  1. The v2 VF-1 Yamato toys are light years ahead of the v1 in terms of design, sculpt, fit and finish. You should get at least one.
  2. Couldn't remember who posted the link. Thank you again!!! I'm visiting some friends in Royal Palm Beach so I took the chance and ordered the Monster. I'm carrying it back to Argentina and I won't be hit by customs so that's a plus. I had cancelled the one I preordered at HLJ. I had anoher Monster on preorder with HLJ but I cancelled it. It would have probably cost me $60/90 shipping it to Argentina (South America) and %50 custom taxes on top of that!! So yeah a great deal.
  3. Wow!!! Bought the Monster from that ebay seller ($222 + $6 shipping) this past monday and received it today!!! Thank you all for that link!!!
  4. I guess someone for sure must have acquired Houquet's prototype from Beagle. Arcadia must pick that mold and release it!!! Damn we were so close, only Stick and Rei were released!!!! It's a war crime against humanity, must complete the whole team!!!!
  5. .22 or .32??
  6. LMAO, it is a great review!!! Some of the youtube comments are retarded but yeah it's the internet and everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Caught the attention of my wife as she was just passing by and asked what the h... I was watching??? She also thinks the review is great and she now knows the next toy that will invade our house!!!
  7. Only stickers that have curled off are from my version 1 VF-1A Hikaru. After that one, all of my yamato/arcadia valks have had no issues.
  8. 40, so yeah, basically 6 feet under.
  9. Thanks for the pics!!! It's a true monster toy but next to the Glaug the scale bothers me Guess I won't be displaying the Glaug and the Monster together. It would exacerbate my OCD.
  10. I guess I'm the only one really bothered by the scale of the Monster. Don't get me wrong, it's a great toy and I can't wait to get my hands on it (hurry up HLJ!!!). But comparing the Monster's cockpit with the VF-1 cockpit and the size of the seats, the Monster is on the small side. Even by the group comparison lineart pic it should be bigger. But we finnally get a great toy with a great sculpt!!!
  11. Yes I'm comparing the prototype with my CM's and there are a lot of similarities. Aesthetics aside the CM's is very well built, but it lacks tabs to keep it locked in fighter mode. But yes it has CM's written all over it which is a good thing in my book.
  12. Turned out great!!! I like that scheme a lot.
  13. Looks good so far. We need to see more pics from different angles to get more details of Evolution's approach. Thanks for keeping us informed Save!!
  14. Beautiful curves and lines!!!
  15. Thanks for the pic!!! Now where is the preorder button???
  16. OMG. That's a new level of awesome.
  17. It really is a big improvement!! Looks great now.
  18. Yes, if that's the rough I can't imagine how it'll look when it's finished. Looks awesome.
  19. I'll give them the benefit of doubt. We still have to see pics of the prototype.
  20. Congratulations!!! Turned out great!!! It's the perfect complement for the YF-21 and the YF-19.
  21. Please God no!!! Don't even use the words DX/valk/toy and damaged arm in the same sentence.
  22. It really is friggin epic and friggin huge, and although the HMR Regult is better (only as a playable toy), every 1/60 collection deserves one 1/60 Regult (the sculpt is beautiful and it scales just perfect with the 1/60 VF-1). I don't want to let them go but one day one of them could go to a new home, who knows?? All parts were first cleaned with warm water and soap to get rid of the mold release agent. All the little flash that was present was cut/sanded away and then the build began (the legs were puttied to get rid of the seam lines) I carefully masked all subassemblies and then I started painting it. I gave it 3/4 light coats with spray cans and after that 3 matte clear coats. Just the feet, lower and upper legs had the halves that form them glued and puttied because I didn't want any seam lines running along the legs. The rest of the kit was put together without any glue (Yamato designed an interlocking mechanism for all the parts.) It took me two and a half years to finish it because we bought a new house with my wife, then my first son was born and then we added a second story to the house (all in between). If you take the crotch armor away you can squeeze him in
