I have to admit that I gave the 1/72 an honest chance (twice). I have been building models for many years. but they were impossible!!! particularly the legs. I mean I look at some pics of others and I keep asking myself how the hell they got them tyo stay??? DX toys: Perhaps they are not as sharp looking as the Models but man at least they stay together, I don't play with toys I only display my collection, but it seems that the kits are just holding on for dear life to stay together! 1/100 never bothered.

Also, They were Vastly out numbered when you think about it. What I do like about the original show is that they didn't show aliens as so invulnerable. they could be hurt and there numbers thinned. best stratagey in that situation is to divide and conqure as they did quite effectively; humans turnning in one another in for this or that.

Red Dawn is one of my all time Favorite movies, and get this, my first kiss to my first girl friend happened while we were watching Dirty Dancing during "she's like the wind" a song he sang. I agree with you all! when i first saw the trailer for this I instantly though OMG they made a movie about city 17. If not a Haf-life movie than some kind of spinoff of something. As my 12 year old niece is getting more and more into the SyFy channel, i think this would be a great movie to take her to go and see this weekend. Ah yes, I have trained the padawan well...that is of course until she discovers boys and no longer thinks i'm cool anymore

Ok first of all, I have to say that is some great work on the kits they look amazing! now, how the hell are you guys putting these things together! I have been building models all my life and I cannot for the life of me put these things together. I have tried on two occasions ( this is my third attempt thinking that I was rushing the other times) but no! these things are floppy the parts don't fit right and don't get me started on the frakin legs! how in the hell are you supposed to make them fit within the small-narrow spaces of the main body in fighter mode. I am giving up and I think i am about to sell the never opened kits to some lucky person here! has anybody else had these problems? Bandai makes great gundamskits but these are really frakin with me!!!!!
