Since the wings can be rotated, it's an option to leave it as is instead of rotating it I guess when posed in Gerwalk mode. Win-win.

Well, like I said it's already molded in colored parts. So it's up to the buyer whether he wants to paint it more or not. And for sure, if this comes fully painted, then the price is not going to be Y1620. Instead, it's probably the same price as FiguArts Zero which is around Y4500. Actually, you know what, we can always use our respective partners in life make-up kit secretly. Apply it to the kits while they're sleeping since you just need to add probably a little bit of blushes to the cheek and a little bit of red to the lips and after that just spray away with Flat Topcoat and voila! You save more since you probably going to use branded make-up kits.

I don't think it will collapse more. And we're not even sure if that part of the back extend or contract. The mechanic pics has a different angle shots that somehow hides that top back area where the gun is mounted. If you check the 1/72 Gerwalk pix again and compared to the back shot of the DX displayed Battroid mode from a few pages back, you can see that it's almost the same length of the spine. I don't know... It really feels like it has more open spaces when it viewed from the top during Gerwalk mode.

Now, I can see what you're saying. I guess, that's the reason why the pod needs to be 'deployed' then. So that it will take that fatty looking back like a 'Manta Ray' away from your eyes. If that's the case, I'm never going to use those 'boom box' pods.

It seems the this one has more open spaces at the back during Gerwalk mode compared to the VF-171Ex.

This is I presume came from the same line as the upcoming model kit Figure-Rise Bust Kira and Athrun from Gundam Seed that will be available on June. Based on the descriptin, it comes in colored molded parts just like GunPla. You might need to add paint and details if you wanted too. Parts will be matte finish and it has glossy eyes. I'm checking this 1/72 VF-31S Battroid photo from TagHobby. And it shows the waist is kinda in black cylindrical form. Hope if it's the same for the DX version it will be easy to open up if ever that part became loose over time.
