Well I can't wait for S3 release over here as like I said I love the new show and am a little sad to read that it will end soon (is this correct). But I decided that I'll wait and see if this movie ever get's produced, go see it and hell might even like it who knows. IMO WB and HG can do what they like as long as it doesn't hurt Macross in anyway, the wife already thinks I'm a geek for collecting macross so a bad movie of robotech could add to ribbing for the next ten years.

Well Mr March I see you are injoying the new BSG, it's awesome isn't it, though I'm still a fan of the originals. It's a bit hard to post anything from Oz about it as it has been axed from TV over here, not a big enough fan base, so I'm left waiting on the S3 release on DVD so I'm still stuck at the end of season 2. It was strange thing in Oz as I grew up whatching the originals with my much older sisters and brother (3 sisters and 1 brother) and they all hated the new show and never whatched passed the secound or third show. I myself love the new show but the old one will always have a place in my heart. Does anyone know where I can find the old shows of when the Galactica locates earth, as faras I know there was only a few shows made before it all ended, need to see those flying bikes again and the cylons at an 80's disco, now that brings back memories. The new BSG is awesome but I must say i would have prefered a follow on rather than a remake but Iwas happy in ep10 of S2 when the Pegasus showed up as it followed the original but i prefered the way the pegasus made it's exit in the original taking on two bas stars and blasting of again into deep space (or being destroyed no one knows) and I also prefered the battle hardened Cain who was a master at battle taktics and a highly honored commander. IMO

I just can remember in SDFM Misa saying "skull and vermillion squadrons" and I always related Hikaru's 1J paint scheme with that of Max and Millia than of skull squadron. I'm just not sure.

I use a copic 0.02mm pen. They are awesome for panel lines, I used to use gudam panel line pens but found the copic to be muck better and a lot thinner. You can order them from HLJ though they seem to be backordered. http://www.hlj.com/product/TOO04187

Thanks Graham I'm of the same opinion, I don't like them white so I will be changing them as I do think it will make the finished product look much better. IMO. When it arrive's I'll have a look , but I will for certain change the colour as white just doesn't look right.

Thanks tff for the heads up on the joint colour, I guess I'll change the joint colour to black as I think it hides the big ball a little better. Well thats the impression that the HLJ pic's give. Anyway thanks again for letting me know.

I'm just about ready with the casting of the VF-0 and the local guys I know around have snapped what I planned to produce up so I'm hoping to do another run towards november to offer to MW members but things are really buisy at the moment. I'm still working through the kits I'm building for customers so I don't get a lot of time to do my own stuff and I've got to do a 1/48 (club-M I think) VF-1S to build which will take up a lot of time but I enjoy posting what I can when I can. Thanks again to 007-vf1 for letting me share his thread, maybe this will become the 1/700 thread who knows.

Thanks eugimon, the little VF-0 is a sculpt I have just done have a look in building customising and in the 1/700 ARMD tread I'm sharing it with 007-vf1. You can see pic's of it there on it's own before and after painting.

Does anyone have a close pait mix for the light blue on the YF-21 canopy, I hate using the decal. I thought I'd ceep adding to my post so here is my YF-19 with framed box art and red cedar base. I did this model in a gloss finish as to simulate when Isamu first see's the aircraft and runs his hand down the side, there is a clear refection of his hand.

Not an exciting pose but my VF-0S has a new toy. I try to give my battroids a little amusement while they sit in thier cabinet.

Wow lookin good, some really cool mods. As for colour ideas I've always liked the VF-11 in skull squadron colours but thats MO. I'm sure the colours you pick will look great.

Welcome to MW misterryno, you planning on bing another yamato addic. After you get a 1/48 you'll know what I'm saying, can't stop at one. The 1/48 will blow your mind as it really is some piece of work, but all yammies will do that IMO. I finally lashed out after a few years of looking at the toys (being a model builder) and haven't looked back, but I only collect what I need for my collection. I can't really say any more as the gentlemen here have aswered most questions but I do warn you that Yamato's are addictive....gotta love em!

That looks so cool, well another to add to the collection. Keep them comming and lets see the 11B, 19 and 21.

Well not much of an update from me but I have added some paint to the tiny VF-0S to see how they will look in a finished form. I had to hand paint all the details as it's just so small, the skulls where really hard but it looks good IMO for the size, decals would have been great but I just don't have the time at the moment plus I like a little hand painting.

That has to be the best Legioss & Tread I've seen, nice work no no great work. I really like that secound pic looks ready for action, you must be pleased with the result.

Wasn't it close to 1/60 scale even though it was said to be 1/72, can remember it was brought up in one of the yamato threads. Think it was the anniversary 1S and 19 tread but not sure.

Well that's what I'm wondering, in the HLJ pic's the ball joints are dark grey (I think or black) and in some pic's they are white. I like the look of the dark grey/black as it seems to hide the ball joint compared to the white. It's no big deal like I said just would like the heads up before mine arrives as if they are white I think I'll change it to black, just looks better IMO. But still I can't wait so if you have your's lets see some pic's.

I've had an order payed for for about a week now and still it hasn't shipped. Guess they are really buisy at the moment.

I'm still waiting on mine and it's killing me, just wish it had of been the 1S first but I've got my preorder in. I can't wait but can someone please tell me are the shoulder ball joints white or grey as I do think it makes a difference to the look. Just need to know if I should have my paints ready.
