  4. That's why it's a pass for me. Also, it's not too 'mechanical' for my taste.
  5. But you're still going to buy Bandai's YF-21 like the rest of us no matter what, right?
  6. We're so close.
  7. Snap Design x Heat Boys Diecast Action Figure - Mecha Ninja Turtles SPLINTER Announced.
  8. One of the easiest preorders. Though I PO'ed at HLJ. https://www.hlj.com/product/TKT20875 https://www.hlj.com/product/TKT90589
  9. I already gave up on wanting a YF-21 figure that is lineart accurate. Because truth be told, it's not going to happen. The only way to have an anime/lineart accurate for YF-21 is make them partsformer. Remove the legs, we can have a sleek profile in Fighter. This is why I'm curious to see the upcoming Bandai's 1/100 YF-21 transforming model kit. If all modes is going to end up as close to the lineart. Because if it is, I'm pretty sure there will be some third parties out there who's going to scale it up in 3D towards 1/60 scale. Then, we're going to have a lineart accurate YF-21 sans perfect transformation gimmick. Because, why not?
  10. I remember @Kurisama mentioned that he is planning on doing swappable legs for Yamato's 21/22 years ago.
  11. Straight answer is yes. As long that we're talking about Version 2 of 1/60 scaled VF-1, then the answer is yes. There's some minor differences such as color and features between TV and DYRL models. Left is TV. Right is DYRL. Both Super/Strike Packs are very much compatible whether the VF-1 is from TV or DYRL. If you like, you can also check out our very own @jenius reviews (where the photo came from) on all Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 VF-1 releases from his Scorched Earth Toys website. Here's the link: https://anymoon.com/blog/?p=4599 Hope that helps.
  12. Aren't we all? So close, yet so far. To be honest, I can't remember now what year this YF-21 prototype was originally published.
  13. Same sentiments. I'm just here waiting for Rick's... er, Hikaru's VF-1A Super. After that, I can close shop on DX VF-1 figures.

    Arcadia VF-5000G

Agreed. But if that's how they want to be faithful with the design plus its transformation engineering, the only safe way to do it is to leave the hip/intake in vertical pose and just use the hinge joint below it to fold or bend the leg. Like how it was on the VF-1. You really can't rotate the hip/intakes coz it will hit the Battroid's wings. Same method applies here I think.
  15. I don't own a chunky monkey, but from what I've seen on videos and reviews, yes, there's a big difference. I don't mind Bandai does the same thing like Takara's doing on that Missing Link Convoy for the Chunky VF-1. Same Chunky transformation but DX level articulation.
  16. Why not, right? However, a worldwide release with Chunky VF-1's? Not if HG can help it. I don't think VF-1's directly from Japan companies are included in the BW/HG agreement.
  17. Nope.
  18. If McFarlane is going to do this figure, hope it's not the awful Superman Hush body.
