  1. Good to know. Hope you PO'ed one now. True. But they missed out on doing that to the just released VF-1J/GBP so I don't think they will do that if ever there's going to be another VF-1's reissues/re-releases. Even if it's not black but a darker shade of the main color will do for me. (e.g. White Valks = Grey / Blue Valks = Dark Blue / Brown Valks = Darker Brown, and so on and so forth.)
  2. That's ok, Saburo. It's always been Arcadia's fault on giving us different shades of white. But raw or processed, your shots are one of the best. +1
  3. As always... great pic, Saburo. But... how come I see 'pink' and 'green'? What are you doing, Arcadia formerly Yamato? VF-1 valks should be White.
  4. I just got it from Mech9's site: http://www.mech9.com/2012/07/yamato-160-vf-1-no-paint-kit-w-bonus.html Hope that helps.
  5. Cool. I haven't seen that one. 2 Gunpods would look nice. Link kinda broken so I'm putting the direct twitter link: https://twitter.com/jn2qrz4/status/606417682737459201
  6. I'm just guessing here. The fin you're referring to is the small fin in red and white near the leg's landing gear, correct? If so, DO NOT GLUE that part when you insert that back in. Since you need to pull that out a little in order to fold the fin and put the GBP leg armors. Look at the picture below (Section 2-09). The F14R/F14L parts says 'No Glue'. Just insert that back in and it's good to go. Anyways, hope that helps. No need to call AmiAmi.
  7. Thanks spanner! Glad you liked it. I'm so liking it too. But that means my VF-1S Hikaru is not going to have a Strike Packs now. If it's going to get re-released and 'cheap', I'll probably order a set and paint it too GBP colors including the gold/copper color to the boosters too. But for now, I'll probably swap the packs from time to time depends on the mood. Hehehe. But firepower-wise, this configuration looks great! Imagine if it displayed along with the 'missile effect' parts.
  8. Thanks loko77. Glad you liked it. I was imagining this configuration if it's doable. But the only gripe is that they have a different color sets. That's why I change the Strike Packs color in Photoshop and added that gold/copper color in the boosters too. And yes, I agree that if they did this in the anime it will be an instant hit because of the firepower factor. And yeah, I was looking for those 'option parts' but... Yeah, that's going to be a hassle just by thinking about it. That's why most of the guys here always advice on using HLJ for its great customer service. I haven't tried it since it's been awhile since I purchased something with HLJ. And for those purchases years ago, I didn't have problems with it. But my other upcoming VF-19 Advance will be coming from them so let's wait and see if that item will have its own problem for me to experience to call HLJ's customer service reps.
  9. Thanks abbadon! the only thing that will throw you off is the colors. Unless, you'll paint the strike packs into the GBP colors. Or you could just Photoshop it, like I did. Hehehe. Wow! That's a good catch! Hope you snag Max under $100 too.
  10. Great photos Sixtybucks and Spiff! My DUAL STRIKE ARMORED VALKYRIE in action!
  11. Got this today. My DUAL STRIKE ARMORED VALKYRIE. Edit: Just the VF-1J/GBP set.
  12. Finally! Got mine today. I might say my initial reaction on the white is... there is really a 'pink' hue to it. Though I'm a little bit disappointed since I was expecting that the ejected pilot seat is included based on their webpage product info. Oh well... Anyways, presenting... DUAL STRIKE ARMORED VALKYRIE. Just so everyone knows... I don't know how to Photoshop.
  13. Welcome aboard loko77. And great start on your collection.
  14. Usually, the bike now goes around $1000 over at eBay. It was initially released around $300-400(?) just the bike itself. Not sure how much the initial price with the additional cowling set. Size-wise, they're one-sixth scale. Same size at Hot Toys though this one is made by Medicom/Bandai joint venture. Hence the title Project BM! Kaneda figure was made by Medicom and the bike itself was made by Bandai. The bike features diecast parts, some LED lights and sound. It's a great masterpiece on its own. But ofcourse this will not be complete if you don't have the Kaneda figure. Here's a video review:
  15. Need to pay NY before the 16th. Just waiting for HLJ payment request too. Oh well... see you soon DX VF-19 Advance! Can't wait to check and compare you with your Arcadia brother.
  16. Cool! Congrats David! Did you got that from the link I sent you? Anyways, great purchase! I really envy you this time. That's also part of my list when it gets cheaper. But looks like it will not. Hehehe. Post some pix when you decided to open it.
  17. Awesome poses, Spiff! Love the leg spread on 171Ex.
  18. Oh how I really wish they would release Mei's VF-27 soon.
  19. From what people including me posted before besides the sharp pointy wings: - out of the box, one part of the feet might pop off due to not properly glued. - misaligned tampo on the intakes. - expect that all the joints are tight esp the knee from fighter to gerwalk. - pulling the feet for gerwalk is super tight. - watch out for the head's antennae while transforming it to battroid. - be careful pulling and rotating the arms and feet from fighter mode to other modes from paint scratching. - watch out also when you try to pull the thigh for more articulation. I think that's it.
  20. It's weird that Bandai hasn't released any transformation video of the VF-19 Advance just like they did with YF-30 and Luca's VF-171Ex before the release date. Knowing that this is a 'new' valkyrie and has different transformation sequence.
  21. I know I impulsively PO'ed another one from that HLJ 'glitch' and I guess, good thing that I did since I will have a backup or just display in one fix fighter mode, and the other for battroid or gerwalk. And lastly... hope the price will go up. Hahaha! j/k
  22. Yeah, I agree. That's a good price there. Great catch!
