Yes, if that's the rough I can't imagine how it'll look when it's finished. Looks awesome.

I'll give them the benefit of doubt. We still have to see pics of the prototype.

Congratulations!!! Turned out great!!! It's the perfect complement for the YF-21 and the YF-19.

Please God no!!! Don't even use the words DX/valk/toy and damaged arm in the same sentence.

It really is friggin epic and friggin huge, and although the HMR Regult is better (only as a playable toy), every 1/60 collection deserves one 1/60 Regult (the sculpt is beautiful and it scales just perfect with the 1/60 VF-1). I don't want to let them go but one day one of them could go to a new home, who knows?? All parts were first cleaned with warm water and soap to get rid of the mold release agent. All the little flash that was present was cut/sanded away and then the build began (the legs were puttied to get rid of the seam lines) I carefully masked all subassemblies and then I started painting it. I gave it 3/4 light coats with spray cans and after that 3 matte clear coats. Just the feet, lower and upper legs had the halves that form them glued and puttied because I didn't want any seam lines running along the legs. The rest of the kit was put together without any glue (Yamato designed an interlocking mechanism for all the parts.) It took me two and a half years to finish it because we bought a new house with my wife, then my first son was born and then we added a second story to the house (all in between). If you take the crotch armor away you can squeeze him in

You know you want it!! Thank god I was able to secure two (and EXO who helped me to get my second one)!!

I'd like to see what they could do with the YF-21 mold. It's already a great toy (much better than the old YF-19 ever was) I love the Yamato YF-21, the sculpt, fit and finish are great, even by today standards (yeah I know the feet are small). Just because I was looking through some old pics of mine, I'll give you delimiter mode VF-22:

Same here I'm in the lucky camp.

Should check my Yamato's. But DYRL valks are off white to begin with.
-
Don't like these packs. Agree they just sit on top of the fighter and are not integrated.

No, just the prototype shown before the actual release was glossy. Graham sold one of the prototypes here in the forums. The 1/60 YF-21 has a matte finish.
-
Yes it's really huge!!! The HM Regult performs better as a toy but the HDP Yamato Regult is very impossing and has greater shelf presence. I also like it's proportions better. I should start building the other one I have.

I love the Glaug, can't keep my hands off it. I'm thinking of getting another one, I need one for my office!! What a fun toy!!! In my case I'm more impressed than I was when I first handled the Regult (which is a great toy too)!! Sculpt and proportions are awesome. Superb fit and nice sattin finish. The Hi Metal Glaug feels like a yamato/arcadia macross toy (in a good way). Now I need TV/DYRL Queadluun Rau and Nousjadeul Ger.

Wow!!! Nice subtle weathering. Turned out great!!! -
Yes like mold release. The knee joints were very dirty and there was some more oil on the feet. Used baby wipes and now my Glaug is clean. The same hapened with my Yamato DYRL? VF-1A cannon fodder.

Came back from the post office, just opened my Glaug. First impression: it's big (as seen in online pics)!! It's very detailed with nice, tight and ratcheted joints. My copy is covered in oil, that oozes out from the joints

Well I have to pick mine up tomorrow at the post office. Hope I don't get charged custom fees.
