  1. Thanks KH355hamdi! I also checked anymoon for comparison. Ok, from what I've observed, we're doing the same thing with the chest area and the crotch areas. It's touching the nosecone underneath, whereas over at anymoon's photo you'll notice that his chest part has somehow has gap from the nosecone. Also, I was about to ask you about the shoulder bits and good thing I refreshed the page and saw the added VF-25F photo. Your photo shows that the shoulder bits is leveled straight, whereas anymoon's is bent more downward towards the back. And that's what I'm doing to make the torso lock somehow and sturdy. My question next is since your shoulder bits is leveled, do you get that wobbly/shaky torso when you hold your 25's? And the back wing part is not lock somehow? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the insight, Scyla. That's what I always do, the chest is pointing down and touching the nosecone. As for the shoulder bits, I also fold it down as much as I can so that everything is in lock in place. But somehow when I see members posting their 25's, I always wonder are their units much tighter than mine so they can just leave the shoulder bits resting straight and the chest plate have slight gap from the nosecone. That's why I always think if I'm missing something with the transformation so that I can also leave the shoulder bits somehow straight. But whenever I do that, the core block in the middle tends to move a lot. So I will just go back and bent down more the shoulder bits so that the core block will be lock in place. I'll try to check again tonight and see if I can just leave the shoulder bits straight than being bent down more towards the back. Again, thanks Scyla.
  3. The 'old school' in me wants to choose Hikaru's 1S with Strike Packs. It's my favorite valk of all time. But that was before I saw the YF-19 back in the 90's. If I could wish for both of them at the same time doing that 1 Valkyrie wish, I'll DO it. And I mean EACH. Don't want the Genie to give me a mash-up one. Hahaha!
  4. No problem. You're welcome. Just trying to figuring out too since besides the support part I'm also concern on the durability of the swiveling waist part so I'm curious on dissecting the video.
  5. Ok, I've seen a lot of VF-25's in Battroid mode here over the boards and I do have questions on how you guys transform yours. Here's what I've noticed so far: 1. Bandai DX boxes shows the shoulder part (where you replace and attached the missle pods for both Super and Armored Packs) is kinda leveled nicely. 2. Intruction manual shows that part is kinda pointy downwards toward the back of the Battroid. 3. Some photos shows the chest cover barely touches the nosecone. Whereas some photos shows that the two parts touching each other. 4. Some pose their Battroid mode with the crotch area just straight (like the Ver1 look), others pose it with potruding. Sometimes after seeing those photos I'm not so sure what's the correct form. I know it's based on your preferences. But when I played with my 25F and transform it multiple times, I find that doing the shoulder part leveled straight, the chest cover have a big gap from the nosecone, and the head part and chest area part is kinda wobbly. Whereas when I tried to bend the shoulder part more downward towards the back of the Battroid, it mades the figure more solid and somehow more locked in place. The wing backpack is not that loose and the chest cover is secured very well on the nosecone. My question would be is for members who displayed their Battroids with the shoulder part leveled straight, does your valks have like a wobbly upper part when holding it? And for those who bent the shoulders a little downward towards the back, do you get the more solid-locked-torso feeling? Anyways, just trying to find out if I'm transforming my Messiah valk correctly. Thanks.
  6. I remember having this one back in '84.
  7. Nice concept. Kinda dig the Strike Pack now to the VF-1D. Would look more perfect if you added a little touch of light grey here and there. Any photos in Gerwalk and Fighter modes?
