Late May releases, usually ends up on everyone's doorstep the first week and a half or so of the next month via EMS. And that includes shipping. When and where are we going to see it during or after the release date, we'll never know. Some might pop up over Nippon-Yasan after the release date but expect the price to be higher.

Count me in! Hope it comes with SAP. Honestly, I can't complain right now. I'm just glad that another company is doing what Arcadia or Bandai is not doing it.

Yup, that's the big difference from the last Yamato release and the upcoming Arcadia one. And right now, we're not sure if the "1" on the chest will be tampo printed or not. But rest assured it will still come with 'stickers'. To answer your question regarding Yamato value over Arcadia. Think of this way, Arcadia just started doing Macross 2 years (?) ago after Yamato folded and getting, most probably bought the molds from them. And the only 'new' molds that they did as of now is the YF-19 and the VF-0D. The only releases they did using the old molds are the VF-1S, VF-1J, and the ever-famous VF-19 with Sound Booster. And doing a lesser quantity producing it. Value-wise, to this date, it's almost the same with the other variants from Yamato releases. That's after-market prices. And we're just talking about the VF-1S Roy and Hikaru counterparts. Unless, you ask about the VF-1D, VT-1, VF-4G, and so on and so forth, then that's a different story. Those Yamato releases are very valuable from a collector's point of view. That's why a lot of us here wishes Arcadia to somehow rerelease those so that people who doesn't have a copy, or for new collectors, or collectors who still want to have another VF-4G in their cabinet, will get it at MSRP price. But either way, IMHO, any Macross toy releases, as long that it's not released by HG, is valuable.

Ok. Guess I'm lame for having only 4. And that includes the upcoming VF-1J GBP. VF-1S Hikaru VF-1A Hikaru VF-1J Hikaru (probably will order the VF-1J The First head in the future for this unit) VF-1J GBP Hikaru (preordered) Well, I'm just focused on the red and black stripe motif so I think that's ok.

As of today's pricing and all, that $200 set is already cheap. 2 years ago, that same VF-1J without the GBP is selling for about $300-500 over eBay. So I'm thankful that Arcadia planned on rereleasing it even the 'goggles' is not grey like the first Yamato release.

Love the show. Started watching friday night and hopefully to finish the whole season over the weekend. But had some house chores to do as well. Anyways, hope to finish the rest of the 5 episodes for the next night or so. I just hope that Elektra would show up for the last 5 episodes even for a cameo or something. Here's to hoping.

Ok. From what I've noticed, it's a little loose. But not that loose. Imagine some loose DX Renewal crotch joints. Whenever you pick them up, it tends to plop a little until you fix it again when you try to pose him again. Then again, the DX is easy to tighten the joints because of those expose screws. The thigh joints on the Orguss, up to now I don't know how to open them up to tighten it. But will check it again soon.

Wait. Exposing to more sunlight will make the parts more yellow. Makes it worse if you do that. You know about UV rays, right? Toys and collectibles should be kept in the dark. Hehehe. Btw, get the GBP while it's still cheap for pre-ordering.

I have a feeling it's an announcement. As what davidwhangchoi said, it's the same thing that I thought of at first. That he was too busy and all. But then, I tried to browse his twitter account, and there was tweets days before like Apr 9, 8, 7, even if it's just one tweet or so. And this specific tweet caught me while checking his twitter. Tweet dated Apr 8... https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/585753275221159936 If you translate the keywords, it will show the word 'progress'. Progress + VF-0D pic. So probably, he's into something for next week. Just saying.

Good thing I didn't pull my intakes to get more posability. I just transformed the valk to battroid and back. But how come they still use a half metal, half plastic to the swing bar joint if their intent is to pull or yank them when in Battroid mode? So basically, this round half metal, half plastic joint is identical to Bandai's DX Valks, knowing the joints they have in Yamato/Arcadia VF-1's are all metal clipped inside the plastic rectangular thingy that you insert it inside the intake. Weird.
