1. If I'm not mistaken it was glane21. Hope he is doing fine, seemed a nice guy.
2. Turned out excellent!!! I was waiting to see it finished Looks great, love the weathering
3. It will surely be reissued. It's a matter of time
4. You know you can't resist the temptation, go ahead and punish your wallet A couple of pics to convince you:
5. Knowing the Captn' will get first a rough sculpt and with the second round of pics the conversion kit will almost be finished
6. You're welcomed The armor looks great on the VF-1A CF!!! And the 1/60 VF-1J is a great toy, I like the head sculpt better than it's 1/48 counterpart.
7. I'm speechless!!! Definitely the best SDF-1 out there It's simply brilliant, oh the details...
8. The armor is really good!!! I have three and no complaints about them. The armor stays perfectly fine on the valks. The only piece of armor that sometimes falls off (you have to shake the valk) is the crotch piece that covers the nosecone 'cause the pegs are very small. There's two quick solutions: nail lacquer to thicken the pegs or clear tape to hold the two pieces. As you see in the picture I went with the clear tape solution. It takes 5 seconds and you can't notice the tape when you attach the leg. Go ahead and buy the VF-1J with the armor!! You'll also get TV Hikaru pilot since the Super VF-1J came with a DYRL? pilot. The 1/48 VF-1J is going to be released in December so you can buy that one if you just want the valk. I have all the 1/60 releases, and I still love them despite the 1/48. The 1/60 GBP armor is a great addition to the series. I'll buy multiples of the 1/48 too!!!
9. Don't care about the price I'm getting multiples like I did with the 1/60 GBP. It's a beauty!!!! No GBP for the VF-1J, I'm gonna outfit two cannon fodders and a Focker VF-1S
10. Arghhhhhhh!!!! February? Why do we have to wait for so long?
11. Brilliant!!! This post made my day.
12. No broken pegs for me. It's a solid toy IMO. You can bend the knees in battroid mode. It's one of my favorite toys. Love it!!! Go and buy it, you won't regret it.
13. Great addition!!! It's always nice to see good old Roy
14. Thanks for the pics Graham!!!! The VF-0S is looking better and better. Yamato really captured the anime and lineart in fighter mode!!! I like all the proportions. The ultra-wide canopy of the 1/48 VF-1 when looked from a front view has always been a bummer for me. That's why I like the canopy and 'mosquito' nose of the 1/60 VF-1 better. But the 1/60 VF-0S is perfect, it's the most accurate rendition Yamato has pulled off!!!
15. I second that!! Excellent job there.
16. Pictures!!! I'm desperate to see more pictures It's going to be a long wait...
17. Saw Robotech back in 1986 when I was ten years old. The good thing about it is that it introduced me to Macross and Mospeada, my all time favorite series. The original series are far superior but I still like robotech, it brings me good memories.
18. Unless someone took the velcro off their box... 324747 You're giving me some ideas... Has the price of good ole' Hikaru risen?
19. Paintently waiting for the final result Give our thanks to your girlfriend for volunteering to do this for us!!!
20. The 2nd edition VF-1A Hikaru has no velcro on the box. Some of the later VF-1's had boxes with velcro though. But if you find a Hikaru with no velcro it´s %100 a 2nd edition Hope that helps.
21. I know we've seen so many VF-1's already but I'd like to see a 1/48 or 1/32 Perfect Grade VF-1. The detail would be incredible, removable panels, internal skeleton, actuators and so on... Everything we can expect from a Perfect Grade!!! Plus it's really fun to build
22. I think it is worth more than the LV based on what we have seen on ebay. 324273 I totally agree with you, but I bet it will eventually be reissued. It's currently going for more $$ than the LV, but as I said, I believe there's big chances of a reissue, so price is going to drop. With the LV the story is completely different...
23. It's definitely not a 1/100 SHE kit. Look at the arms and legs of the kit of the pic I posted and judge for yourself You'll see the differencies
24. Two for me. Then one for each variant but 2 or 3 canon fodder's.
