  1. Nice find!!! Thank you. The legs look the propers size tor me. The proportions are spot on!!! Can't wait to see pics of the actual prototype.
  2. You'd suffer from massive brain damage from all of the inaccuracies portrayed in that book
  3. That's a book published in Argentina in the 90's about robotech and how it was done, DYRL?, games, toys and other merchandise. I have a copy of it.
  4. It's a scratchbuild kit from our own macrossworld master Captain America/John Moscato. Like many of his creations it was available as a limited resin kit.
  5. That's a great point!! Can't remember now if the P is shown in the lineart as being fastpack capable (guess it should be).
  6. Well I guess regarding this whole removable fins issue (I must add that I don't like them too), I'm stubbornly unreceptive to this idea It's part of the design to begin with, so If Yamato went with the removable option they should provide a piece to cover the holes. I feel like it's going the same route as: we don't like fins on the legs, make them removable, we don't like too many head lasers, make them removable and so on... It doesn't seem right. Well maybe cause I'm a cannon/lineart nazi More power to us if they're finnally removable but as I said it doesn't feel right.
  7. Well sometimes the dust adheres to the surface of my toys (guess it's the humid weather) so I have to use water and a soft cloth to get them factory clean.
  8. Great review as usual!!! I agree with your score in the durability and build department, on my sample the right leg and the left arm are becoming loose (the shoulder and hip balljoint). I guess with a bit of superglue it should be okay.
  9. Nice find!!! I still have to watch Orguss
  10. I'm starting to panic again, haven't received installment #3. It's taking 2 months again (like installmet #1) I guess the Canadian Post and the Argentine post sometimes don't get along too well Hope to get the package this week.
  11. Thanks for the pics!! It's too busy with all the add ons. I can't bring myself to like this pack, not gonna get it.
  12. Maybe the other port is for the MC-17A Gun Pod Beam Adapter??
  13. You've got a nice kit, keep us posted with the progress!!!!
  14. I completely agree, his work when finished, should receive proper recognition!!! Maybe Kawamory or Kazutaka Miyatake should pay him a visit to admire this work of art in person
  15. Congrats!!! As kanedaestes said it could well be the first of many more!!! If you are the type of collector that once in a while poses a valk and leaves it on a shelf, then the 1/100 VF-25 is OK. There are other options, if you love this valk design I'd say give the upcoming 1/60 DX version 2 a chance (if money is not an issue)
  16. I'd kill for a RX-93 or a Sazabi in this line / scale / quality. Bandai has done the metal composite Psycho Gundam MkII (I have it) which is massive at 1/144. So I guess a 1/100 RX-93 or even a Sazabi could still be possible. If Bandai perceives the demand is there they might actually go for it.
  17. Extremely awesome!!! Turned out great!!!!
  18. I'm an extremist right? Yeah, I refuse to display/mix models with toys! Hope the kit will be easy to track down.
  19. I know you're dissapointed but again, as Renato said it's better than no Phalanx at all. The models are 1/72 and can't be posed with the other 1/60 destroids. For the time being it's the only option. If Yamato determined that it will never see the light of day as a toy then there's not much to complain about.
  20. We need better and bigger pics of the VF-17 prototype!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!
  21. It will be less expensive to complete the TV squadron and you're only two short. I'd finish the TV one first. But after that, I'd go for the DYRL? squad. I'm a sucker for DYRL? VF-1A's
  22. Completely agree!!! I also believe that the legs on the actual toy will look bigger than the CAD lineart. The physical representation of the VF-17 will be awesome.
  23. The legs in the lineart are too big/exagerated. I like Yamato's representation better because it's real. As you are showing in the lineart, that battroid could never transform in that fighter.
  24. I'll buy it either way but it'd be great if it had english subtitles. I always support the franchise, but I'll have to download a fan subbed version. My native language is Spanish and I studied English, German and Portuguese. I don't have enough time to strat with Japanese
  25. This must be the most beautiful Cat's Eye out there!!!! Great scheme, a work of art!!!
