I have to disagree here. I've had my for over a week now and I've had no problems what so ever. The paint is crisp, and all the joints are tight on my copy.

Is it the best figure out, no but for $130 I think it was awesome and worth it. With figures like this everyone  will have different experiences. I've seen people spend more and get a lot less. I say if your a fan of the strike you should check it out.

How can you disagree? Are you saying he is confused and his joints are actually tight and the paint apps are good?

You got a good copy. He got a bad copy. You can't claim it's a good figure. He can't clain it's a bad one. The only claim that can be made is their QC sucks and getting one is a lottery.

  2. Can someone help me out with the Aoshima 1/48 Airwolf options? I'm having a hard time decoding what color is what. Does anyone know what color this one is and how it compares to the show color? Thanks!:hi:

Nice! I have a soft spot for the vintage skull logo. Are there any aftermarket options for the red shield and replica stickers?

There was a guy on FB selling them/ @DYRL VF-1S is probably going to be your best bet of finding him.

The British media at the time of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics also ran stories of how the skies would be patrolled by Blue Thunder "style" "gunships", using images of the helicopter to illustrate the stories.

It's nice to know the media being fear mongering and untrustworthy is nothing new.

It's too plain for my liking; there's nothing delineating this as a Batmobile; it could just as well be a car from Fast and Furious. Granted, I'm glad they didn't go to Schumacher extremes; he went just a little overboard with all the neon and flashy lights. 🤮  I wish there was more to the Pattinson-mobile, aesthetically, than just a black muscle car with good ground clearance. Kinda boring as Batmobiles go, and the Batmobile is always going to be a star in its own right in a Batman production, be it animated or live action.  I believe modern expectations are that any new Batmobile design is going to bring something new and unique to what has really become a genre unto itself. This one is unique, but misses the mark for me. Maybe I'll change my mind after seeing the film, but right now, with toys and such already becoming available, it lacks that impact and appeal I was hoping for. :(

I was assuming that it was supposed to represent an early Batmobile design. Something that wouldn't be too far away from a regular car. A hot rod if you will.

  6. I got a 1:18 Tumbler to replace the Jada Toys 1:24 that I have (all my other stuff is 1:18). I'm a bit underwhelmed. @tekering warned me. It's slightly undersized. It's nice though.

The Delorean is fantastic though! Love it!

    Not bad for Hotwheels.

I had to put a limit on this 1:18 stuff. And that is at 24 cars. That fills up the cabinet they're in currently. And I need some sort of control over this. Or it will get out of control!:D

That sux! I’m not close to the 6 month mark from when I placed my order but I think it’s ridiculous that it’s been 2 weeks of “preparation in progress” with no updates. A voucher is not acceptable. Should be a full refund.

If you do a chargeback through PayPal it's a full refund.:D

Huh, I knew they did it with the MG, wasn't aware on the PG.

Going based entirely on photos, it does look like the PG "Narrative" is a much more yellow gold color, while the older one isn't nearly as yellow.

I suppose I could grab a narrative version and do a comparison, I got my OG kit back near the first release.

[edit] Looks like there's an OG version on Ebay for $636: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124874887886

Yup same here. I got the first edition and bought the expansion tails for the first edition when they released the NT version.

The non-NT release (first) was not as 'goldy'. Essentially it was one layer or less clear orange used when they plated/painted it. The NT release (second) is the 'goldy' version.

IMO the second release is the one to get just because it's so over the top. I'm personally not interested in having one with my space constraints though.:(

The GFFMC version of the unicorn where early models in the GFFMC line.  Most of the GFFMC line suffered from weak joints , hands that didnt stay in place and general QC inconsistencies, quality wasnt  really fixed until the GFFMC Wing gundam came out. I bought the first GFFMC unicorn build and Final Battle version. I kept the final battle version
because the colors on it are awesome but it lives in the box due to poor posability.

I hope that if the Metal Build line launches one that it will have far better quality than the GFFMC line did.

Also Im quoting this because I want to see you bite a Metal Build Unicorn

I bought one of those GFFMC Unicorns. Ack, it was junk! On top of that the sculpt just looked.......wrong. I sold it off right away.

It would be nice to see a MB. I'm guessing they haven't done one because it would take a different frame??? And maybe the Unicorn just isn't that popular. I'm a Gundam noob to the extreme so again, talking out of my butt. I'd guess that the old school Gundam fans are not that into the Unicorn.:unknw: And the old school Gundam fans are the ones with the money.
