I'm looking around for other display options that won't break the bank.
Good luck with that!
I absolutely love my cabinets. They were pretty stupid money before COVID. Now they're just plain silly.
If I had to start from scratch and took everything into consideration. Size, flexibility, lighting, ability to customize, etc I would absolutely go Moducase. Keep in mind they can do custom sizes for you. That's a HUGE advantage if you need it. Most of their stuff is too deep to effectively display/maximize wall space for Macross stuff. Not all though. And they do have the custom option. Their lighting options are really what sells me. There is no way you can do something that clean, invisible and tied together yourself unless you're actually building the cases. Moducase has the best size/quality/flexibility/lighting factor of anything out there by a pretty big margin. I've gone full nerd and done the cost per usable cubic inch of display/$$ calculation on just about everything out there.
Their Sixth series stuff has the best depth IMO.

I have to objectively agree. The best DX 1/48 so far. And will probably not be out done.
I do love my Roy's though. Nostalgia.

Perfect Grade Perfect Strike.
This thing is nuts. Sooooooooo much stuff going on. Very cool mode. Fiddly and very fragile though. And HUGE. Posed like this it’s 21” tall, 15.5” wide and 13.5” deep. I need to do some serious moving around so to get it in a case with good lighting. I feel horrible having it out in the “atmosphere”. It’s too nice.
Sorry for the crappy lit pics. It needs light to see all the paint details. I don’t have anything with enough light that is big enough right now. And I’m worn out from putting this thing together and posing it.

Is it worth getting? Should I wait for an official Bandai release?
I like mine a lot. Worth it.

It's always a good idea to get two.

If you missed metal build Sinaju. Or more like me and like flat colors rather than glossy here you go. $177 shipped from Gundamit.com

Bummer. I have the glossy one and I'd rather have this. But I'm not buying another.

Netflix has a weird way of doing things considering no one really understands how they judge viewership. Season 2 may yet happen.
Netflix is based mostly on attracting new subscribers. In general they're more likely to throw money behind a new series than extend an old one. I read a big thing on this the other day. If I could remember where I would link it.
Their membership "game" is the same as a gym. Get people to sign up knowing that a majority of them will do it for a while then stop coming. But most don't cancel their memberships for some time. It's all about attracting new membership with shiny things.
Of course this is not a rule. Just the overall trend.

That's a massive bummer.
That will be the second Japan only SDF-1 I'm never going to see right @tekering?. Poke, poke (had to take the shot, I'm feeling like a troublemaker today).

For the Dexter fans out there........They started the show back up. I think there are three episodes out so far. I'm really enjoying it. It's the same ol Dexter, but not. It's a nice advancement on the story of Dexter Morgan.

Thats the thing with BBTS , patience. Ive gotten a few things from them previously and while they deliver a good product , they are usually a couple months behind the release date similar to P Bandai. They are a usually a good option as long as they dont gouge like they are doing with GFFMC Wing
With the ship backup off CA it's going to be longer now. I've got a ton of BBTS orders that are REALLY late. I'm not stressing. It is what it is.

Personally, I'm still holding out hope for a ghost booster bundle of the 0A or 0S (they do have those adapters, after all). But I've been waiting for... a long time.
I've got Yamato Ghost's on mine. They don't fit perfect, but they fit enough......as long as you're not swooshing.

How many things have you ordered from them have had less than a minute sell-out times across all other websites?
I think it's three or four. I haven't been buying from them long. They're my go to sop for Macross stuff now. I can get my order in before PO night and not have to worry about it. Yeah, I pay a markup. WORTH IT.
That said, after the NY garbage I NEVER let my ability to chargeback expire at any shop.

I thought the gate incident was covered well enough in the anime. It was done in the background intentionally, since by the time the series takes place, the event is too far inti the past & world too damaged from the aftermath for there to be much care when the mystery is unraveled.
I like history.

Because they took pre-orders for the Hayate for so long there's no telling if they'll get what they order from Bandai.
They do the same thing with every release. I've gotten all of my stuff from them lately without fail.

Short of Destroids and enemy mech I don't see ThreeZero doing anything that I myself am going to want unless they step way outside of the box the operate in now. I guess we'll see.
