How will we deal with our collections?
no3Ljm replied to Tochiro's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Would pass it on to my son. Unless my wife says otherwise. I do let her know the value of the valks I have for today's market and keep on telling her that she could still sell it for a good amount just in case of emergency purposes. -

Nice! VF-25G. -
Probably. Willing to pay as long that it's not above Y50000 and it's the Flashback2012 version.
-
I had a dream too that I'm selling one of my organs just to keep up with my hobbies. Because I also dreamt that the Ivanov release will cost around Y42300.
-
Same as HLJ. I don't worry that much. What I worry is how to finish my Ube Ice Cream at home. Hehehe. Or people will just start using Photoshop and just paint the skull in.
-
Nope. Like I said a few pages ago, the Reactive Armor will not fit on the old Yamato 0S Roy since the old one has wider chest area than the new ones. And this is just basing it on the recent released 0D. Probably it went to the rotating mechanism for the cockpit seats for both 0A and 0S. Only answer comes to mind probably is because of the labor cost and production costs mentioned in the recent blog released yesterday by Mr.K. But yeah, I totally agree with your sentiments. What thin joint connectos? Are you referring on the pelvic joints? I don't think it's thin. It's the same metal bar used in the VF-0D too. True. True. True. If we get it as is, then all we can do is just scratch our head and rant here. Hehehe.

I wonder why they used white again under the hood. I liked what they did to VF-0D and VF-0A which is painted grey. Anyways, hope it's white plastic instead of white paint over so that scratching is not a problem. Hope HLJ will email the payment notification soon.

Yes sir Daddy-O! And not just the Zero-A. Even the Zero-ES. -
Actually, I kind of thinking the same thing. So I will let this one slide since I already have the VF-0D and I have the Ghost originally for the VF-0S. It's the announcement of the Reactive Armor that really made me get the VF-0A as well so that it will be displayed together with the VF-0D along with the Ghost. And if ever they closed down or shut down their mecha division it might take some time again for another company to pick this up esp with the quality that they're making. And if ever they stay afloat and still doing valks with that SRP price in their mind, I don't think I could still support it even though they will just reproduce and reissue old valks with that SRP as their standard from now on. Bandai on the other hand will be busy for sure on the newer stuff such as the upcoming new series so I don't think they will focus that much on the older series. Oh well. It's good while it lasts.

Thanks Jasonc. Looking forward to it. Congrats! -
Oh. So you already have one. Thought you don't have one since it's not in the picture.

Hey Jasonc. Can you post a picture of the song plate, please? I've seen some online before but not sure if it's the same. And I'm curious how it looks like in real life. Thanks in advance. -

That is probably true. But no worries, we live in the age of remakes so we're probably going to hear of an announcement of MGS1 for PS4 soon after the hype on the MGSV dies down.- 395 replies

Yeah. I kinda tried that one too and figure out most of things. I just hope that this is not the end for them since it's not confirmed if they have the license back again nor announce what's the next Valk after the 0S. But one thing I'm sure is that I'm all set since I didn't get most of the variants and I'm just concentrating somehow on the red and black stripe motif thing. So for now, I'm all good. And since I have a feeling that their standard prices nowadays is kinda high, might as well pass on the rest of them. But if ever they will reissue again some, I might reconsider if the price is right. Anyways, that price with BIg in Japan is cheaper with shipping included. But I haven't tried them yet so I don't know anything regarding customer services just in case there will be problems in the future. Will go with HLJ for now. When that happens, time to sell the single released VF-0S then. But that will be next year so if ever there's time again to save. I'm just glad that I preordered both VF-2SS and VF-0S over HLJ so I can somehow save some fees from shipping.

Oh man... Now I'm thinking the same thing too. Edit: I guess, I will still continue all my VF-0 PO's including the upcoming Reactive Armor. I have a feeling that this will be their basic pricing from now on because of all those price increases. And for now, I almost got all my wanted Valks including the ones from Bandai DX lines so I think I'm good and set... for now. The only thing I'm just going to wait for them is to reissue the VF-4G (FB2012 or not). If not, and if they're just going to reinvent the VF-1's again for Ver 3, then I'll still look forward to it since I'll probably just going to buy 3 VF-1's. Hikaru's VF-1J, VF-1A, and VF-1S. Anyways, looking forward to the VF-0A and VF-0S.

Care to share what you can translate from his blog. Curious too since my Nihonggo is not that good anymore. Last I spoke Nihonngo was way back in the mid 80's and I'm not 10 back then to remember everything. Preordered as well at HLJ!!! And yes, I will be pissed too. Hahaha!

True. I know what you mean. I would be glad too if they somehow offer those replacement parts overseas as well. But I guess that's the price to pay of what HG did. I mean, would it made a difference if HG didn't act too greedy on certain properties that they didn't created in the first place? Wow! That's kinda high. Well, I already bought VF-0D and VF-0A so I guess I need to get this too then. Good thing I'm just planning on getting one. With that price though, I'm now scared to replace the yellows with reds. Hahaha! Hey Arcadia! Make sure you release the Reactive Armor not bundled, ok.

Love your description, MacrossJunkie. Don't worry derex. You can just let it melt and when it's not that cold anymore you have your own smoothie to go.

Yeah. Cool Max colored Valks there. Any plans on getting Max's VF-1A DYRL version?

Then Spanner needs to come up with one. Ube/Avocado flavor topped with Cannon Fodder bits.

You have to remember that the feet design of the VF-0/1's is totally different design from the YF-19/VF-19's feet. VF-0/1's is more blocky than the 19's. In order to have a good ankle articulation, they need to do something that Bandai did on their model kit recently. Now, if they're going to add 'pull more of the ankle joint' then it's not accurate anymore from the line art original design. This is the only way for VF-0/1 to have more ankle joint articulation: First of all, we're not part of their market. They don't cater directly to customers who lives outside japan. It's the retailers who sells it abroad. And we're just lucky the way it is. And probably one reason also is that they just stay away from HG's. We're not sure also how are they doing within their market reach -- inside Japan. Like how many did they sold just within their community? We don't know for sure unless someone from the retailers or insiders tells us that they sold more outside Japan. Anyways, I'm just glad that there's a way for us to buy Macross goodness.
