  1. Make the kits low viz grey and I'll be a happy camper
  2. I'm not against new interpretations of the VF-1 mold and I'm not against bandai. I wanted to like this, but it's awful, every part of this VF-1 is off, even the fast packs are completely wrong. Had a preorder but I'm going to cancel it.
  3. Like jenius said the legs should be completely stright. This means the "extra click" from the gerwalk joint at the knees must be totally retracted . There's a small hole at the back of the joint, when it's fully retracted it dissappears into the thighs (this way the legs are straight and the knees don't overlap).
  4. Sorry, not for me. I like lineart accurate models and toys. This VF-1 looks completely wrong, it's hideous. This is the best bandai can do with the VF-1 mold? Really?
  5. Thanks for these pics, I've never seen these toys/models before.
  6. Awesome looking VF-171!!! It really looks better with the matt finish.
  7. Looks awesome!!! The shade of green is spot on! Like the subtle weathering.
  8. No I like it too!
  9. Doesn't bother me that much If you don't lock the chestplate down you barely notice it.
  10. You've described the same issues I have with the 1/48 VF-1 mold. The 1/60 v2 is superior in every aspect.
  11. Torn between VF-3000 and Nousjadeul-Ger Movie!!! N-Ger it is.
  12. Sorry if I disagree, but toynami with yamato's molds is like giving a gun to a monkey. The cyclone MPC was good because the only involvement toynami had was repackaging such product. Beagle was the company that not only designed the cyclone but also decided which factory would produce it and the materials used. We shouldn't be talking about or even mention toynami in this thread Thank god we are just speculating and toynami will never put it's hands on the VF-1 v2 and other yamato molds.
  13. Great news!!! Thank you Save!!
  14. Turned out great!!! I really like the subtle weathering.
  15. I like the new colors! Looks great so far.
  16. That's what I fear too!
  17. Now all of a sudden, all my VF-1 ver 2's will look like pieces of sh¡t compared to your custom
  18. Wow, two pages since yesterday made me believe there were more news So for the uninformed: The pic from the OP which is an annoucement from ARCADIA shows a CAD image of a 1/60 VF-1 ver 2 transformable Yamato with the 30th anniversary scheme. It is not written in the article but it strongly implies ARCADIA secured the molds from the 1/60 VF-1 ver 2 Yamato. Waiting for the official annoucement
  19. Plus: 1/60 Phalanx 1/60 Glaug 1/60 N-Ger 1/60 VF-5000 1/60 VF-3000 1/60 renewal VF-0 1/60 renewal SV-51 and many others!!!
  20. 1/60 for me please!!!
  21. I'll buy this to show some support!!
  22. Exactly, the first image from the OP (Hyper Hobby mag) is a 1/60 VF-1J ver 2. A publication showing info from Arcadia + a 1/60 ver 2 is very promising!
  23. The Dengeki Hobby VF-1 is the hasegawa model but the first picture you posted is a 1/60 VF-1 SO THERE IS HOPE!!! Look at the hook from the back pack (to use it in battroid mode), the articulated ventral fins, it's clearly a 1/60 ver 2
  24. Hope this helps! (Scans courtesy from www.mech9.com)
