Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.
no3Ljm replied to Gakken85's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Congrats! I see that you bought 2. Buy 2 more so that you have one to open, one to cut the landing gear for swooshing, one to keep, and one for you know, just in case. Problem solved for the swooshing one. -
And by the end of 2017 upon the release of Delta movies, Renewal announcements. Anyways, everytime I look at those photos, makes me want to watch Stargate all over again.

Wow! Surprise to see how big Shockwave is. -
That's how it begun with me actually. I'll just buy Hikaru's 1S and 1A with Strike/Super parts in 1/60 scale. Now I have a few of Yamato, a few of Bandai's DX, and so on and so forth. Good luck on collecting just one line of Macross Valk. And hope that you can stay away from temptations.

Sad to say, yes, you are stuck with it. Even if it's unopened, you didn't purchase it from their direct distributors. And you already bought it from a second-hand stores. Do note that usually they only cater to Japanese customers. Locally in other words. So if you don't live in Japan, there's no chance of getting any support from them 100%. And even if you bought it directly from official distributor, you still have 50/50 chance that you will be entertain for refund/replacement. Best example is the recent recall SWS shoulder part from Alto's YF-29 reissue. Even if Bandai announced their mistake and sending out replacement part, it's still depends on the store if they will send it out to foreign countries. Luckily, for people who bought it from HLJ, there's a chance of getting the replacement. Though we still don't know who's going to shoulder the shipping cost.

I think from what I've read on this forum regarding the 1/48 is that the arms really sticks out during fighter mode. Knowing that fighter mode is the best mode in this scale according to most of them since I don't own a 1/48.

Looks like it is. Photo courtesy of Jenius' anymoon.com

The info on that can be found here: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/cms.php?id_cms=37 As for the change of other items concern, so far I haven't had this experience with them. They've been great so far regarding the stuff that I ordered with them. Hope that helps. And you guys are just talking about HM-R releases, right? How about the upcoming DX in between of those couple of months HM-R releases? Hehehe. Like I said, you guy have been WARNED. It's Friday, sir! Happy Friday!

Yes. It was tight during the first few transformations. And after that a little bit loose. It's not super super loose but just loose. Just enough to scare you on posing it without a support. I already fixed mine and you can see what I did in the Macross Maintenance thread. You can also check ChaoticYeti and anime52k8 fixes on this thread as well. And just like I said on the Maintenance thread, "Fix it at your own risk." Hope that helps.

And remember... your wallet is bound to end like this: You guys had been WARNED.

Wait. Kaki misses an upgrade? A CF pilot needs no upgrade. Basically, Kakizaki is just a CF pilot with a name, right? Looks around first, and runs away.

And there's another one. Hahaha! Now, I'm not sure if I NEED to admit that I like her and her music too and Katy Perry's ( ) also.

Thank you. Atleast, I'm endorsing cool looking birds. Hahaha! Don't resist the temptation sir! But yeah, same here, I already have two also from the first release. Wish they should somehow do the other color variants and maybe I'll get another one. Or bundle it with the Frontier Fast Packs.
-
That's good to know. Thanks! Don't toy around... go get it now! Not just one, but two!
-
More or so. And it varies sometimes. There's no definitive scheduling. Sometimes announcement were made a month or less than a month prior of the preorder date. Sometimes they will show some items in one of their shows months before the preorder date. Some of them will get made, and some of them will not. But once you've seen the official promotional photos that kinda looks like the recent VF-1A they've shown, then you'll know that they will announce pretty soon the preorder date. Hope that helps.

Just informing everyone that after an hour it went back to Order Stop.

$.25 ticket admission?
-
Did you transform it to Battroid mode already to not notice the head tilt? Anyways, if it is, it's good to know that they fixed that as well.
-
I haven't opened mine but from what I can see on the arm is the same thing as the VF-25/YF-29's shoulder joint. It has the same metal pin on the swivel part area. One thing I know is that I'm not sure how to make it tight again. Those shoulder joints in my 25/29 is already loose.
-
Ooooh! You MADE me want one now, Spanner. Thanks again for this pic sir!

Congrats! How much is this one? Congrats on your bluebird! I might say it's one of Yamato's fine work. Sleek in fighter mode.
