I love the music after Alto saves Ranka and they land and meet. He then goes into the city and views the destruction then sickens up. 9 minutes in It has an irish or celtic feel to it...but with japanese flats and overtones...beautiful

The more i think about it Devil or Demon makes sense...seeing as it not only goes with messiah...but the Wings...horn shapes on its head and wing shapes on its back are very devlish..even the color. so ill stick with VF-27 Devil or Demon if it gets a name at all

"YOU..." something about the way she said it just sounded more like "you seem familiar in some way but i dont know who you are" i do.....im willing to bet hes family...or at least a survivor from Rankas fleet. Im feeling the Vajra arent simply about kill...but theres also capturing and subjegating them too. Remember they took Luca and it didnt seem they had killing on their mind when Alto found him. bleh...a whole week to go oh and just a quick edit: To earlier comments that he has zentradi ears and looks different....though thats true we still have no clue whats going on from the Vajra. He has some markings and a an odd look that look to be some kind of modification of some sort. Perhaps people being turned into fighters...or a project that went wrong. Oh and isnt Ranka 1/4 zentran? -
well i can make anything in Maya or Zbrush...just gotta know what the engine can handle so i dont go overboard

Ive tried the search engine etc, but i dont remember even the slightest bit what the title was. I tried searching lots of different things and even went page by page through the forums. I tried looking through areasevens posts thinking he might have posted something on it. Anyway the artwork was very nice and the story itself was a very down to earth story ie no robots or mages or catgirls. I believe it had an english title and i remember some of the scenes involved rainy days and a bicycle...and a picture for the show had a couple standing together and a fisheye kind of lens effect of the sky around them i know thats kind of general but if anyone recollects anything. Most importantly alot of people were saying that the art and story were very nice...thanks

Yes ill take all of them thank you

I used to play EQ back when that was basically your choice for mmo's. Pretty much everything since has been without challenge. I plyed for about 4 years , 3 of those in a hardcore raiding guild. I still have my soe all access account so i can pop in now and then and say hi. I also have top level EQ2 and Vanguard characters. Id say out of the most i play vanguard just because of its open endedness and all thethings you can do in it. Yea its still buggy and incomplete and its has its issues, but its the one i find most fun playing. Ive never cared for crafting before in a game and this is the first one ive ever gone as far as i have in it. I dont play much online games anymore, concentrating more on school and other things. I crossed that line where partaking in something isnt as interesting as creating things for other to partake in, and thats what has happened with me and games to a large degree. Id rather be making em, so im focusing on school. I played wow once for a few days and i sneezed , turned around and i was suddenly ten levels higher. Seriously i dont think anyone who played the original EQ for a long period of time when it came out can ever find another mmo difficult. I cant see any company taking the risk to make a game as hard as EQ1 was early on. Vangaurd was supposed to be , but they watered that down too. Not that i have any problem with casual playing styles, ive always been more into casual playing, especially now. Its just sad there isnt really a game with the diffculty level that some of the raid bosses had in eq1. That crowd exists out there , and enough to support a game at a healthy level but as long as companies see the easy market and see wow pull in 10 million people, well they will go for the cash cow but since wow already does what it does in a very good way, they will always be second banana. I wonder if there will ever be a game that lets you raid with more then 24 people. I remember fighting the avatar of war in eq, raids of 70-80 were being wiped out by that thing when the velious expansion came out. I think part of most modern mmo's when it comes to strategies is that battle takes place in such a locked manner that there is little physical strategy and it all comes down to whose pressing what button as opposed to where people are standing, how something is pulled, whose kiting what, who is offtanking, tagging etc etc . Most of these games dont even allow things like kiting or tagging anymore. -
just shortly after macross world stared i was searching around looking to see what kind of models were available for the macross universe as i had just started modeling and could only find the old 1/100's. I came upon macrossworlds models section and the rest is history. of course this was before hasegawa entered the scene..

HMMM my teacher designed some of the darkseekers and i was playing around with one of them in maya about 6 months back. They were done very nicely , i think one of the issues i see though is the lighting on them. some of the lighting seemed off giving them a plasticky look.

new weta bust from spiderman 3

In a recent interview sam raimi said he wanted venom to be more like an evil doppleganger to spiderman thus the reason hes not huge like he was in the comics. True i would have liked to have seen the giant scary venom of the comics but i think this works too. I think venom will return as the main baddy in spiderman 4 if they make it...and i think the symbiote will have enchanced brock alot more in that one. I dont think venom is going to get alot of time in this movie and sandman will be the main bad guy. I suspect hes going to be near the end of the film , allowing significant time for peter to wear his black suit and have his inner turmoils. If that goes too fast and he doesnt get enough time to allow the evil in the symbiote to posess him its going to feel too rushed. Remember he wore that thing for a looong time in the comics. I hope brocks vendetta against spiderman eclipses " he ruined my career" which i dont think would make him bad enough on screen.

