Great collections NOD. Didn't realize that one LED lamp at the top is enough to light up the bottom part of the shelf. Thought you need separate lamps for each shelf. Nice. I guess, it's really time to invest on those Detolf cabinets.

Thanks Kurisama. Looking forward to this. I assume, the new legs would be Gerwalk-compatible? And will the Fast Packs can be fitted to the underbelly bay doors as well? Looking forward too if you're going to make an alternative Gunpod that looks like Arcadia's for the Bandai VF-19 Advanced and for the Arm Cannon too. Anyways, good luck Kurisama. Looking forward to your project.

Yup, there is. And you're good at it. It's called Photoshopping. Hahaha! j/kGreat photos by the way, "$60". Nice RX-78-2, Yeti. Is that the GFF The Origin release? -
Cool! VF-22's legs! Hope it's YF-21 compatible as well, Kurisama. Looking forward to it. Btw, any plans on refitting the Arm Cannon on Bandai's VF-19 Advanced?

Nice, OzmaLee74! Looks like everyone is enjoying their VF-19 Advanced. From people who's having hard time to transform it, like me. To the people who doesn't encouter any problems transforming it. Guess, that's one great Valkyrie out there. Congrats guys on our VF-19! Happy 4th of July!

Thanks abbadon. Yeah, better get one while it's still available. The normal suit is already sold out. And for the half-price, it's great. Yup, had that problem too. Visor that keeps on popping out. Belt that's loose. Wrists, not a problem on mine. They're so tight. Already pulled the head from the Normal suit and put it in the Flight suit. Though I need to adjust the neck to sit it properly. Also by pulling the head, i accidentally broke the dog tag that came with it. Hardly noticed that there was a dog tag underneath the fabric collar. Hehehe. Which it's ok since it was hidden under the fabric collar. No regrets. Hehehe. I got it from the RobotechStore site. http://robotechstore.myshopify.com everything is on discount. grab one now. -

Finally, my second VF-19 Advanced arrived today from Nippon-Yasan along with some RobotechStore purchases. Happy to see that the underbelly plate is not crooked as my first one from HLJ. Hikaru Ichijo Normal Suit from PopBox. Love the face. Hikaru Ichijo Flight Suit. Not too fond on the head on this one but the suit rocks. Esp the helmet. I might say, just for the helmet, the 50% OFF on this figures is really really worth it. I'm planning on buying a second Normal Suit Hikaru so that I could replace the head on the Flight Suit. But when I get back to their site, the Normal Suit is already Sold Out. -
Hi. Just wondering if anyone here already used a Glow In The Dark paints to their model kits and other stuff? Can you tell me if there's something clear or transparent glow in the dark paint available and what brand and where I can buy it? I'm thinking of a small project that somehow require to use a Glow In The Dark paint rather than me busting out the figure to put LED lights into it. Esp if the figure wears plastic/rubbery clothes. The plastic garment already have a yellow color which I would still like to use as its base color. So what I'm thinking is to light up that section (yellow part of the garment) a little when placed in a dark room. I'm also looking for glow in the dark paint that comes in 'clear blue'. So basically, what I'm looking for is something that I could just paint it on top of the said color part of the figure. Anyways, hope you can point me to the right direction. Thanks so much.

Oh. That's right. The armor modes. My bad. Thanks for that, Yeti. -
Sorry to see that, Moosey. So the tailfin doesn't have a circular tab where it connects to the hinge? Hope HLJ will reply to your email soon. Now, have to check my 2nd one tonight just in case. By the way, just to update everyone out there who still doesn't get any copies from the top 3 online shops. It's from Plamoya and SolarisJapan. Sad to say, it's already $260 and $240 respectively. And that's without shipping yet. Anyways, good luck!

Congrats David! Make sure there's no stain in that tissue paper. lol Hahaha! You're not alone in that category, Jenius. I spent more than an hour too to put it back to Fighter mode. As for the shield ascending, you can hold the shield while it's attached to the arm and to rotate it down a little (and the arm as well) to make it straight. In that effect, it will also help to align the shield rail properly besides the head. Check if the leg's tabs are properly inserted to the side of the back area. And try to squeeze a little holding both locking tabs of the wing gloves together. Hope that helps. What?! No 3 modes display on this bird for you, Spanner? Thanks mickyg. I didn't know there was so much difference in it. I only assumed the difference would be where the wings are inserted. But overall, The Advanced is more 'squarish' looking on the edges not as curvy looking than the regular ones. And the tip of the booster, the white part, is thinner. Hmmm... When you still have the 1/72 YF-19 in display? But kidding aside, for me, YF-19 is the next best thing that happened after VF-1. Hear that, Arcadia? Oh and Bandai too. We'd love to see what's your take on 21/22. Probably, they will wait for Arcadia's 21 release first, then make their own 'SMS' themed 21 by flourishing what's Arcadia's done on their renewal. Hehehe. Squishy time. Wait until you attached the legs Fast Packs and worry where to hide the locking tabs on the upper part of the wing glove as well. And YES, transform it!

