  3. Thanks for the link!!
  4. I'll stay tuned for the pics. Good you found the missing piece!!!
  5. Everybody should have this show on their top 5 anime list Some character designs are based on Lupin III, Spike -> Lupin and Jet -> Jigen. The final scene with the shot couple in the first episode, was taken from "Bonnie & Clyde". The shooting at the bar was taken from "Desperado" with Antonio Banderas. Spike was also based on Bruce Lee, so there are a lot of references to his films. "Way of the Dragon" when Spike uses the nunchakus in the second episode. The homage to Miyazaki and his "Porco Rosso" in episode 19 (Wild Horses) was very fun Those are some of the hundreds of examples!! There are a lot of references to films, other anime, music bands in this series, definitely one of the best anime series ever!!!
  6. Maybe it's mistransformed. Looking at the gerwalk pics, everything seems fine!!! The 1/72 VF-27 is looking very good, thanks for the new pics.
  7. It's really awesome!! It turned out great, good choice of colors.
  8. Thank you for the links!!!!
  9. Well said!!! But I still have to learn the basics and all the different settings when shooting manual with a DSLR camera. I'm carefully reading all your tips on the Photoshop thread to experiment how my camera reacts. I haven't bought the best camera (Canon EOS Rebel XS), but I think it's enough as an entry level camera. I hate grainy pics when I shoot under poor light conditions with high ISO I´ve seen better pics with the same camera as mine. I have to learn other settings.
  10. I'm still on the fence about getting this VF-1D I love my orange VF-1D trainer, but this scheme is exactly the same as Max's VF-1J. I'm still not convinced.
  11. Great pics everybody!!! I should get my lazy a$$ up and shoot some pics. I still have to learn how to take decent photos with my DSLR camera
  12. Those are the 1/72 model kits not the DX So it's really small. But it seems packed with detail for such a small figure. Is the Q-Rea correctly scaled against the VF-25?
  13. Thanks for the pics!!! The VF-25 and Q-Rea look great. First impression? Are the joints tight?
  14. I got it from Evil Bay from a seller with 100% positive rating with more than 3000 transactions. Will post pics when I receive it
  15. I went ahead and picked the Psycho Gundam MkII!!! I've seen it everywhere around $125/130. I got it for $90,88 so I couldn't resist
  16. I've asked the same question two times in this thread Where was it officially confirmed that the SDF-1 was going to cost $500?? It's always been our desire and pure speculation, but people around this forum tend to be delusional
  17. Impressions about the Metal Composite Psycho Gundam Mk II?? I'm about to get it. I'm not that much into Gundam but I love the design. I've got a couple of PG's and some MG's. From all the reviews and pics I've seen it seems it's a great toy.
  18. It looks great!!! Can't wait to have mine
  19. Brilliant!!!! The colors chosen and the weathering, make your work shine.
  20. My VF-1D is OK, excellent paint application, stiff joints and I've transformed it numerous times and the shoulders are doing fine. It's a great figure, some peolple complained that the chestplate (colored orange) is a bit transclucent when in battroid mode. It´s partially true around the upper area of the chest where it splits with the back but it's not that terrible Go ahead and get the VF-1D, you get to choose the Virgin Road too!!!
  21. The fit between the parts and the finish look more refined too!!
  22. What about this axiom: People that drink too much vodka in the morning post insane nonsense Pete drank too much vodka this morning Pete posts.... I hear punk and ska by the way.
  23. Something like this would be awesome.
  24. I would have said: the factories Yamato "works with" don't have the proper machines. I see a lot of folks storming the thread with examples of other toys produced in China with far larger ABS parts If you are allowed, I'd like to know what the estimated retail price Yamato had originally planned, cause according to this thread $500 was set in stone. I think this was an irrational hope. Thanks for looking into this matter.
  25. +1 It must sell well!!!
