Definitely a pleasant surprise. Also the found a way to hide that ugly hip block in fighter mode. Wish that thought of that when they made the YF-19.

Got my Monster on Friday. Paid through the nose for shipping via FedEx. Was the cheapest option when I pre-ordered from PlazaJapan. Posted an unboxing video to YT.

Same here as well. My guess is that they couldn't fulfill every preorder with the first run. Hoping that a second run will be done soon. Agree here as well. Would have been nice if the legs were slimmer. I don't think anyone had any issues with the DX Chogokin being skinner than the line art. Also, disappointed with the grey block, too. I poured over all the images when news first came out to see if there was something missing. I guess beggars can't be choosers.

Nice! I'm a little surprised that the Drakken III is roughly the same size as the Nightmare. Thanks for the post!

Bandai Macross Δ Mecha Collection Small Scale Plastic Model Kits
chaos77 replied to IXTL's topic in Model kits
Thanks guys. This kit is 8.5 cm long. Yes, I too wish these kits were 1/100 scale or even 1/144 scale as a matter of fact. I can't justify paying over $30 for the Tomytec "models". -

I'll just put this right here. It took me way too long, but I think it was worth it. -

I wonder if it's a completely transformable valkyrie if you remove the girl figure. Kinda doubt it. Maybe it's a female figure you can add to Bandai's 1/72 scale kit. Would a cross-company collaboration be implausible?

Review of Bandai's 1/144 Scale VF-11C Thunderbolt
chaos77 replied to chaos77's topic in Macross Reviews
I don't know if I'd have the courage to mod my kits like that. If I had a bunch, then maybe. I'd love to see what you did. Do you have any pictures of them? Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check out a Mandarake when they build one in the US. Maybe the next time I visit Japan. Btw. Nice job with your VF-11C's. I've been thinking about painting my kits with a different color scheme. I'll have to dig up the motivation and the time when I have the chance. -

Yeah. I regret not getting more when I had the chance. I'll have to wait till the next re-issue. -
Here's a review of the old 1/144 VF-11C from Bandai.