Excillon if your going to quote someone make sure you dont hype it up and add a bunch of expletives to it to make it sound more dynamic. What he said wasnt nice but it went more like this .. So lets get this whole "ripped" off thing out of the way, because lets face it , its something people say in order to gain a bit of credibility that somehow the music they listen to is the "real deal". I enjoy alot of the music you mentioned but theres no one mentioned there who didnt rip off someone or wasnt highly influenced from someone. Ministry were a dark new wave band until they got into some heavier music and decided they were going to be heavier too. I love skinny Puppy and Throbbing Gristle who came before them. The point is trent hasnt ripped off anyone. WHen you rip someone off you try and hide the fact you ripped them off, you dont mention in every article written about you where every song came from and what influenced it. You know why you think down in it was a rip off of Digg it? Because trent reznor has said in about 200 interviews thats where he got the song from. Of course without him saying that i doubt anyone would find many simialrities they are very different with the exception of the title. The opening from closer is from iggy pops nightclubbing, also mention in a billion and a half articles...as is his love for minsitry and skinny puppy. Nah people are just bitter that he became famous off of something that was once sacred ( massive eye roll) and "underground" Theres no sound that hasnt been done before...so the whole "this is unoriginal" is a joke to me , ive heard it all. I only care if you take whats available and do something good with it. After 10 listens i absolutely love Year Zero , its grown on me alot. I dont care about whats "hoakey " or not , im not flakey enough to honestly believe that things like that matter. The two bands ive been giving alot of time to right now are camera obscura and asobi seksu. They do nothing original...the first sounds like 60s girl pop meets 90s britpop with some velvet underground thrown in. The latter does nothing My Bloody Valentine and Lush werent doing in the late 80s early 90s,,,but god they do it absolutely beautifully and thier new album hasnt come out of a listening device since it arrived last year. Oh and tell mr jourgensan im going to see morrissey in vegas in june, because his shows are wonderful.

I think you misunderstand what i mean by pop. I love pop music...its just that the name seems to imply something else these days....pop isnt and has never been a genre. Most nin songs have a catchy verse and chorus underneath all of them, though the songs themselves arent always set up in a standard pop format. If you can remember teh song and find yoruself singing it chances are its pop music. If its the sound of someone repeatedly beating a toaster with a baseball bat for 6 hours ( throbbing gristle) its probably moved far out of the realm of pop music. Pop needs to stop having such a nasty connotation in america..its really not liek that in other countries ive been to.

Trents nver said he made industrial music , he was inspired by alot of it but hes always hated the label as it was too confining. But nin has always had its deepest roots in post punk pop music anyway. Theres more depeche mode then nitzer ebb in nin anyway ( thats a good thing). Though plenty of those bands are good ( especially SP) have any of them really done anything new or interesting ( within themselves) for years? I think skinny puppy have evolved and changed by leaps as a byproduct of losing a member but the other bands...i mean cmon. Ministry have been barking up the same tree for 17 years now. I think many people who listen to "industrial" have always been pissed because nin took the sound to the masses. I dont know, i just like music if theres at least some feeling behind it and theres an effort to display that feeling...ie if it moves me in anyway. I dont really care what way is made to acheive that sound. I was a nin fan and a fan ofof some of those bands before tds and i remain a fan now. Its funny i remember when tds came out how there was a big anti nin from people who had been fans for so long. They claimed he had gone all poppy and mainstream which i always found hilarious since PHM was the most pop sounding album he has ever done, where tds though like all his stuff had a pop setup , was much more dissjointed and progressive( though i hate using that word). Though i wasnt a huge fan of the fragile it had its moments and i thought wt always had alot of great tracks, i thought trent had become too sunk into the industry to really do what he once did. This album changes that as far as im concerned. I love it , its not as dark wave as PHM but it has a great groove to it and theres some new directions and suprises that really makes an imprint..i think the almost motownish chorus hidden behind the fuzz is spectacular in zero sum and id really like to see him move in that direction in the second part. I also like the theme. People are so uppity about anyone being political these days , Its pretty sad people feel that way ( avoid all exchanges of ideas at all costs) But all of that is nil to the point anyway, all i ever hear is , having any politics in music is a mistake or shouldnt be done , but i only ever hear that in this country. Politics aside , whats music anymore then the vocalization of your , dreams , hopes fears , beliefs etc. It kind of irks me when people say dont add any politics into music its liek saying " dont sing about what you think or feel" Of course this album is only somewhat political anyway, Caital G is probably the only real song that resonates in that area the most is a science fiction 1984 "what could happen if we are not careful" storyline . Its a fun one too. I think it a great new direction and hopefully gives him a chance to expand into other areas too. I remember in an interview long ago he said when NIN is done he will most likely create movie soundtracks or soundtracks for other projects ( games)...looks like hes on his way.
