FLIER MODE GERWALK MODE Note: According to the manual and early display pictures, the thigh joint should be pulled out more for Gerwalk mode. But to me, I prefer to push it back in a little to make more anime-accurate and somehow lock the legs in place. TANK MODE Note: I didn’t flip the hand for the Tank mode. It’s kinda look more ‘tank-ish’ this way for me without showing the hands.

VF-4G in fighter mode... FTW. I really wish before I retire from this hobby there will be an official VF-4G Flashback 2012 version. Well, and a 'reworked' YF-21.

No plans according to Mr.K of Arcadia to re-release the Ghost Booster. Didn't mention also if there's going to be a set down the line for this. And yes, it's backward compatible. Same thing with YF-19 for the Fold Booster. No news if they're going to release the Fold Booster as a separate set. By looking on Arcadia's release, I think they're more careful now instead of flooding the market release after release. If ever there's going to be a set down the line, we'll never know for sure until they announce it officially. So for now, in order for us to complete the set, it's better to hunt down those individual sets from Yamato releases. And that's what I did for my YF-19 and for the upcoming VF-0S.

Too bad this went by under my radar during the first release. Was not into collecting Macross 1/60 back then. I started I believe when Yamato folded so I paid $200-300 most on my first 1/60 v2 VF-1 valks. Never again will I pass up on anything new or anything that I really like even the price is astronomical. I will do my best to buy it so that I will not regret in the future for not buying it cheap. So Arcadia, if ever you're reading this, rerelease VF-4G. As for now... VF-4G + Kanedas Bike = Holy Grail.

Just noticed on the picture that the leg packs are somehow 'thin'-looking.

Great pics Renato. I might say that once you get the hang of transforming it back and forth, you're going to feel like you're transforming a VF-4G or the Mospeada Beagle figure. And I only found out this weekend that once you used those 'anime-accurate' added parts, it really helps a lot. I find that Gerwalk and Orgroid is the best mode for this figure. Wish I really have lots of money so I can buy another one. But for now, I really wanted to see an Orguss 2 or Olson variants. I guess, it's a possibility since most stores are already sold out. Nippon-Yasan already increased the price to Y36000 something. And some scalpers are already increasing the prices via auction. Here's to hoping. Yeah, even those famous japanese toy bloggers such as Hachakka and Schizo hasn't put any. Guess it's not their cup of tea, eh.

Yup. Same sentiments of everyone here since Page 1. We're hoping somehow a cut of Y5000 or Y8000 from 0D's MSRP. I guess, the price has something to do with 'fixing-the-diecast-joint-and-not-to-use-half-metal-half-plastic-from-VF0D-and-tell-people-that-it-cost-money-to-revise-it' this time. It's already on pre-order at SideshowToys since Monday or last weekend, I believe. And from what I understand, it's an exclusive release. Probably, only available at SideshowToys for overseas. And convention exclusive at Hong Kong. The only difference from the Iron Man 3 War Machine Mark 2 release, I think, is the new color paint, and a helmeted head sculpt of Don Cheadle. Which IMHO, the best Cheadle's likeness there is.

I agree technoblue. Like you said, the Megahouse Orguss has some problems and also expensive. And yet they delivered a good quality product inspite of some flaws. And the pricing nowaways, I think that's standard now. People are still gonna buy no matter how cheap and expensive the hobby is. Let's face it, there's no 2 to 3 companies that's making the same product at the same time. People doesn't have a choice. What's available out there is the only thing that we're going to get. Right now, we really can't say anything just by basing it on the picture. We see this, we see that. We notice this, and we notice that. Probably what's Evolution is doing here is give us a good looking fighter and at the same time a good looking battroid as well. In a world of transforming toys, we're not going to get a 'perfect' one even if we pay a lot of money. There's always going to be a 'limit'. Right now, let's just wait and see what the other 2 big guns wouldn't touch. Let's give EvoToys a chance. I agree also, Mr. March and ChaoticYeti. This is probably the only VF-2SS in 1/60 scale that we're going to get. And I'm happy that they're going to put some diecast in it. Not a big fan of MacrossII, but I'm definitely going to get this. It's 1J's color. And besides, in case people doesn't like it, sell it after. Right? But make sure you 'swoosh' it around first. It might change your mind after...
