  1. True. The one click ankle for YF-19 for Battroid mode is the proper way (as per manual) which I didn't do it here since the ankle on my YF-19 is quite loose. However, I did try doing that and it still didn't help. The YF-21 (on his proper Battroid leg extended) looks really big over Arcadia's YF-19. Remember that the Arcadia version is now shorter in height compared to the original Yamato release by about 2cm. This is by following the revisions done in VF-19Kai. By extending 2 clicks on the ankle joint, which is for Gerwalk mode use, the YF-19 will look awkward in Battroid mode besides the YF-21. You can still check Reivaj post before my comparison post. The YF-19 there uses the proper extended ankle. But do note that the YF-21 on that picture is not using the proper extended leg. My conclusion is, YF-21 is a taller than both versions of YF-19. But this time, it really did make him more taller since Arcadia's YF-19 is now shorter than it's Yamato's counterpart. Based on anymoon's site, Yamato YF-19 stands 25.25cm; Yamato VF-19Kai stands 23.5cm (almost the same with Arcadia's release); Yamato YF-21 stands roughly at 26.5cm. 2. I'm assuming we can still put back the intakes during Gerwalk mode. But it will just limits the swivel joint movement. I really don't mind if I limit the swivel joint by doing that. As long that it will not get too loose. I like Gerwalk on my YF-29s I'm a jerk for loving YF-19's Gerwalk mode. Hence, my avatar. Hahaha!
  3. You're in luck for your request. I was playing with my Valks last night with my 5 year old son. He enjoys playing with my VF-1A Hikaru to the point he already made the pelvic joint loose on the swing bar. Hahaha! And got the urge on transforming both YF-19 (Arcadia) and YF-21 (Yamato) to compare their height. So here you go. In Fighter mode. (That's my son's elbow btw. ) Original YF-21 height (by pulling and locking the bottom part of the leg). I don't like this height since he towers too much over the YF-19. Using YF-21 slight leg extension for Gerwalk mode. This height I prefer over the first one. Assuming Arcadia will do a renewal in the future. Hope they do something like this scale. Just a little bit taller. To still keep the impression that YF-21 is mean-looking than YF-19. Lastly, not extending the legs. Almost the same height with Arcadia YF-19. I guess in my opinion on the height, it's kinda look ok assuming that YF-21 legs and feet are thicker. Anyways, hope this photo helps even the quality is not good. I'm using iPhone. Yup, this is the height I prefer for YF-21 over YF-19. Just extended using the Gerwalk mode legs.
  4. You're welcome! Present tomorrow? Nice. So, PROPHECY fulfilled eh?
  5. Great action poses, TCracker! Are the ankle joints still tight after doing those poses?
  6. Happy Birthday, Saburo! Wishing you more MAKUROSU Toys. Anyways, Happy Anniversary.
  7. Nice! Everyone is getting their YF-25s. Congrats everyone! Any close-up photo of the head? How was the clear visor? More on the blue tint or green? And hopefully Bandai will release the optional set to replace the head and add the add-on super/armor parts and the lance.
  8. From what I've seen from the sellers at the Sales thread before were mostly $60-ish and up. Not 100% sure though on the price. But they're a lot cheaper that the VF-25s Parts.
  9. So encouraging, you're going to have a hard time stopping it. Especially, when you try to limit yourself with the price (setting up the maximum bid), and then ends up paying it more since you don't want the lose even for a few bucks.
  10. Ouch. That's what I don't like with the DX line. They're all paints that is always prone to scratching.
  11. Nice shots! True. I liked the YF-29 as is. Not a big fan of the YF-29 Super Parts. But when it's attached, it really will grow on you.
  12. You're welcome. Glad to be of help. By the way, didn't see this one. When was the VF-4G posted?
  13. Is 'Registered SAL' really that bad? Now I'm having second thoughts on my YF-30 preorder with NY since I've selected the next cheap NY shipping option with insurance and tracking number. I've been using Registered SAL for all my Mandarake purchases. And so far it's still safe as long that there's tracking number. Been trying to save a few dough on shipping that's why I'm not using EMS unless seller stated that they can't use SAL. But if it's just regular SAL and not Registered with Tracking Number then I'm not using it. Or if it's just $5-8 dollars difference from EMS then that's the only time I'll use EMS. But if it's $10+, I just used Registered SAL. Anyways, did you had bad experience with using Registered SAL?
