  1. Wish my dad allowed me or encouraged to do that to my hair back in the day The kite turned out great!!!
  2. Listen what the man says Pete!!!! The EX-S is THE mech to get the PG treatment. I'm about to convince myself to get the G-System resin kit Don't get me strated on tattoo's. When I finish my arms I believe I'll stop
  3. I'll get the VF-1S to go with the 1/100 König Monster This 1/100 is looking good, but the Yamato 1/60 v2 is the end of all be, at least in my book!!!!
  4. Come on Pete do yourself a favor, you should definitely get a PG!!! I'm not a Gundam fan, but the level of inner detail put into these things is beyond belief
  5. The 1/48 hasn't touched your heart yet Ruben?? You are among the modelers I'm waiting to see all the love, attention and details that can be put on this 1/48!!!
  6. I hope "reducing detail" means no inner city or special gimmicks for the smaller version, and not reducing surface details The DYRL? SDF-1 has a great amount of surface details that I hope yamato reproduces on the smaller version. All the pannels, lines, scribed and recessed detail should be present. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the molds should be able to copy all the details, right?
  7. This is going to be so fun to build!!! Thanks for the bigger scan.
  8. Thanks for the link!!!
  9. I guess the link I'm posting is very exciting news for us Mospeada fans!!!! There is one important problem because the company involved (T-Rex), is the same company that made the limited accesories for the Beagle mospeada and the 1/60 v2 VF-1 Yamatos. Accesories only available at Wonderfest Articulated Mint figure by T-Rex? I'm completely iliterate when it comes to Japanese but the text below the last picture mentions something about CM's (anyone care to translate?): ふと横にあるフィグマのレイカちゃん見てあまりの美しさに落ち込む…。 そしてヤコログさんとこのCM'sのトレフィグのレビュー見てそこそこ可愛いのにまた凹む。 道は険しい。というかもう挫折しそう。 Judging by the size of the head in the first picture against the tools and keyboard it's bigger than the CM's figures, so it could be 1/10 and go along with Beagle figures. Mospeada not dead
  10. I'd rather have this weathered valk also panel lined, like Max's VF-1S. At least for consistency's sake
  11. Wish I liked this design, but I don't Won't get the PG 00, I'm still not convinced.
  12. Great idea, you sold me that set!!! Now, where can I buy it?
  13. Exactly I'm %100 sure we'll get the unpainted canopy/diecast, and that is absolutely great in my book cause it's like getting the early prototypes we see in the magazines!!! I already have one planned custom and I'll leave another completely stripped.
  14. If you are having trouble with the VF-1D canopy not closing completely, you have to squeeze Hikaru's arms and push them between the instrument panels so he can sit lower. The instructions advise you to do that. I've seen a lot of reviews and pics of the VF-1D where the owner didn't get the canopy flush with the plane. If it's another VF, as others said, I suggest you take a couple minutes to examine the toy. Sometimes you just need to make a minor adjustment or the toy is not properly transformed
  15. Thank you both!!! Best replies I've seen these couple last days
  16. I wouldn't trust the advertisement. If you examine Yamato boxes, all of them have pics of the painted prototypes not the final/actual product. Think of the SV-51 CF, the feet/claws are tan in the pics of the box but the actual toy has dark grey ones. Gamlin's VF-22 has light grey intake covers in the pics but the toy has intake covers that match the body color of the plane. If you look very closely you can see the YF-21 was used and repainted cause the blues shows on the elbow scratches The v2 1/60 VF-1S Roy Strike has smaller skull stickers on the strike pack and thicker panel lines. Every single Yamato box is full of inaccuracies!!! Even the blue slid of the weathered 1/48 Roy has a white blue print of a v1 1/60 VF. The same happens with the advertisements, they never use a production samle for the pics You sir, have hit the nail on it
  17. Fantastic VF-25S, thanks for the link!!!
  18. Thank Harmony Gold for that I hope you get a replacement for the wing!! Maybe one of the members that speak Japanese will chime in and guide you or provide you with a mail to contact Yamato.
  19. Calm down boys!!! Don't set the torches The posted picture shows another unassembled model kit in runners in a tranlucent box. Where was it confirmed that it's going to be a painted and assembled mass produced Kit? It does come with a pilot which my 1st exclusive fan racer didn't, but it's not that a big deal. If in the near future Yamato produces a 1/60 toy out of it (they should do a fan liner too) it's like the 1/60 v2 VF-1 update.
  20. I'd like a friend for my 1/100 König Monster The 1/60 v2 is the ultimate valk, it can't get better than this, at least in my book. But if the $$ bandai want's for this 1/100 is reasonable, I'll get one.

    SCOOP thread!

Yes!!! A 1/60 Zentran soldier, but it's from the company that makes the prototypes for Yamato. The same company that sold the wonderfest exclusive bags for the mospeada and the 1/60 seats for battroid mode. I hope yamato sees the potential of 1/60 zentran figures!!!!
  22. I like it too, will get it
  23. All that hard work has really paid off! Your VT-1 is looking very good.
  24. This is going to be so great for customizations!!! Thanks for the pic.
  25. Wow!!! Amazing artwork, thanks for sharing it with us. Kep up the good work
