  1. That is sweet! Any chance you asked him when is the next installment for the Macross The First?
  2. Good thing we're just talking about white. But since the color blue is brought up, I'll agree that, yeah, Arcadia is not great with colors. Hahaha! Can't imagine how Spanner will react on a V3 Arcadia VF-1's. Yes sir. It really changes depends on what type of light you uses. There's some time that it looks pinkish and some light tend to give it purple hue. So it's not bright white anymore. True and I agree. The only DYRL Hikaru VF-1A that I have doesn't have yellowing but in some certain light, it also give me different shades of off-white.

You never know sir. You never know.

Wait. You mean to tell me there's an actual valkyries in that show?
  5. But at the end of the day, I think we're all done with DYRL Whites the moment Yamato closed shop. From here on forward it's going to be PinkPurpleWhite.
  6. I like that 'intro' white. Now come to think of it, seeing how the rear landing gear wheel turns on that intro makes me think which is the correct one now?
  7. Nowadays, I really don't mind about the white paint whether TV White or DYRL White as long that it's not prone to easy yellowing, then I'm good.
  8. If it comes with the stand then it will cost more than our arm and leg. And it will have a huge box too. By the way, regarding the use of TV white on the DYRL release is not a big shock anymore since they already did that when Arcadia released their first VF-1's with stands. And it looks like it's going to be that white color from now on. As for the DYRL Strike/Super Parts, as I mentioned a few pages ago, you'll notice that there's a slight hue change on the green color and the missiles are TV white than DYRL white.

Backup you say? Then they really need to make that Valkoroid too.
  10. Actually I did want to buy those books off Mandarake. But I don't have experience on buying books from them. Did you purchase any books from them? If so, how good are they? Like are all pages still in good condition? Yellowing issues? I'm kinda picky when it comes to books, like I really don't like to see creases or folds on the pages. Hehehe.
  11. Probably sticker. There's no indication on the japanese wordings that have the word water though. All it says is Marking Seal.
  12. So I finally browsed this new VF-4 Master File book the other day. And it was ok. I guess I really need to learn more again on reading and understanding Nihonggo once again to appreciate the book. But I do liked the CGI photos now more than the previous books. I don't actually own the old ones but I do get the chance of browsing them at some Japanese Book Stores before. Now I'm thinking if I should buy the other ones, esp the VF-1 and YF/VF-19 books. But definitely the Tenjin Valkyrie books is a must. Question though. I know Tenjin did an image of VF-4 from the Macross Chronicles, is that included somewhere in his previous Valkyrie book? Thanks.
  13. Oh man. I didn't know. i should've waited before I shipped out my items at HLJ's PW. Oh well, I'll just wait for the other books to arrive before shipping it.

  16. Thanks for sharing that sh9000. Now I'm excited!
  17. And that's just the head. We're still not discussing the 'wrong blue' here. Hahaha! By the way, the good thing with the color they used is that when it displayed with the Macross Valks esp the ones with the Strike/Super Parts is that it blends very well color-wise. Including also the VF-2SS.
  18. Ok. I got mine today and had the time to inspect it this evening. And I have to say, looks like I'm confirming what glane21 said about the head. It would've been nice if the eyes are separate plastic and potrude a little bit more to have that separation. But atleast the eyes are not painted though. Oh, and be careful of those whiskers antennae. They're fragile and it doesn't come with extras.

Or you can buy two so you can display both configurations. Remember this is TV Hikaru.
  20. Once I got mine, I'll try to scratch the head and see if the paint will chip or fall off. Probably... NOT!
  21. Yikes! Really? Now I'm going to react too. Thought the eye is a separate plastic. So what you explained is more clearer now what to expect on this release. Boo Megahouse! Boo! But that doesn't stop me from buying if they will release a Orguss CF.
  22. I agree. I really don't get that security camera in the 'middle of nowhere' thing. Like he knows where to shoot exactly so that the car and the killing will end up somewhere near 'that' camera in the 'middle of nowhere'.
  23. Does this one look painted to you?

From the looks of the accessories, it has the option to switch between 2 Suit Configurations. Earth. Space. See the helmet part on the bottom right? And the regular helmet for Earth use beside it? Cool huh?
  25. First of all, congrats sh9000! Ok... I kinda got confused a little bit. How come Max has a black heatshield on his VF-1S? I thought he should also have the same blue heatshield like his VF-1A? I tried to recheck again some DYRL clips and found that Max has black heatshield on his VF-1S during his CQC with Millia. But the promo pics on the Yamato releases has the blue heatshield. Same thing with Hikaru VF-1S, there's some scene in the movie that shows his heatshield is black and also the skull marking on his Strike Packs are black as well. Animation color errors? But anyways, since seeing the promo pic of Yamato for Max 1S has blue, what's the official take on this? Thanks!