  8. Cool pic, KH355hamdi! Masalam.
  9. Were there images attached to it? Didn't see any. Thanks.
  10. WOW! I really wish for an unlimited supply of cash. Hahaha!
  11. Actually I'm not. But in all honesty, I'm somehow disappointed. Seeing those promotional pictures at first from months ago, you can tell that it's a cool-looking Battroid figure. Only to find out a month prior of its release date they will show that 'hey, by the way, you also need to put this support bracket as well.' So from that illusion, it kinda destroyed the concept of how good or cool-looking the Battroid was from the promo pix. Yes, using it will help a lot. BUT wouldn't be nice if they already show that at first so everyone has ideas somehow how the Battroid WILL really look like after we purchased it. What bothers me the most is Bandai should have learned a thing or two from Yamato. Bandai somehow already copied the transformation sequence on the VF-19 Hi-Metal, why they couldn't copy how Yamato's VF-4G nosecone and cockpit block locks together? I'm sure a folding white joint peg under the nosecone is possible but I'm not sure why they just ignored it. I remember this was promoted like it's a new 'simplified-transformation' sequence. But never announced that there will be a supporting add-on part. It's really is a mixed feeling from other members since some members here wants something perfect in transformation with no removing big or swapping important parts. And some is just content on what they're going to get. Count me as one of the latter. I'm still glad that they did add that thing to support it. But disappointed since I was fooled again by their marketing strategy. This time I really wish that the support bracket part will not look out of place or out of design when it placed on the Battroid. I don't want to see some plastic bar that looks like just a normal display stand adaptors. If it's going to add some added designs to the side of the Battroid, then I'm going to be happy. I just remembered how everyone was so intense during the P.O. stages, and look where we are now... half-excited and half-dissapointed already. And the figure is NOT even released yet. Anyways, that's just my two cents.
  12. Nah. Sorry about that, Saburo. I'm just throwing a sarcastic remark on them for the final 'black' support parts since what they've shown on the instruction video was purple-colored ones. Hahaha! I guess, from what you've read and thinking that it WAS from them, it shows that we've been FOOLED again by Bandai. Hahaha! By the way, you're welcome. Sure you're not gonna transform it not even once for your amusement esp since it has a different transformation sequence?
  13. Thanks Mommar! Thought it slipped me since I need an extra Fold Booster soon. Hehehe.
  14. Nice. Btw, are they scaled with each other? Not so familiar with Zentradi figs. Thanks!
  15. Ok, so I rewatched again the video from antibiotictab with fresh-rested eyes. Just to confirm, heck, to convince myself if the Battroid Support Parts is necessarily to use or just an added option part, well, to pretty hold everything in place. OR worst if it's just a late-added part or an afterthought when they noticed that the nosecone will not hold in place. And here's what I've noticed: After seeing it and thinking about it, I'm still glad that Bandai did something before the product is released. Even if this is an afterthought or late-added option, I'm still glad they did even if it's kinda let down. Since I'm paying for an expensive toy, I just want it to be perfect, but hey, as life have thought me... there's nothing perfect in this world. By the way, I'm still looking forward to see what kind of Option Parts they will offer soon.
  16. Wait, did they announce that they will re-release it again? I might have missed that.
  17. Great pictures, Falcon18. Did you put topcoat on it after you panel lined it?
  18. Japan 1984. When it was released on laser disc after its theatrical run, we asked the local video shop rental to make us a 'betamax' copy. It's the first time I'm going to see it since we missed the theatrical run a month or two. But I remember that summer I keep on seeing on the TV the trailer and the commercials. Minmay. Macross. Su-pi-do (Speed). After watching it, I fell in love with Minmay immediately. And hate Hikaru at first for choosing Misa. But in the end, I was just 9 back then so the whole love triangle kinda new to me. But seeing those cool animated Valks in action... it was heaven for me.
  19. Great shots!
  20. Yup, no box also on the 1J CF. It was on the Q&A part of the listing.
  21. I feel you guys. I now have doubts too but I'm still excited to see this in person. I guess, if I were to play with it during Battroid mode, then I have to put the back bracket. But if I will just display in Battroid mode standing up, then I guess it's fine that the torso is resting in place above the canopy. It's still felt kinda a bad engineered toy regarding the torso/canopy part but atleast Bandai tried to fix their problem by adding the bracket. Assuming that IT IS neglected during designing process. Otherwise, if we got those valks without the brackets and figured out the problem afterwards then we will just starting to bad mouth Bandai once again. Hehehe. I guess, the wait and see games starts... now.
