I found the silicon cap sheets afterwards when I was checking all the items. The thing that I was looking for was the 'placement guide' thingy from your instruction manual on how to place properly those silicon caps in the side corners of the base. I assumed the instruction was just for the Alpha and not for the Beta(?). Anyways, it's not a biggie. I'm just glad that the silicon caps was not attached to the Beta stands. Atleast I can check my work table first if it's too slippery without the silicon caps on the Beta first. Will let you know.

Thanks for sharing this David. Love the FB2012 scheme. This is an insta-uy for me if Arcadia will release one.

I know. Remember the VF-0 hip joint replacement mail? It went to a different building address. Atleast this time it ends up in the correct building address. Yup. I'm really glad I bought a set finally. The Alpha supposed to be for my YF-19 and YF-21. But I remember that I put away the boxes and all the adaptors are inside. I might put them this weekend along with their respective Fast Packs and Fold Boosters. As for the Beta, I will set it up in my workplace with the Yamato VF-0S. Will post pics soon of the Beta. By the way, I thought the Beta also comes with the silicon caps. And I was surprise to see that it was included as well. Though your instructions shows how to put them and I was looking for the 'how-to-place' guide thingy from the drawing and I can't seem to find it. Was it included as well? Anyways, all in all, it was good. Hope to save more moolah so I can buy more next time. I'm also trying to find a way for you to have a guide for the Megahouse Orguss figures display stand adaptors since I don't like the connectors that came with the figure set. Anyways, will let you know soon. Again, thanks so much!

You're welcome Loop. Since it has a white stripe on the wings, just use method #3. Apply white circle waterslide decal first then the kite logo afterwards. Thanks also for the clarification on the VF-1J CF white painted areas.

Surprised to receive this today. I'm lovin' it! Now I need to save more for these. Thanks Yeti! -
Thanks tomac66. Good to know. And again, great job on your custom.

I thought the VF-1J CF doesn't have a white stripe along the kite logo on the wing as per this pic. But I remember David posting his 1J. And it has those white stripe on the wing. Can someone tell me which is the official. Thanks. And also, is the actual release has those white paint thingy on the hips sensors like the one above compared to the press release pic?

I'm not a big fan of Mac7 Valks except for that white VF-11C. But if this were made, I'm going to be super curious on how the (. (. ) will collapse during Fighter/Gerwalk modes.

There's 3 method that I can think of. The kite logo is printed on the brown part of the wing, yes? 1. If the plastic is molded with the brown color instead of white, then yes, you can remove the tampo print with some solution, then apply a new kite decal on top of it. 2. If the brown part of the wing is actually painted on white plastic, you can still use some kind of solution but try not to over-apply it since you might remove the brown paint. Apply a white circle decal first since you're just removing most of the center part of the kite logo by using a solution. And once that is applied, you can apply the new kite logo on top of the white circle decal. 3. If you don't want to mess up the wing by using solution to remove the tampo print, and assuming that the wing is painted with brown paint, then you can just apply a white circle decal first on top of the existing ones, then apply a new kite logo on top of the white circle. Just remember that the white circle should be the same size of your kite logo. Hope that helps.

Great custom, tomac66. Loving it.

Good to know that it turned out ok.

True. And that's already Y10K off, let's say compared to 2 years ago.

Thanks for the pic, ArchieNov. That's a good size. Love to get one but I don't want to branch out to other stuff. Ssshh... Spanner might see this. Congrats Spanner! And congrats that it's not a floppy mess right outside from the box. He's just being careful Lolicon. Because with that one flip, it might collapse the whole figure down. Hehehe. Just kidding Spanner. -

Hey David. Sorry for the late reply. To be honest, I just like the design without researching about the figure or story at first. And from what I've just seen online, they're just based on Machine56's designs and also sell some apparels like the 1:1 Bonehead helmet as Saburo mentioned earlier. And I think they're just released in limited amount of numbers. It's kinda a break away from Hot Toys and all those other expensive figures. Though the accessories are kinda limited, but the figure itself and the clothes are somehow superior looking than Medicom RAH. Btw, I found this synopsis posted on toysrevil site. And it featured the out of stock Lime Bones figure. (Wish they would re-release soon since it's cool looking.) "Everyone knew everyone in the future -- not in the real world, but on the internet. The Cognitive, a virtual reality helmet designed by the Vertex Corp., offered the full virtual living experience. Nicknamed the Bonehead by the internet, it was the final world in the wearable tech war. Plugging in with a Bonehead mean you'd never have to leave the internet ever again. And everyone could live happily ever after. But then... the jailbreak version of Boneheads started showing up. A reconfiguration in the system allowed people to spy on other Bonehead users. You could even take over delivery drones and took it for a joyride. You could stop a Smartcar just by looking at it. The Bonehead could only hack and control Vertex Corp's tech or items. The problem was Vertex owned everything. If you wanted to, you could find all the codes for the city's power grid and messed the whole thing up. The potential for chaos was limitless. Who will stop them? Who could stop them?" Not sure if it's the actual storyline for this figure or someone just came up with that concept. Yeah, I like those helmets too. But it's too expensive and to be honest, there's no use for me for the actual ones. So the 1/6th scale is the next alternative. Hehehe. Congrats! Cool wife too. Geeeettttaaaa!!!! -

Great hauls everyone! I don't collect a lot of 1/6. I just buy what I like and still within the budget. Thanks guys! I really like the look of this figure. Simple and unique. Lovin' the helmet actually. I also preordered Bonehead:Black Death to go with this. -
Are you asking about the 1/72 VF-25's? I think they're 19-20cm tall in Battroid mode. Here's a comparison pic of 1/72 VF-25F with 1/100 RX-78-2 Ver.2 from dalong.net Regarding your question between kit and DX figure. It really depends. If you have more budget, then I say go with DX figures since you don't need to paint it. You don't worry everytime about paint scratching (if you paint your kit) when you transform it from one mode to another. And majority there's no parts-forming not like kits.

Nice.

Nice built, Lolicon. Me too. Would love to get one of each Frontier idol for the VF-25's. And Minmay for VF-1's. They should go with the Macross 30 Itasha designs.
