That's what I remember too, Yeti. It's the reason why I bought one of the remaining ones posted in Amazon months ago. Thanks! As always, great review.

Basically, it's kinda the same without the open world aspect. Though what I really like with the PSP Macross games is that it has almost ALL the valks from different series. Imagine yourself riding the VF-4G, VF-2SS, Cutlass, and other valks.

Atleast it's the photo and not the wrong blue that made you bought the 0D.

I agree that YF-30 is perfect for Cannon Fodders. Budget-wise they will save a lot of money doing the CG drawings. Once all the missles goes Itano Circus, they're eventually get shot down and explode and cut the scene. Whereas if you use YF-29 as a Cannon Fodder, there will be no excuse for that one to get shot down after the missles went out since it's going to use more of the barrel cannons and lots of knife stabbing action as well. OT: My VF-19 Advance joints are still tight as well. And he's in Gerwalk mode.

I agree. But if ever they did come out with lots of fighter valk products with full detail and gimmicks, I want it in 1/72 scaled. 1/100 is too small and 1/60 is too big for me. And should be mounted hanging in the ceiling.

Hey abbadon. Thanks. Actually that's my first VF-4G from Kanedas Bike. I'm waiting for my 2nd one that I bought from FromJapan last week. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow. No! No Ghost renewal! After I've spent $140 for it. Wait, was it 120 or 130? Hahaha! Wait. Are all head laser on some of the guys are crooked? Didn't notice that. Have to check it later. I haven't tried and checked on the legs esp the hip joints. Kinda scared to pull it. Hahaha! Paint scratches, none so far. But I have to watch out for the contacts between the metal bar and the wings in Battroid mode.
-
Thanks Spanner! Yeah, I love to pose it with the VF-4G. Love the neutral colors on this two. Thanks wmkjr. For the one besides the Ghost, yup, I did wrap it in tape in Battroid mode. Actually, that's the major gripe I have. I mean, Arcadia already decided to use the Ghost sets for this release, I just hope that they matched all the pegs for it. I also saw some negative comments from the Japanese market via Twitter about it. It would have been perfect if all the tanks and pods fits. Thanks abbdon. I don't regret buying the Ghost months ago prior of VF-0A release, even the pods and tanks doesn't fit perfectly. Hahaha!

Sharing VF-0A love during the labor weekend. Sorry about the picture quality. By the way, not sure if I already mentioned this but the missile pods and tanks from the Ghost Booster set is pretty loose since the hard point peg holes from the Arcadia release is bigger. The only thing that really fits from that set is the Ghost itself though you just really need to squeeze the Ghost canards in. Last I checked, there's no stress marks on my Ghost canards. I'm loving the Ghost on the VF-0's. Note here that the metal bar at the back is not straight and locked towards the body when the Ghost Booster is mounted. And don't try to lock it in, you might damage the backpack.
-
That's what I did since you can't put the Ghost canards at the same time while squeezing it since the space is tight compared to the Yamato one. Even though you put it one at a time, you need to squeeze the other one to put it in. Regarding stress on the Ghost canards, I can't guarantee 100% that it's safe. I need to check mine later. If you guys are worried that it will give stress to your Ghost canards, then my advice is don't do it. I only just shared what I did to make it work since I plan on putting the Ghost Booster on my VF-0A. At this point in time majority knows that the new VF-0's back is not as wide as the old Yamato VF-0's. So if you guys still want to try it then do it at your own risk. It's what I did.
-
It will be the same since the new VF-0A is narrower than the Yamato one. So doing that means you need to squeeze the canards still in order to close the tabs.

Hey seti88. So far it looks ok. No scratch whatsoever on the back part of my VF-0A. Ghost canards is still ok too. But with you mentioning it, I will double check it tonight when I get home. But based on last night's testing, it still fits though you really just need to squeeze the Ghost canards a little just for it to insert it in the tabs. But let me check it tonight if it also created some stress on the Ghost canards. Will update you later.

No! VF-0A first, Saburo! VF-27/Avocado can wait.

And that's three (3) of everything for all the modes. Right, Spanner? Not to mention all the modes of the add-on packs as well. His generation of 'Takatoku' toys.
-
Yeah. But my point was since there was no armaments used by Isamu on that 5sec cameo, Bandai decided to put hard points on his wing. Which goes back to what bongcp45 first posted that he was hoping that V3 of the VF-25's will have hard points on it, in which you replied there was no need since VF-25's didn't use armaments on it. But Bandai still did put hard points on its new mold released Valks.
-
Yeah. Didn't thought of that. If that's the case and they decided on producing option parts for it, I only wish they will make some for Leon's YF-30.
-
Talk about poor quality. Yours looks better than the ones that I've uploaded. Hahaha! Btw, great pics Spanner! Regarding the backpack part. Mine is also like that when it not transformed properly. So what I do is pull it back again, untill those hinge/folding connectors are flushed. It may take awhile but it works. The only thing puzzles me was why there's 2 tabs in the side of the backpacks. I know one slot is for the legs during fighter mode. Would the other slot for the upcoming Reactive Armor? Hmmm. You're welcome brouken. Just be careful though when you put it since you really need to squeeze the Ghost canards to fit it in the slots. Yeah, I just hope Arcadia replaced the brown pods or gave us extra attachments on their new larger hard points slots. Coz they really are loose. That's cool. Thought it's gonna get hold up somehow in the post office. That's great to hear. And yeah, I bought a lot of stuff back then. And I also met the owner. One call to reserve the toy, and boom! It's yours. And I get discounts too. Hehehe. Thanks on the Ghost Booster. That's the second thing I did when I took out the VF-0A after inspecting the paint applications. And be careful when you replace the part on the back, transform it mid-way to battroid in order to take the replacement part. If not, you can't take it off properly in fighter mode. You might damage the cool grey paint. Actually the Ghost Booster will not fall off since you really need to squeeze more the Ghost's canards just to fit it into the slot. And that what makes it tight. I don't think it's as loose compared when attached to the Yamato 0S/A. But the other missile/tanks attachments from the Ghost set is not gonna fit properly on the tabs and even in the wing hard points. Bummer that they marketed before that everything should fits when it really doesn't. But don't get me wrong though. I really love this release inspite of all the flaws. Is it really worth the value after seeing all those flaws? No. But hey, you can't get this anywhere so I'm still happy to have one. Jenius and Yeti already fixed theirs. And I already fixed my VF-0D knee joint. Hehehe. So basically you can fix yours too. And true that the same problem will still be in the upcoming VF-0S. But for what it is now, I'm really decided to get it just in case they fold the Macross division in the foresseable future. I totally agree on the paint. Actually my first impression when I took out the valk the first time from the box, I said to myself that it looks like a 'painted' high-end model kit that needed no transformation. Like everywhere I look it's painted and I'm guessing which is molded in the right color of plastic. Whenever I transform an Arcadia toy is not the same as how I transform a Yamato toy. And I do really like how big he is besides the VF-1's. HUGE! Thanks sh9000! I know it's not as good as Saburo's but I just took some to point out some.
-
Yeah. That's true too. And they didn't even came up with any option parts to replace the missle pod area either even though Kawamori thought of it based on his interview videos.
-
Isamu didn't carry any wing armaments on his VF-19 Advance, was he? But Bandai did put some on his toy valk.