  14. Nice! That was 'somehow' a good price. Anyways, I always assumed '開封' means 'opened'. Since 開 means open and 封 means seal. So it's 'Sealed open(?)' And the '箱いたみ', I always see in Mandarake means some dents on the box.
  15. Kinda late for me to find this solution. I feel bad for my $200 worth of toy. If I found this sooner... Anyways, just venting out. Hehehe. Just spend almost 7 hours on figuring out how to put back the legs properly to the belly so that I can put the belly cover perfectly. But somehow it won't let me do that. I followed the manual, checked every reviews online, watched video tutorials via youtube (thanks to the links from the instruction video guides thread) and rewatching it to figure out how to do it properly. Since I can't remember if someone from the videos mentioned the 'hole' knee click. I'm sure a lot of members here experienced this so I just Google search "Macrossworld YF-19 1/60", lo and behold, I stumbled on '1/60 YF-21 help?' thread and this thread. Thanks to Ghostkiller, the 'hole' on the knee joint should be 'invisible' and not visible. From what I've seen on the manual, it is just encircled, so I assumed that it's the proper knee bend since I saw the 'hole' on the knee joint based on the included picture from the insert flyer. But even though I followed the 'picture', I can't seem to close the panels perfectly. Even tried to removing the arms for 'studying'. Even the legs. So super thanks to this thread and to Ghostkiller. Here's some snapshots I did. The 'hole' on the knee joint. Removing the leg just to see how it will 'sit' on the panel based on the light grooves on the inside part of the panels. ...and checking what 'damage' I did just by doing this for almost 7 hours. I was told by a friend to put some putty, dry and sand it, and repaint it. Any remedies or alternative replacements from Shapeways? Anyways, that's how bad it is for my 4 day old toy. And this what it looks like after reading this thread. "LOOK, NO MORE HOLE!" I know the knees are touching one another. But I'm going to put something in between to protect them. I was thinking of some black cloth used for cleaning eyeglasses. "Live and learn."
  16. Cool. Didn't know my Arcadia YF-19 video is already linked here. Thanks! Sorry if there's no audio since YouTube muted it for containing a copyrighted music. Anyways enjoy and hope it helps a lot.
  17. I just checked my other PO status and they're all still safe, Saburo. But I do have now a -1 on my EXP points. Hehehe.
  18. Didn't IKEA already released a white detolf years ago? And are they going to discontinue it? But since they're going to 'reintroduce' again the white color, does that mean the beech color ones will sure make a comeback in the foreseeable future?
  19. I'll let you know when I checked later thru the main site.
  20. Thanks happy_spike. Congrats too on your YF-21. Even though, I already have this one, I'm still wishing for Arcadia to take a stab again on the YF-21 units and recreate it again ala-YF-19. Proportioned and mean-looking but still maintain the uber-cool looking Fighter mode. I don't mind if the only solution is to have an option muscled legs attachments. Hehehe. Thanks derex3592. Best Hot Toys Batman so far. Really shows how old I am. Hahaha! The only gripe I have for this figure is not to hold it with bare hands esp when you have dry skin. Cloth tend to stick with your fingers and make the cloth string pulled. Not sure what's the correct term is but it's the same thing when you wear some cotton/nylon shirt and when it gets stuck on sharp items, the string kinda get pulled making the cloth kinda mess up. Better wear latex gloves if ever you guys decided to get these too. Thanks Saburo. No more budget now. Hahaha!
  21. Finally decided not to get it. Ignored NY's payment email deadline which is today. And lo and behold, got an email that my PO has already been cancelled. Just wish they don't cancel my other POs which is majority of them is for later this year. I haven't logged in yet on the main NY site so not sure if all my other paid POs are also been cancelled or not. Anyways, the budget alloted for the Prophecy went to my eBay YF-21 purchase. Hehehe. Edit : By the way, while I'm checking the YF-21 earlier, I was thinking it would look cool displayed together with the YF-25 Prophecy. Blue and Yellow/Orange. nice. Hopefully some members will post here soon the Prophecy besides the YF-21.
  22. Great purchases everyone! Got me a BLUE BIRD today. Won this on eBay for $202. New. Never transformed. I assumed it was only displayed in fighter mode. Plastic wraps on one leg and landing gears are still intact. Too bad I missed bidding on the DX VF-25G and VF-25F first versions from the same seller. They all have the same bidding time so I just focus on YF-21 until the last minute. Got lucky since it's the 2008 release that comes with Fast Packs and Display Stand. Nice. 2 weeks ago, it was this.
  23. Hope this helps, chyll2: http://page16.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u66113608 6 hours to go.
