tamiya polishing compound.
  21. What happened to your 0A? I haven't had any issues applying decals to any Yamato/Arcadia valks so far. I always use Mr Mark Setter when applying decals. I'm quite lazy and stingy with materials so I often take shortcuts. Like on the VF-1 I did all the panel lining, decaling, and weathering straight onto the bare plastic before applying any clear coating. Doing the same with the 0S. I'm curious about the size difference between the Hasegawa 0S decals and the Arcadia stickers. If there's only a small difference in size, I might pick up a few Hasegawa kits just to get the decals.
  22. Beautiful shots, Saburo! Time to order a second one.
