  1. Thanks for that scan!! Bigger resolution needed
  2. Apart from the different shaped nosecone, it's very similar to Yamato's v2 1/60 It's difficult to perfect what's almost perfect I'm leaving the door open for the shoulder issue critics!!!
  3. That show at Troubador was with Me First and the Gimme Gimme's, must have been a hell of a fun show!! (Note to myself: visit LA more often!!!) Let me know about your band so I can check it Been listening non stop to Another Damn Disappointment latest CD "Relentless" before every surf session. Great punk band!!! Song "Rotten" if anyone want's to check...
  4. Old punker Greg Hetson (also Circle Jerks guitarist)!!! And if NOFX's guitarist was Melvin please tell me you were singing with/for Punk Rock Karaoke Steve Soto and Derek O'Brien were also there??? How I envy you
  5. El Hefe or Eric Melvin ? They toured South America this past February and I got to see both shows in Argentina. The first show was top notch but the second show (private show for 200 peolpe) was f u c k i n g awesome. NOFX is my all time favorite band, I was very lucky being able to hang up with them a couple times!! Great to know other MW members are into punk like me
  6. Hahahaha!!!! Thanks for sharing
  7. That's the problem!!! I was pushing the nosecone (without noticing) causing it to slide up before unlocking the chestplate when transforming it back to fighter. Thanks for your help!!! Me and my VF-27 are friends again
  8. I use brushes, the same ones for painting model kits
  9. That's the part I'm having trouble with. The damn chest doesn't let the nosecone slip under it!!! I really fell like a moron 'cause when I go from fighter to battroid I have no dificulty getting the chestplate over the nosecone. I try to copy the process when I go back, but it's like the sidebars get stuck (I do flip the neck plate up) and the chestplate rests against the nosecone before getting unlocked I'm serious when I say that it's the first VF that's giving me a great headache. I have no trouble with the YF-21 or the SV-51, but I'm not having the same rewarding experience when I transform my VF-27 as others have!!!
  10. Agree with you, not a deal breaker but I don't like them
  11. It's not that they're extremely small, they're extremely THIN That's why they look off.
  12. I'm having a really hard time transforming my VF-27 back from battroid to fighter. I can't avoid touching the nosecone with the chest and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong (I'm unlocking the head and neck cover). I scratched the lavender paint, fortunately I touched it up and managed to match the color,

  14. Guess it's going to be my first toynami product It looks very good, going to display it with my 1/100 Yamato König Monster (also getting Bandai's 1/100 Hi-Metal VF-1 and YF-21 for the same reason ) I still want 1/60 enemy mecha though!!!!!! And articulated Zentran soldiers like the ultra limited T-Rex ones!!!!!!
  15. War Machine is going to be so awesome!!!
  16. Great pics troyness!!!! At least we all own 2 of the better toys out there. We were really close to own 4
  17. +1!!!! VF-11 Drone for the win!!!!
  18. I like fighter and gerwalk modes the best Something is off in battroid mode. There's too much space between the intakes and the chestplate, the torso is elongated. It has Vader feet For the price it's a good company for my 1/100 Yamato König Monster!!! Yamato's new 1/60 VF-1's are king though.
  19. There were three versions of this toy: Ver 1: Mac Plus YF-19 with the infamous tab B. A tab that broke very easily when you separated the neck/front fuselage. This toy had the tailfins put on the wrong leg (left on the right and viceversa). Ver 1.5: Mac Plus YF-19 with revised stronger tab B and tailfins placed on the correct leg. Ver 2: the game edition VF-19A Ravens Scheme. It also introduced a revised sculpt in the knees to cover the mechanism but it resulted in a less posable leg. It's a good toy with a design that shows it's age. Personal critique: the paint rubs of very easy, be extremely careful when handling it. Other than that it's built like a tank.
  20. Great pic!!! The pose, angle and lighting are perfect The 1/60 v2 Low Viz is one of my favorite toys!
  21. 1/72 Yamato, sold more than ten years ago
  22. What a coincidence!!! Yesterday I was checking the Low Viz I pilot (same as Low Viz II) and thinking "this is as good as it can get". Gummy pilots at it's best!!! VF-1 v2 DYRL? pilots are pretty good too IMHO. Same as Mac Zero pilots.
  23. It was never made As jenius said he is in the know of a company that planned one.
  24. Finally received mine Took one day from Japan to Argentina but the idiots at customs made me wait a week to get the notice to pick it up
