Yeah, when you see the 1/48 from a front view in fighter mode the cockpit is too bulbous and wide at the base. I'm probably the only one that likes the 1/60 proportions better. Although the sculpt, finish and details of the 1/48 are superior

I can vouch for Ken at Tot-wave too!! He is faster and cheaper than HLJ. I had no problems with HLJ either, it's a good place too.

I'm all for lineart accuracy so the best representation would be Yamato's 1/48 and 1/60 VF's. All the others suck. Well Hasegawa's VF is great but technically it's a model

If I had to keep only one valk it would be Focker or hikaru's 1/48 VF-1S equipped with Strike packs and GBP armor

The largest kit is the 1997 Wonderfest 1/48 Club-M resin kit. I'd say the most detailed kit is the 1/72 Club-M version which you can build leaving some pannels off to show inner frame details. It comes with a full set of weapons and the fold booster.

I for one still love all my 1/60 VF's. I really like the proportions. I proudly display them with all the newer 1/60's If Yamato delivers an improved 1/60 VF-1 with the proportions of the current ones I'll gadly spend more money. If not I'll still enjoy my collection.
