  1. Great job Mr. Cheng! Love the subtle look of the decals. Btw, I notice the different shade of beige on the shoulder swivel part and the wing joint that connects to the thigh. Is this because of the top coat or just the lighting effect only? Thanks.
  2. That's a big probability.
  3. Based on the previous 0D valk, it lasted almost a month prior of release date. That's why I'm happy with Arcadia releases than Bandai's. PO time is not that hard for Arcadia releases.
  4. Hahaha! I'm thinking the same thing, spanner. Should I buy PS4 just for Batman Arkham Knight game. But overall Macross 30 is a great game. Fun to play with. Not so sure regarding replay value though. I started the New Game Plus thing months ago and somehow got tired of playing it again just to get the upgraded blueprints. But flying the Valk is so cool.
  5. Rest assured, it's lower than 0D.
  6. You're welcome Keiichi. Glad to be of help.
  7. Hey Keiichi. Sure. I can do that with the best of my knowledge without the help of pictures. Basically, we really need to hide that black dot in order to flush in the legs inside the bay so that the bay door will close properly. In order to put back the legs inside from Gerwalk or Battroid mode. After you straighten the legs from Gerwalk, you will notice the black dot on the side of the knee joint. And this is the part where you say, 'I already did pushed the knee back from Gerwalk'. Remember that in Gerwalk mode, the knee extends to expose the rotating joint area. After you pushed the joint back in, you really need to push one more to hide the dot. The best way to do that is, hold the upper leg area (thigh) with one hand, while the other hand is holding the lower leg area, and at the same time, put your thumb at the back of the knee joint. With a little force from the thumb, try to push the knee joint upward, the same motion when you push back the joint to hide the extended rotating joint from Gerwalk. Once you successfully pushed that back in, you will hear a 'click' sound. And voila! The dot is already hidden at the edge of the thigh part. Hope that helps. Let me know the outcome.
  8. Cool! No need to use paint or marker.
  9. Yup. Get YF-21 now. Then sell it later if Arcadia decides to redo it. That's what I'm going to do with my other one. Even if I need to sell it cheap. Coz I got it bargain too.
  10. As always, Saburo. Great pics!
  11. Ab Crunch, I think is a possibility if they use the same approach on the Gerwalk joint on the pelvic/thigh area between the canopy and the nosecone section where the black lines reside. The front landing gear resides under the canopy. Under the nosecone is the locking dock for the legs. But keep in mind that if they do the Ab Crunch thing, it means that this is not going to be a Perfect Transformation Valk anymore. It needs to eliminate the swivel metal bar. They're probably going to use the Valk Version 1 legs approach here. If they're going to keep the same legs/thigh/pelvic proportion of the Version 2, without that big looking joint socket of the Version 1, and just plug it in in the nosecone, then I'm good. And for kicks, they could also add the rotating nosecone now here too if they decide to do it. What do you guys think?
  12. I never had the first releases of VF-0's so I can't tell the difference. But I would love to know is the transformation went smooth on the old ones compared to VF-0D? And also same question applies on Arcadia's release of VF-1's and Yamato's VF-1's. Were the Arcadia releases of VF-1's are tight as what they are releasing it now like the VF-0D? Thanks in advance.

Gundam fan here too. And yes, Gundam is awesome EXO, give GGundam a chance.
  14. On the last image, that's how it was set-up for Flier mode. Just by using the adapter on the legs, it's already sturdy. It's just that the pole where that adapter is attached to is not attached to the base directly. You need to insert the other arm from the crotch to make that stand work for Flier mode. So I was thinking, if I could just convert that leg adapter as its own adapter (for Flier mode) that can just attach on YetiStand, the better. And a another adapter also for the croth as well as its own adapter (to use for Gerwalk and Orgroid modes) for YetiStand. So basically, those two adapters you see, attached on the legs and on the crotch, on the second picture needs to be its own YetiStand adapters. When I get home, I will try to take photos of each adapters and photoshop it on your YetiStand so you can see what I'm going for. Though it would be nice if it's going to be 'clear' adapters.

True. It's either you cancel your order at HLJ which is much easier to do than Amiami. Or totally ignore your order at Amiami and just pray that they don't put your infos on their blacklist.
  16. Those are nice Yeti! By the way, do you have the Megahouse Variable High Spec Orguss figure? If not, what's the best way of making a custom adapters for that one? Do I need to send you the actual stand/adaptors or pictures will do? Thanks in advance.

    What just happened?
  18. Agreed. And for a newcomer on Macross to sell a $250-ish Valk, I really wish they've included the SAP. But like I said form my earlier post, no matter what, as long that this version has the red stripe, I'm still going to get it, SAP or No SAP.
  19. What are the chances that Arcadia will do the rotating or swivel crotch area for more posability? Would that mean, back to Version 1 crotches? Removing leg parts? IMO, I really don't mind if ever they go back to that method to have more posability but I wish that they still keep the quality and durability of the figure if they will consider that. Though I know a LOT will not agree on that one.
  20. I know. I strained too much on forcing it since I didn't know about that black dot thing in the back section of the knee. After 7 hour of wrestling, i lost my head and bam, more strain and crack plastic. I also watched a lot of YF-21 transformation online but never have I encounter one that says about that black dot thing. And when I check back the manual and the flyer insert, I noticed that and just try to push back more the knee until the black dot is hidden, and there it goes the 'smoothest' valkyrie transformation ever. And yeah, good thing I found another one. And the exploded one will stay in Fighter mode along with my other extra Arcadia YF-19 loaded with their Fast Packs and Fold Boosters. Not a big fan of delimiter mode. But yeah, so sleek, the Battroid is not anime-accurate anymore. Hehehe. But I gotta say it's one of Yamato's best looking engineering valk aside from the classic VF-1's.
