  1. Also, I remember Mr.K posted on his tweet before that one of the reason why there's less tampo prints so that owners have the chance on customizing their collections. Hence, the stickers that came with it. So basically, there's no guarantee they will ever release those other variants, unless Arcadia starts doing what Bandai do which is 'Vote your Most Wanted List'. For now, all you can is what Chronocidal suggests, get both 0D and 0A and just do your own customization. If you do that, please do post your custom updates here.
  2. Hahaha! Still looking forward to it though.
  3. Still waiting for a Flashback 2012 version.
  4. Nice! Looking forward to it, Veef!
  5. +1. And with this kind of proportion.
  6. Besides the thigh swivel joint, I thought the knee joints were also diecast and the one on the back that folds from the chest are diecast too. Any confirmation on this? Thanks!
  7. @Saburo Great photo as always. Can't help but wonder if George Lucas got inspired from VE-1's head for the Battle Droids. Roger Roger.

Usually it's always the end of the month.
  9. Oh my. I love the details. Somehow it looks more detailed up than the Yamato version. Love to get hold of this. But I hope they put all the weapons and accessories in.
  10. Thanks jvmacross for all your posts and insights. As for the legs resting in Gerwalk mode, I think ET has it right, lineart based wise. That's what I'm thinking too before when they're started showing photos of the toy. And I started looking at the lineart back and forth. If the leg should be more outward like in the Fighter mode. And when I saw some transformation art, I found out that the legs contract under the chest area like VF-1 does like what Bobby pointed out. But hearing good things about it coming from you, I think I will be happy transforming it. Can't wait. Hey jvmacross, did you intentionally didn't flip the rear wing fin for Battroid mode? And how's the back pack thruster sliders are they loose?
  11. Thanks for your insight, jvmacross. Really appreciate it. Can't wait for mine to be shipped from private warehouse. To be fair, it really looks nice besides the VF-1J. Also, I know you didn't transform it yet, but did you ever get a chance on fiddling the main wing joints? If it's tight enough for posing it during Gerwalk mode? Thanks in advance.
  12. Based on the photos we've seen so far, I think they're all the same mold. Only Silvie was noted that it looks like the first prototype they did. There's no news or info yet from Japanese group saying that the final product they received kinda looks like the one in display. I think to make the long story short on this one is that if this is priced as a $100 toy, everyone will dive in in spite of the design and quality of the toy. For sure everyone wants to have their own 1/60 VF-2SS. The only and I believe the sole reason why this is being picked upon is because of the price. And since it has that kind of price it will always be being compared with Bandai and Arcadia Valkyrie releases. Or worst it will always be called the scaled-up updated version of 1/100 Bandai kit.
  13. ~2000-2500 yen for SAL reg~4000-4500 yen for EMS Is this price specific for Bandai DX Valk or Arcadia size boxes?
  14. Any SHADEs of BLUE is perfect in my book.

Y25000 for the Destroid Monster is not bad based on TagHobby post. It's like buying a DX Valk.
  16. Calling all Engineers and 3D Artists out there...
  17. Always is, since YF-19 I think.
  18. No official reason ever given I believe. But one major factor is that it prevents yellowing. Just in case this will become a discussion of the white paint after this, let's jump to QEssential's The White of Yamato and Arcadia thread.
  19. Nice. We just need something to cover that metal bars.
  20. Another set of photos found on Twitter. Probably the same one who posted photos earlier. Just hoping to see someone will post what's 'under' there.
  21. A Roy's custom VF-4G? Curious to see what that looks like.

That's ToysBuddyHK website. I tried asking Gundam@EFSF months ago since he's also based in HK, and I want to preorder something, but he didn't reply yet. Anyone ever purchased on that site?
  23. True. But they do however sell it first for Y35000 MSRP. Like I said in the Orguss thread, if they lowered the price to let's say $200, yes, I will buy another one.
  24. This too. Since I only have a handful of VF-1's (prior of the Arcadia's VF-1 Hikaru) and the rest of my white valks whether Yamato or Bandai is not in-line with DYRL whites. With it besides the rest, they look dirty so that's the reason too why I sold the DYRL.