Great purchases, guys! Lolicon, why do you need 6 25F's? There were only 3 modes. -
Me too. As much as I like Bandai's effort on this one and bought two VF-19's, I will also not replace my 2 Arcadia's.
-
I'm not sure if Bandai will reissue a VF-25G from their VF100 line. They might however release Valks from the Frontier down the line if Hi-Metal R will be successful. Let's pray it will since most of the guys here are looking forward for the Destroids releases.

Cool figure. My sister loves Card Captor Sakura though she doesn't collect figures. Anyways, there's already an existing MaxFactory Figma thread, maybe you want to show your collection there as well. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=25242

Here you go, wmkjr. Length-wise and thickness, they're the same. Corner edges wise, it's more squarish looking on the Advanced Bossters. And the major difference is the wing slot middle section area. Almost the same tampo prints except the SMS on the Advanced Boosters are bigger. And the tip on the Advanced Booster is thinner than the regular boosters. Hope that helps.

Hey guys. I know this is an old thread. But I just want to ask how good the DYRL PS3 game is for the Hybrid one? And also for the Wings of Goodbye Hybrid? I found two on sale and I'm hesitant to get it since for sure it's not on-par with the Macross30 game. And how long the game is? Thanks in advance.

Ok, somehow I get it. But does that mean, if the licensee pays more to produce from the licensor, would that mean that they can just get the updated designs made by the other competitor/licensee? I know the licensee pays to produce a product with the agreement from the licensor. Now if another licensee pays to the licensor to produce somehow the same product but with a different model name because somehow fans gets so giggly for seeing it for 5 seconds, would this licensee be entitled to somehow use the design made by the previous licensee? Even though the licensor gave the go signal since they 'owned' the said design from the previous licensee based on their terms, what royalties the previous licensee gets if the new licensee use their design, right? I mean, why not Arcadia/T-Rex offers the Advanced Boosters as an exclusive web order instead? You know, just like a give and take situation. Would Bandai 'interferes' since they paid more? I'll call that 'cheating' instead of reaping. Hahaha! But yeah, I must admit I'm interested to see a Bandai YF-21 to go with their VF-19. not everyone was able to jump on that deal and right after they ran out of stock, everywhere else the price was inflated to $200+ before shipping.EMS was more like $25-ish on HLJ, and there is also foreign transaction fee of about $5 from paypal (just checked with my bank). True. Not everyone get a chance on getting it the first preorder night. And some got it after the mark up price which I did. Why don't you just ask the seller first where he bought it so that you'll know since he mentioned that he's already selling it lower. It wouldn't hurt if you just PM him instead. By the way, is the $185+shipping from that site you mentioned is still available? If yes, better get it before it's gone. If not, then just wait if something pops up on the stores or on the 'For Sale' threads. Anyways, good luck on your hunt.
-
Sometimes I wonder, like how many preorders each stores need to fill before they close it? Does the manufacturer give them certain numbers at first? Or stores just reserves certain numbers for preorder just in case buyers starting to cancel or ignore their preorders before the release date? In this process, does the product considered as 'made to order' based on the numbers? Because for sure, they will not produce a thousand when the shops will just sell a couple of hundreds, right? Oh well, this is the reason why I decided to be a Graphic Artist instead.

That's so awesome, Xigfrid. Can I ask what's the material used on the one that you received? Thanks.
-
So, if that's the case, what's stopping Arcadia or T-Rex to ask Big West to mass produced their YF-19's Advanced Boosters, when Big West already approved the passed-on design from Arcadia to Bandai to produce their VF-19 Advanced (e.g. the Fast Mode wing bars, etc.)? I know Arcadia/T-Rex can't release the boosters in so many quantities due to Bandai owning the Frontier license, then how come Bandai mass produced the VF-19 by using some Arcadia's design input? Weird legality issues, right? Max928 is already selling his. Better grab it now. Good luck.

Interesting. Bandai replied to its customers by giving warning on some delicate parts on the VF-19 Advance by encircling them in the attached photo. That's nice. Reposting here Anubis' posted pic. Cropped and enlarged. - Head lasers - Upper chest area (black and red stripes) - Tubes under the chest area - Collapsed neck cover on the shield - Machine gun housing on the wing attached to the hips (probably on paint or part scratching when put back to Fighter/Gerwalk modes. - Wing body that holds the folder wing for paint scratching - Leg fins

I, for one, did listen to it which I already mentioned it before. And I'm still going to get it. Yeah.
