Great job! And I salute you for taking the chance on doing it. Regarding the NO STEP markings, you can just get a waterslide decal somewhere that has a NO STEP markings and just reapply it to the wing. And I guess, you're right. Adding a different shade of black on the wing really made a difference.

I do have an airbrush. But no time yet. Raising a kindergarten is already a handful so can't find time yet. Hahaha! And besides it's getting cold now so painting outside is not doable anymore for me if ever. And yes, I'm planning on using flat/matte finish. Well, I guess AB is the best option for thinner application, right. Just need to figure out then not to put decals near the areas that moves or twist or something so I don't need to apply topcoats on those areas.

You know what, I really don't care a lot about CF Valk toys. But looking at this picture. I really could say that the best CF colored Valks is from SDF-1 Macross series. Simple and classy. The breaking of colors is totally awesome.

With my current situation and to keep up with this hobby... I might. Hahaha! True. That's always and forever will be everyone's complaints regarding Macross Valks. So don't worry, it's not just you. Oh my! 2 months ago it was just Y90000 something. If that's the price then it's better to get the one in Mandarake which up to now is still Y70000. That one is there like forever. Hahaha! Wait. Even NY have that VF-4G for ages now and they still jack up the price?

I see. So this 171Ex backpack protrudes more. It shows big gap than Alto's or CF's 171Ex. Didn't expect that this one will also have a stabilizer piece for the backpack and the radar-stabilizer thingy. Not to mention the display stand. This release definitely needs love from the YetiStand.

I only wish that this new one will have a good and yet somehow different than traditional endings that will keep you hanging from your seat. I know Animes always end up with a hanging ending only to find out later on that you have to read mangas for the right or proper conclusions. Which I'm not saying I don't like it. But it will look cool though to watch it in proper anime rendition instead of reading it. And of course, I wish there's more dogfights and make them longer than focusing on the idols face while singing. -

Hey chyll2. Sorry for the late reply. Didn't notice that you replied to my questions. Hehehe. Ok. I always known that decals should be topcoated for protection. But my really concern is the transformation. Meaning I might or I will probably create some scratching on the topcoat when I started transforming this even if I left it for days to cure. It will definitely create scratching. So my next question will be is, would it be safe or ok to apply topcoat via handbrush (probably thin application) just on the applied decals instead of applying topcoats via airbrush over the whole valk? Thanks again.

Cool! Y7000? That's a good cheap price. Polystyrene? Hmmm. Probably the hands, or the pilot figures, or the stand attachement for the pilot figure. Or missing some stand attachment perhaps? Either way, that's still a good buy for Y7000.
