What are we comparing? The old 1/48 Yamato with the Bandai DX? Or the new DX with the 1/60 ver 2 Yamato? The old 1/48 and the 1/60 ver 2 were the true revolution, I see the 1/48 Bandai as an "evolution" of the 1/60 Yamato ver 2. The Bandai is the sum of: some side steps, some forward steps, but also some back steps.

Yes, I guess so, but Bandai could have used magnets and give us full engine detail. But it is what it is...

What about the missiles?? No detail either?? I bought one set for my Hikaru VF-1S, but I would've prefered the option of internal detail. Shame on you Bandai, what's the purpose of taking the engine cover off only to see half empty space???

Can a F-18 pull a real Pugachev's Cobra??? I've seen an airshow where a pilot pulls some low thrust cobra. But nothing like this trailer. -

I guess this issue is widespread Never transformed Stick's bike and one piece is already cracked and the other has a white stress mark. I have transformed Rei's bike twice and both pieces are cracked. Both bikes pieces are still holding up despite the cracks. First pic Stick's bike, and second one is Rei's bike.

AmiAmi shipped my VF-1S yesterday. I payed EMS but customs and the post office totally suck in my country. I expect two weeks at least, to receive my package.

They showed Hikaru's 1A with the 011 Skull numbering. Bandai might bundle Hikaru's 1A with it's proper numbered Fast Packs. Bandai always chooses to complicate their releases

I'm im the same boat, I can't get past how large the front half looks. It's a bit out of scale. Will definitely get it but it will stay in armo soldier mode.
