Oh man. Now, you're making me get the 0A too. Hahaha! Well, I don't think it's made to order per se. It's just that with their current prices going on, people are so careful buying Arcadia valks compared to Bandai's more affordable prices.
-
No worries on the preorder madness, brouken. This is an Arcadia release and not Bandai's. Oh man. Not so sure now if I'm going to get the 0A for the Ghost Set. This time, I really don't want to have 2 of the same bird (well, in exemption of Arcadia YF-19 ofcourse, since I already sold my extra Bandai's VF-19 ), now I felt I'm obliged to get the 0A for the Ghost Set. Just to display both sets. Instead of getting two VF-0S. Would it be best just to get one VF-0S, and just displayed it either with Ghost Set or Reactive Armor parts on, depends on my mood? Hehehe. By the way, who used the Ghost Set more? Shin or Roy?

I agree, Spanner. But come to think of it, even the toy makers lacked consistency. Remember the color Blue incident?

Oh yeah. That's true. I always like the Votoms OP song. -
Thanks Jenius and Exo. So 1/24 is kinda small. Hmmm... have to wait now what scale is the one that's coming from Fewture. I kinda like the 1/15 scale so that it will be displayed better with the 1/60 Valks.

Thanks jvmacross for the scale comparison. Kinda look ok when displayed together. As for the back part of the nosecone area, didn't notice that from your early post. Looks like HG missed that part.
-
How big were the 1/15 from Yamato before? Any idea how big will be this new 1/24 Garland? Sorry for my questions. Didn't have any Garlands figure before. Thanks.

Hahaha! I remember like how you felt like how slow it is on waiting. Now I want the VF-0S and the Reactive Armor to be released at the same time. Now, I'm thinking since I already bought a Ghost Set before for the upcoming VF-0S and now a Reactive Armor will get released, does that mean in order to display both, I need to buy the VF-0A too? Or just get two VF-0S instead?
-
Good thing I saved the extra budget for an extra VF-4G and sold my extra VF-19 Advance for these upcoming Valks and... Reactive Armor. So excited now. Now, I understand Spanner's feelings. Hahaha!
-
Kinda like the black now. I know it's 1/100 scaled, but how big they are besides the 1/60 VF-1's? Thanks. None taken, dear sir. Just pointing out my opinion regarding figures and our collections.

Nice! If this is the only way to get a painted cheap SDF-1, count me in. And the 17cm size is just perfect for work space display. And looking at the drawing having no 'arms', does that mean we can get 2 version one TV style and one DYRL style? That would be awesome if ever.

Great purchases everyone! My haul this month. Play Arts Kai FFVII Advent Children Cloud Strife. Microman Chirico Cuvie. Takara DMZ-05 Scopedog Turbo Custom. I really like my first Takara DMZ Scopedog even though it's hard to balance it. I know I'm late into this game, but this one is still worth it. I prefer it over the Yamato one due to weathering and tampo. Size wise it's really perfect with the rest of my collections. Now waiting for DMZ-02 and another Microman Chirico Cuvie figure since the one I bought didn't came with the pilot helmet head so I bought a different version. Thanks to Jenius for all his opinions and insight on this Votoms figure. Check the rest of his Votoms reviews on his website: http://anymoon.com/blog/?cat=76 -

As per first post on Page 1, this thread is for COMPLETED and SOLD Macross items only. If the sale is still open, it's best to post it in the 'Where to Buy' section: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showforum=13

I'm IN! Didn't know there was a separate thread for this. Hahaha!
-
Reactive Armor? Yes! Bring it on, Arcadia! Woohoo! My bad. Didn't notice that there was a separate thread for this.

It's ok, Spanner. I mean, if you're still on the fence on this one, you can still PO and then cancel later if ever they decide on putting out more photos before release. Go with HLJ on this one for easy cancellation. Right now, for me, besides the comment I posted earlier is I have a feeling that it will be awhile before we see another decent VF-2SS in 1/60 scale. Like Graham said earlier, he bugged Yamato for a long time to do a VF-2SS. And coming from their mouth, they recognize that Macross II is not as popular to make them. And I have a feeling that they will just produce a quantity of numbers based on the preorders. Well, here's to hoping on a decent VF-2SS in the future. Or any valk from the Macross II.

Yes I am. There will be regrets for sure if the figure is not great looking but there's still the satisfaction of owning a VF-2SS. I never own one even the old model kits, even resin kits. I know I'm not a big fan of the anime series but I do like the Valk design of it. I know it's hard to compare it to the big two. But I will give them a shot. I just hope that in the future they will release a SAP pack.

Well, who am I to resist Hikaru in 1/6 scale, right? And besides, it's not a wrong direction to buy anime dolls esp if it's as hot as Sheryl, right? As long that you're collecting it and just displaying it, that's fine. Now if you're going to buy it and use it for 'something else', then there's something wrong with you. Buying an anime dolls, doesn't label you as 'perv'. It really depends on one's motive. If I have lots of money, I will also collect every variants of Sheryl, Ranka, and Minmay just to satisfy my Macross love. Just saying. And also saying that actions figures are just dolls for guys, is like saying toys is just for kids. I think it's safe since I bought the Hikaru figures from them directly. They're prompt and they replied to my emails, so I guess it's ok. And yes, there's no paypal so I used my credit card directly. Hope that helps. If you're on a fence somehow, just buy something that has a small amount just to try it. However, you can still complain to your credit card if ever. Yup, the light up one, you can't remove the helmet. Though you can open the upper part from what I've read. But the lower part and the face are glued together somehow because of the LEDs.
-
I don't think it did. I could be wrong though. But imagine from $120+ to $44+. That's why I bought both normal suit and pilot suit. And here's another one. The exclusive pilot suit that lights up, it goes up to $200 over at eBay. On their site right now, it's $49+. Just saying. I'll probably mod my pilot suit that's why I didn't get the fixed helmet light version ($49+).

Thanks. Though I can't remember which shop does that when you pay credit card, they will charge you when the item is available. But when you use paypal, they will charge you instantly.
